On Monday, the House Intelligence Committee closed its inquiry into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, much to the chagrin of the liberal media. The committee confirmed that the Russians were indeed trying to cause chaos in the election, claimed they weren’t out to help candidate Donald Trump specifically and that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. But during their evening broadcasts, ABC and CBS downplayed the findings while NBC ignored them. CBS Evening News only gave 31 seconds to the House committee’s findings. “Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee said there was no collusion

This Russia Russia matter kept their collective panties in a wad for well over a year. Now, all the MSM can do is sigh and move on to the next scandal.

Years ago, journalism required reporting who, what, when, where, why, how. Like a well-rehearsed script, David Muir asks Jonathan Karl about the House Intelligence Committee finding no evidence of collusion and Karl’s response is a typical example of today’s “opinioniosts” who insert opinion into an alleged news report thereby shaping the news to fit their agenda and unwitting low information voters absorb it like sponges.

Example of today’s faux news (contaminated with opinion): FTA: “Karl appeared to be almost irritated by the committee’s findings: “THESE ARE THE REPUBLICANS THAT CONTROL THAT COMMITTEE.” “THE FINDING IS HARDLY SURPRISING,” he scoffed.

“AND GIVEN HOW PARTISAN THAT COMMITTEE IS, IT´S NOT GOING TO HAVE ANY IMPACT ON THE OVERALL DEBATE OVER RUSSIA.” He wrapped up the segment by holding out hope that the Senate and special counsel investigations would find something incriminating against the President.”

Example of real news report: “The House Intelligence Committee closed its inquiry into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. The committee confirmed that the Russians were trying to cause chaos in the election, claimed they were not out to help candidate DonaldTrump specifically and that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.”

I was a journalism major for two years in the early 70s. It was who, what, where and when. There was no why or how because that can be subject to opinion. Who, what, where, when - just the facts mam.

Changed my major to business and am happy I did!!

In the third debate, Hillary said challenging the election would be a "horrendous" idea. That´s one thing she got right.

There won´t be a single dim in the country that will believe the committee´s memo. They will all will be saying something like "all of the republicans will do anything to support Trump". Or something to attempt to say the the republicans just won´t believe the "facts" that have been turned up. Most of them will go to their graves believing that Trump had Russia helping him to win the election. No matter who says no and not facts to show it. It´s just something that they wan´t that they want to believe in.

#4- Interesting that academia’s influence in the 1970s dismissed the traditional “Five Ws and How” by eliminating the “why” and how” that are considered basic in information or problem solving that has been followed by today’s journalists interjecting the “why” and “how” into news accounts as opinion and boldly declaring their news conveyance as factual.

Analytically, “why” and “how” are necessary for a report to be considered complete; “why” did it happen, “how” did it happen. Facts are not opinions.

“A standard series of questions has been a way of formulating or analyzing rhetorical questions since classical antiquity.”

When the indictments start coming down on The Coup, 100% of Deplorables fervently hope the corrupt media co-conspirators are not only included in but heading the list, right ahead of Nurse Wretched and BarackHussein.

CNN and MSNBC do not take kindly to the House Intelligence Committee attacking their bloated programming golden goose. The RussiaRussia fiction was valued more at CNN than even washed-ashore ailerons, and that´s saying a lot!

The attorneys representing Concord Management, one of the Russian Companies that the corrupt Mueller team accused of impacting the 2016 Presidential election, crushed the “Unlawfully Appointed Special Counsel” in court last week again. They continue to make a laughing stock out of the Mueller team of misfit and conflicted attorneys. Mueller’s team of ignorant and misguided attorneys really have no chance. They never expected anyone to take them to court on their fake Russian indictments and are certainly no match for the attorneys representing Concord Management. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley instructed the FBI on Monday that they must gain access to former FBI Director James Comey´s private email account to see if any laws were broken when he used the account to conduct government business. "It is disturbing that FBI employees tasked with investigating Secretary Clinton, including the former director, appear to have engaged in strikingly similar conduct," Grassley wrote in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray. "In the FBI’s response to the Inspector General’s report, it claims, ´there is no finding or indication that any classified material ever transited

Hillary Clinton weighed in Monday morning on the ongoing controversy regarding the Trump administration’s "no-tolerance” border policy, suggesting that Jesus would not condone the actions of the American border authorities. At an awards lunch for the Women’s Forum of New York, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee called out “those who selectively use the Bible” to give grounds for the separations, which were reported by the Department of Justice on Friday. “I went to a lot of years of Sunday school — even taught it from time to time. President Trump vowed on Monday to make space great again. Speaking at a meeting of the National Space Council, Trump ordered the Pentagon to immediately establish a national “space force” that would become the sixth branch of the armed forces. “We are going to have a space force,” Trump said in Washington D.C. “An Air Force and a Space Force. Separate, but equal.” This is not the first time that Trump has floated the idea of establishing a “space force.” The president mentioned the idea in May during a ceremony at the White House honoring the Army Black Knights college football team. Trump did not go into details about

More than 50,000 illegals got DACA work-permits and Social Security Numbers even though they had an arrest record, says a new report by the Department of Homeland Security. The DHS factsheet provides some criminal-history details about the 888,765 illegals who asked for work-permits from former President Barack Obama. Those details were hidden by Obama’s deputies, who also hid information about the DACA illegals’ education credentials and work histories. Many of the arrested DACA people are likely to be grandfathered into the pending amnesty developed by House Speaker Paul Ryan. The list of 59,786 DACA

Former first lady Laura Bush tore into the Trump administration for separating migrant families at the border, calling the “zero tolerance” policy “cruel” and “immoral.” Bush penned an op-ed for the Washington Post, which was published Sunday night as public outcry over the hundreds of children in detention centers intensified. “I live in a border state,” Bush wrote. “I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart.” Bush’s commentary comes as more images and accounts from inside the detention centers have

Roseanne Barr has become untouchable due to the "Valerie Jarrett/Ambien/Planet of the Apes" controversy, irrevocably contaminated by racism. This presents a problem for ABC, which canceled her revived show but wants the show to return in some form because it had high ratings. The apparent solution is to create a new show focused on the daughter character "Darlene," which would exclude Roseanne. Unfortunately, Roseanne Barr owns a chunk of the show, and ABC doesn´t want to be seen letting Barr profit from it, so ABC is in talks to buy the show from Barr so she would not technically profit

The Justice Department’s tepid OIG report, with its risible assertion that there was no political bias in the FBI’s Clinton email probe, suggests that it was written by people afraid to tell the unvarnished truth about the conduct of the federal government’s police apparatus, an agency that openly defies congressional oversight and has participated in a vendetta against a sitting president. The FBI’s leadership clearly hopes that the Democrats will win majorities in Congress and put a halt to the investigations into its multifarious abuses of power. The OIG is loath to face the ruthless reprisals that would inevitably follow

The president of Harvard´s teaching hospital got to thinking one day and decided there were too many portraits of white male doctors hung in a popular amphitheater. She bemoaned the horrible situation that people walking into the amphitheater didn´t feel like they "belonged." The problem cried out for a solution. So she moved several portraits of prominent white doctors in order to be more diverse and inclusive. Problem solved? Fired FBI Director James Comey refused to appear before Congress on Monday to talk about his handling of the Clinton email investigation, and his fired deputy, Andrew McCabe, asserted his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination. Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch also declined to show up for a major hearing where the Senate Judiciary Committee was looking into the inspector general’s report detailing major bungles in Mr. Comey’s handling of the Clinton investigation.
