Comey told Congress FBI agents
didn´t think Michael Flynn lied

Washington Examiner, by Byron York

In March 2017, then-FBI Director James Comey briefed a number of Capitol Hill lawmakers on the Trump-Russia investigation. One topic of intense interest was the case of Michael Flynn, the Trump White House national security adviser who resigned under pressure on February 13 after just 24 days in the job. (Snip) According to two sources familiar with the meetings, Comey told lawmakers that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, or that any inaccuracies in his answers were intentional. As a result, some of those in attendance came away with the impression

Well my, my, my. Mueller wanted another scalp and Flynn was the perfect mark. Besides Manafort he wanted another Trump associate. This entire fiasco stinks of fraud and corruption. If Mueller had any integrity. that is alleged by so many, he would disband his evil little group of DNC supporters. What they did to Flynn was horrific and evil. He was a man who served this country with honor and it sickens me to see him practically destroyed by those blood thirsty hacks on a Trump witch hunt.

Why POTUS is letting this go on and on is beyond my comprehension. Fiasco is right. Mr. President, please, end this. Flynn supported you, why can´t you support him?..Fire Mueller!!

Weren´t the folks involved in the MYE (Hillary´s case was known as the "Mid-Year Exam," and was said to be a "HQ Special," both more-or-less meaning that the fix was in also involved in changing a number of 302´s (FBI agents notes on meetings with sources, etc.)?

Real easy, it appears, for the coup plotters to make a "perjury trap" even without actual perjury, it sounds.

There are a bunch of folks that need to spend the next several years behind bars. I´m not talking Obama, Clinton or Lynch (although that would be justified), but a bunch of these executive level coup plotters in the deep state, so that others learn that this subversion is not something to be taken lightly.

There´s another back-story concerning Flynn and, IIRC, a female FBI? employee that Flynn (before he retired) stepped in and vouched for when she was being accused/harassed by a high-ranking FBI official? News was floating around early last year. Was it Mueller at the FBI? Was this payback? Or a ´favor´ to another?

Mueller had dirt on Flynn’s son, and Flynn Sr. pled guilty to the lying, so that Mueller would drop the case against Jr. All so he could add a scalp, and help going after Jared.

#4, I heard the same. Since we seem to be playing gotcha, then the new special counsel should bring abuse of power against Meuller et. al.

Obama fired Flynn late during his era, and obviously did not want Flynn to have any position in the Trump Administration, so they used the Special Counsel and the DOJ-FBI to get rid of him and then filed criminal charges against him. After reading this article and others about what happened at the start of the Trump Administration, that has to be the conventional wisdom. Since then the Democrats have been trying to pick off Trump’s crew one by one.

Flynn took a bullet for his son, as any good soldier would do. This entire thing is a trumped up mess and needs to stop now! Gen. Flynn and his wife have lost everything.
These ghouls on the left and still within our government must be made to leave along with all other Swamp dwellers. It´s beyond time! We cannot wait till November.

I think Trump is waiting for Flynn to be sentenced, then he will Pardon him. Unfortunately, I would bet Flynn is probably Bankrupted from trying to defend himself, and his son, in this who made up scheme.

Regarding the FBI interview with Flynn, the conclusions of the FBI agents who conducted the interview should count for something, even as a politically charged criminal persecution is being contemplated.

Rudyard Kipling had no idea that someday Tommy would not just be disdained by an unappreciative nation but would also be utterly destroyed by the same nation he so loyally served.

BUT, and hear this Republican Party and President Trump (and not just the Marxists), you bet that Tommy sees.

Keith Olbermann is expanding his role at ESPN — but it was nearly even bigger. The largest aspect of Olbermann’s expanded role with ESPN is that he will co-host around 20 “SportsCenter” 11 p.m. shows. Olbermann’s rise to national prominence came when he and his partner, Dan Patrick, hosted the program they dubbed “The Big Show.” Sources said ESPN considered offering Olbermann the full-time 6 p.m. “SportsCenter” show, but ultimately decided against it for a variety of reasons, including logistics, as the show will continue in Bristol and Olbermann lives in New York. The 6 p.m. show ultimately went to

Obama’s former DNI Chief James Clapper told CNN last Thursday “it was a good thing” the FBI was spying on Trump’s campaign. This was after he initially denied the Intelligence Community was spying on Donald Trump. Clapper told CNN it was a good thing if the FBI had someone “observing” the Trump’s campaigns interaction with the Russians because the “Russians posed a threat to the very basis of our political system.” (Snip) Now this… Clapper is continuing to change his story. Today he told Axios the deep state spying on Trump was actually “Benign version of information gathering.” Via Zero Hedge:

The FBI Spied for LBJ’s Campaign

Is it unthinkable that the Federal Bureau of Investigation would spy on a presidential campaign for political purposes? I can personally attest that it has happened before—during Barry Goldwater’s 1964 campaign. Every poll agreed that President Lyndon B. Johnson would easily win the election against the conservative Sen. Goldwater of Arizona. But LBJ wanted a landslide so he could implement his Great Society vision without resistance and go down in history as one of America’s greatest presidents. (Snip) Thus was born Johnson’s “Anti-Campaign” to smear Goldwater’s candidacy. The operation was run from the second floor of the West Wing by

Far-left Parkland activists threw themselves on the floor of a Florida grocery store on Friday, screaming and yelling for customers to boycott the store because of political donations that it had made. The "die-in" was organized by far-left activist and provocateur David Hogg, who has launched multiple boycotts aimed at those who support the NRA or who criticize him. (Snip) CBS News reported that Publix caved to the leftist pressure and intimidation tactics, announcing that they have decided to "suspend corporate-funded political contributions as we reevaluate our giving processes." Former White House adviser Anthony Scaramucci said Friday he won´t to a cable TV show with Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti, and joked that one reason why is because Avenatti is bald. "I´m not doing a TV show with Avenatti, no," Scaramucci said on "Fox and Friends." "I like people with a full head of hair." Hillary Clinton continued to attack the Electoral College system used to elect U.S. presidents on Friday, calling it an "odd system" and contrary to the idea of "one person, one vote." The public face of the gun-control movement demanded $1 million Thursday from the Florida-based grocery chain in a tweet, just one day after calling for a “die-in” protest at its stores. Publix is being targeted by Mr. Hogg for its support of Adam Putnam, a Republican gubernatorial candidate who is now the state’s agricultural commissioner. The Tampa Bay Times reported earlier this week that Publix had given $670,000 during the last three years to Putnam campaigns. Mr. Hogg not only sought atonement money from the grocery chain in Thursday’s tweet, he also demanded a pledge of ideological fealty to the

President Barack Obama took a light swing at his successor during a tech conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday. His eight years in office were scandal free, he told the audience. President Donald Trump’s presidency has thus far been racked with scandalous allegations, but Obama later hedged his barb. Until 1968, Walter Cronkite believed what his government told him about the Vietnam War. He was an old-school journalist, a patriot, a man who came of age covering World War II as a wire-service reporter and then taking over as the anchor of “The CBS Evening News” at the height of the Cold War. Like most journalists of his generation, he embraced the fight against communism and understood why the United States had intervened in the war raging in Vietnam. When he’d visited Vietnam on a reporting trip early in the war, he’d been annoyed by the attitude of the young
