After Missing Revenue Targets

Joe Pompeo writes at Vanity Fair that CNN, led by its president Jeff Zucker, will soon lay off dozens of employees — mostly from “several high-profile digital initiatives” — after the left-wing news network failed to reach revenue targets. From Vanity Fair:[D]espite the so-called Trump Bump, CNN appears to be re-thinking at least some elements of its digital strategy. I’ve learned that CNN, a key property in AT&T’s planned takeover of CNN’s parent company, Time Warner, is targeting big savings on the digital side, with as many as 50 jobs around the globe scheduled to be eliminated this week, according to

Why didn’t CNN just claim that they exceeded all of their revenue targets? It has no problem with making up negative stories about Trump so why not create false positive stories about itself? Besides, the majority of CNN’s audience are rushing for planes at airports so they wouldn’t have time to tell the difference between fake good results and actual bad results.

To #4´s point about being able to totally ignore CNN, unfortunately, they remain a default choice for many TVs in airports, gyms, waiting rooms, etc.

I would certainly cheer their demise and the professional career of Jeff Zucker, too.

No liberals, Obama or Clinton sycophants, were harmed in the layoffs.

But this will require CNN to change their usual 6 liberals to 1 conservative ratio to 8 to 1. And the 1 will be optional.

For those who don´t know, Ana Navarro, just like Nicolle Wallace, are major Bushies. Ana even has McCain experience. The two women will NEVER forgive DJT for his humiliating take down of their dear Low Energy Jeb! and his $150M war chest AND those two women´s bright White House futures! So they are just not rational about ANYTHING Trump.

Hmmm. President Lyndon Obama? So finally, someone stands up to remind the media that when it comes to the FBI and CIA spying on a political opponent of a president - America has in fact been here before. Admittedly, it helps to have been around at the time of the Johnson-Goldwater election in 1964. Not to call attention to age, but I was an eager-beaver eighth grader from a Republican family who, wonderfully ignorant about the history of the American Left, crusaded in my own fashion for LBJ. To my parents’ eye-rolling, head-shaking resignation. The GOP nominee, the “Mr. Conservative,” Arizona

The other four counties in the Top 10 were in the Boston and New York City areas. Santa Clara County, where Google is headquartered, ranked No. 1 with an average weekly wage of $2,576 in the fourth quarter of 2017. That was 132 percent more

If you weren’t already disgusted with how far left the American university system has gotten, this should pretty much set you over the edge. You may remember former Drexel and present NYU ‘scholar-in-residence’, Professor George Ciccariello-Maher, from his now infamous “All I want for Christmas is white genocide” tweet that went viral last year and ultimately sparked enough backlash that Drexel terminated him.Ciccariello-Maher’s twitter account is a sickening mix of anti-American, anti-male, and anti-white rhetoric (ironic considering he is a white American man) but this sort of far-left self-hatred is far too common these days.

White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley had a disappointing response for unhinged liberal actor Robert De Niro, who said recently President Donald Trump is banned from the Nobu restaurant chain he co-owns. “I don’t think the President is planning on attending a dinner at Nobu anytime soon,” Gidley said. “Look, Hollywood people grandstand all the time, they’re elitists,” he added. “They don’t know anything about what this president is doing for the American people and they couldn’t care less. Not only did De Niro say Trump’s not welcome in any of his establishments, he went so far as to

Hillary Clinton continued to attack the Electoral College system used to elect U.S. presidents on Friday, calling it an "odd system" and contrary to the idea of "one person, one vote." "You know, it is maddening because one of the panelists said we get the government that we vote for. Now, we have this odd system with the Electoral College." President Barack Obama took a light swing at his successor during a tech conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday. His eight years in office were scandal free, he told the audience. Until 1968, Walter Cronkite believed what his government told him about the Vietnam War. He was an old-school journalist, a patriot, a man who came of age covering World War II as a wire-service reporter and then taking over as the anchor of “The CBS Evening News” at the height of the Cold War. Like most journalists of his generation, he embraced the fight against communism and understood why the United States had intervened in the war raging in Vietnam.
