After defending a recent joke about Asians and blacks on the hit sitcom Roseanne, ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey promised that the show would be “less political” in its second season. In a recent conference call with reporters, ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey defended a joke from an episode that aired several weeks ago. In the episode, the titular star of the show, Roseanne Barr, told her husband Dan (co-star John Goodman) that they had “missed all the shows about black and Asian families,” to which Dan deadpanned, “They’re just like us.” Dungey said he didn’t quite understand why the

And I know that the new "Murphy Brown" retread will follow these same rules...

Yeah right!!! LIE-beral shows can be as political as they want. They can attack conservatives and Christians at will. In fact, if they don´t attack them enough for their LIE-berals overlords, they will be ordered to be MORE political!!!

Nothing political in the show last night, not much humor either.

Loved the early Roseanne shows; later shows and this reboot, not so much. What I am excited about is Last Man Standing going to Fox! ABC canceled #2 show due to character being a Trump lover and the future shows could´ve been Trump saturated! ABC = STUPID. Politics over money and public opinion.

Politics on sitcoms are not at all humorous. Conservative or Liberal. It has become tiresome and irksome to watch such "humor". How long can a sitcom last when it´s only political humor?

The latest school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas brings out the same tired rhetoric from the left. They’re blaming guns, the NRA, and President Trump. What the left isn’t doing, however, is offering new and pragmatic solutions. Legislators can’t pass up opportunities to score political points in the aftermath of tragedies, especially mass shootings. They flaunt their sensitivity, a little thing called virtue signaling. The public already knows how terrible they feel about the tragedy – something we all share. Unfortunately, it’s become a ritual: demand action against guns, propose useless legislation, and create a media frenzy. The initial shock

Like the border guards of the Berlin Wall, Democrats seem to be in a panic about the defection of rap superstar Kanye West from their side of the impregnable wall. Now we have a report of President Obama making phone pleas to other rap stars, such as Jay-Z, the rapper husband of one of his favorites, Beyoncé, asking him to urge other hip-hop artists not to visit President Trump in the White House. Apparently, they can´t afford to lose anyone. Too much propaganda value at stake. And so, like the socialists of Berlin, with their shoot-to-kill policy for anyone dreaming

Former Secretary of State John Kerry warned President Donald Trump Sunday that Democrats are not afraid to go against his “America First” policies. “We won’t win, any of us, ultimately, by retreating within our borders, by focusing on our own nations only, or by going it alone,” Kerry told those gathered at New York University’s Abu Dhabi’s commencement ceremony Sunday — a direct reference to the president’s “America First” trade and immigration policies.
