Florida Teacher of the Year´s gun violence
post goes viral after school shooting

A Teacher of the Year at a Florida middle school posted a Facebook message that has since gone viral saying parents need to “step up” when it comes to their kids’ behavior. (Snip) The middle school teacher said over her almost two decades as an educator that she’s seen an increase in violence and a lack of compassion among students. “Until we, as a country, are willing to get serious and talk about mental health issues, lack of available care for the mental health issues, lack of discipline in the home, horrendous lack of parental support when the schools are

Comments:
This brave woman says what so many of us here at Lucianne have said. She is bold enough to speak the truth. Unfortunately, the horrific parental behavior that she refers to isn´t likely to change soon, if at all. It´s not at all surprising that she was told to go to hell by a parent after telling them about their child´s bad behavior. That´s just the norm now. It´s not at all surprising that her father is a military officer.

Contd.  FTA: "She said when she began teaching 20 years ago, she never had to worry about calling a student’s parents and getting cussed out, told to go to hell, or threatened with a public shaming all because she was calling out their child’s behavior. Something, she said, has got to change."

The Democrats  created this mess because of their outrageous policy that directed teachers not to discipline minorities because of ´racial disparity.´ Link below. And they wonder why we are in the mess we are in? If they did discipline them you can be assured that the ACLU would step in. Years ago a policy like that would never have even been considered much less enacted. There were discussions to end this policy but I cannot find that they were rescinded. Link below.

That is only one example why our culture is so sick. because of leftist policies. Like so many of us here know,  things are so different from  when we were raised and there were no horrific tragedies like this. The cancer is so deep and wide I don´t know how we heal this country. The Democrats and those on the left have no desire to change it other than to give the government more power.

I´m sure the NEA and the committee who selected her will be raining down all hell on her for these common sense comments on education.
Many thanks to her for yelling charge from the front line and taking the bullets, rather than hanging at the back with all the generals and there staff.

It´s time to change the language. There are no more ´´school shootings´´. The new term is ´´gun free zone murders´´.

It simply amazes me that no one is willing to acknowledge the correlation between violent video games that have proliferated during the last 20 years and today´s "lack of compassion." And, yes, the parents are directly responsible for allowing their children to engage in such violent expressions of anger/hate/"winning".

It amazes me that it has taken this long for the lunacy of the leftest feminists to begin reaching the conscience of those whose brainwashing regarding the need for a father in the home is beginning to slowly fade and common sense is ever so slowly increasing. The mantra of the likes of NOW and other brain-dead lefties that there is no difference between boys and girls, and women can do it all, has created the environment where this senseless violence incubates.

A society that sanctions, approves, celebrates the mass murder of babies in the womb will not be able to contain the slaughter. There will be no safe spaces. Schools, theaters, malls are all at risk.

When are we going to do something about the real culprit?

What has changed over the last 50-60 years that has lead us to this point?

Society!

Who intentionally deteriorated our society over the past 50-60 years for political gain that created the conditions for things like mass shooting to occur today?

The Progressive Left!!!

We are so busy blaming this sickly tree and that sickly tree we fail to recognize who poisoned the forest in the first place.

The reality is nothing can nor ever will get better until progressive liberalism is purged from our society.

There are a good number of young Men and young Women who, as potential parents would raise their children with moral excellence and empathy for others.
Unfortunately, they are now grossly outnumbered by young amoral and under-educated males and females who are wrapped up in pursuing their own wants and pleasures, and who are not much interested in being an involved positive roll model parent.
Call them whatever you like... baby mammas, baby daddies, single (never married) mothers, or single (never married) fathers, for the majority of them, they do not possess the necessary core values and skill sets to alter the predicable outcomes of their litters/broods.
For the former group, work hard, be a great roll model, and teach your children well (including how to defend themselves).
For the latter group.... I do not think there is a good way ahead for most of them nor their kids.

My, my. How the 1960s has changed things. Too many children of the ´60s hippie, anti-authority, flag burning, draft card burning teenagers grew up with the me-first, undisciplined culture that has produced today´s crop of youngsters. I have known school teachers who left the profession because of parent´s abuse and lack of support by administrators.

In this day and age, home schooling or christian/private schools are the only alternatives for caring parents...

It´s not a "lack of compassion" but a generation with a lack of empathy. We have kids who think nothing of killing someone, who leave the scene of accidents. or will harm a teacher or complete stranger and think it´s funny. Their parents aren´t much different.

A Republican running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Oklahoma said he would "use" his Second Amendment if anyone treated his daughter the way President Trump treats women. Danny Stockstill, a Republican running for the vacant seat in Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District, admitted that, while he approves of Trump’s job in office, he doesn’t want him to be a role model for his children. “So why are we so afraid to say, ‘There’s no way I want my son to act like [Trump]?´" Stockstill said during a Tuesday night forum, according to the Tulsa World. “If my daughter ever

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R_FL) went on with Lou Dobbs on Wednesday and called out Speaker Paul Ryan for defending the deep state and refusing to defend Republican congressional investigators. Earlier today Paul Ryan defended the Obama FBI for spying on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. This was unbelievable. "Rep. The Justice Department signaled Wednesday in a letter to Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will not recuse himself from Special Counsel Robert Mueller´s Russia investigation unless department officials find it necessary. Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd wrote that Rosenstein "would recuse from all or part of any matter if recusal were deemed appropriate by Department officials who are informed about the matter. The curious case of Imran Awan, which sounds like an international spy thriller, is entering its third act. Awan was a congressional IT aide to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., and he was finally fired just after he was arrested trying to fly to Pakistan last summer. Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, were charged last summer with bank fraud. They now appear poised to strike a plea deal with the Department of Justice. Melinda Gates has decided to enter the venture capital world by sending her money to people based at least partly on their sex and skin color, she said in a recent Fortune interview. “It’s been incredibly disappointing to watch how few women-led businesses are getting funded,” Gates said. “Ultimately, if we want more innovation and better products, we’ve got to put more money behind women and minorities. That wasn’t happening, so I decided to step in and see what I could do to help a little bit.” Here are other portions of her interview where Gates specifically says some criteria

The rhetorical attacks on incoming National Security Council Executive Secretary Fred Fleitz (the author’s former colleague) have been shrill and ineffective. Conservatives have rallied to Fleitz’ defense, bolstered in part by Fleitz’s long history of work as a Central Intelligence Agency analyst, State Department official, and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence staffer, along with his solid reputation working on Iran and nonproliferation-related issues. According to Trump administration insiders, the White House blames Obama allies and Iran deal advocates for ginning up the non-controversy, and there’s no indication of a willingness to surrender the scalp of a long-time national security

Judge Brett Kavanaugh is going into the Supreme Court confirmation process with a hail of rhetorical arrows zinging by him, including a phony letter-writing campaign aimed at unsuspecting American newspaper editors. At least 21 papers were duped last week, including big-market brands like the Dallas Morning News and The Washington Times. They ran identical letters over a four-day period, each signed by a different person. The effort is an example of public-relations ´astroturfing,´ a technique meant to simulate genuine grassroots support for an idea or cause.
