Nunes charges ´abuse´ of government

House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes told Republican colleagues in two closed-door meetings this week he has seen evidence that shows clear "abuse" of government surveillance programs by FBI and Justice Department officials, according to three sources familiar with the conversations, raising more questions about whether the controversial anti-Trump dossier was used by the Obama administration to authorize surveillance of advisers to President Trump. The California Republican made his comments in private meetings with GOP colleagues as he tried to round up votes in favor of renewing a key section of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, known as Section 702, which

Comments:
I really admire Devin Nunes. He has been dogged in his pursuit of the truth. It´s no wonder the filthy Dems tried to derail him early on with that phony ethics investigation. What a joke that is. I have no doubt that little crapweasel Schiff put them up to that. No matter, nothing has stopped him. He´s one of the best Republicans we have in DC. It´s too bad we don´t have hundreds more like him.

Contd. Of course the Democrats will be silent because that abuse by the FBI, et al happened under  the corrupt Obama´s watch who somehow manages to always remain above the fray because the media protects him. Nothing would be more satisfying than seeing him and his criminal comrades brought down and exposed for the evil, conniving hack that he is. He and his ilk weaponized every agency in the government, why should we believe that he didn´t do it in this instance?

Fox is late...Breaking:

GHCQ presence initiated the queries on his campaign members. So now we know why Trump cancelled his UK visit.

GHCQ boss quit days after Trump won election. Isn´t it odd, the triangle that we can begin to see UK----AUSTRALIA-----US (Media & Feds)

Check BoJo´s soaring rhetoric & remarks of former GHCQ boss below:

Didn´t the House just pass reauthorizing surveillance with the same loose provisions intact and pass it to the Senate. I hope Rand Paul sinks it or at the very least make the corrupt FBI and DOJ seek warrants and those judges make them tap dance for it.

McConnell has already passed a rule that it cannot be blocked. Ole Mc can move fast when he wants to.

Despite the institution of a new policy requiring players to stand during the national anthem and imposing fines for any that don´t, no New York Jets players will be paying any fines. Team chairman Christopher Johnson, who is acting as the owner while his brother, Woody Johnson, serves as the United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom, told Newsday on Wednesday that the team will cover any fines incurred by Jets players for violating the anthem policy. "I do not like imposing any club-specific rules," Johnson said, per Newsday. "If somebody [on the Jets] takes a knee, that fine will be

Former President Barack Obama’s education secretary and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel were planning how to turn a national tragedy into a legislative victory for the administration two days after the 2012 mass shooting in Newtown, Conn. That’s according to emails obtained under a Freedom of Information request from a reporter from the Baltimore Post. On the morning of Dec. 14, 2012, a 20-year-old man killed his mother in their home then traveled to Sandy Hook Elementary School — a semi-automatic rifle and two pistols in tow. He broke into the school and killed another 26 people — 20 of them

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper writes in his new book, "Facts and Fears" that he has "no doubt" the Russian influence campaign swung the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. MSNBC´s Rachel Maddow read a short excerpt from the book, available now, ahead of an interview with Clapper Tuesday night. "As a private citizen, I had no doubt they influence at least some voters. Looking at the savvy ways Russians targeted specific user groups -- for instance, buying advertisements on Facebook promoting Clinton´s support of the Black Lives Matter movement and ensuring those ads ran only on the pages of

Why exactly did nearly half the country vote for Donald Trump? Why also did the arguments of Never Trump Republicans and conservatives have marginal effect on voters? Despite vehement denunciations of the Trump candidacy from many pundits on the right and in the media, Trump nonetheless got about the same percentage of Republican voters (88–90 percent) as did McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012, who both were handily defeated in the Electoral College. Here are some of reasons voters knew what they were getting with Trump and yet nevertheless assumed he was preferable to a Clinton presidency. 1) Was Trump

The NFL Players’ Association (NFLPA) on Wednesday criticized the league for its new national anthem policy. In a statement, the union said it would review the new policy and “challenge any aspect of it that is inconsistent with the collective bargaining agreement.” The union accused the league of contradicting its previous statements, and of ignoring players’ wishes in developing the new policy, which instructs that all team and league personnel should stand for the national anthem. “The NFL chose to not consult the union in the development of this new ‘policy,’” the union said in a statement. “NFL players have

NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell said she thinks American diplomacy is better on TV than in real life. On Monday, Mitchell interviewed actor Erich Bergen, co-star of the CBS “Madam Secretary” in which Tea Leoni plays CIA-analyst-turned-Secretary-of-State Elizabeth McCord. Mitchell praised the show for its portrayal of what she thinks diplomacy should look like rather what it has been since President Trump took office. “As we’ve had a downturn at the State Department, at least it’s one place we can watch diplomacy in action, at least once a week on Sunday night,” Mitchell said.

After about thirteen years of being a loyal customer of Netflix, the time has come for me to say goodbye. (Snip) Given that I’m a conservative, one might be inclined to believe my choice to leave Netflix is predicated upon the company’s most recent decision to partner with Barack and Michelle Obama’s new company, called “Higher Ground Productions,” to produce loads of new content. And in a way, I guess that’s correct. But this choice by Netflix has not alone led me to this decision. Rather, this was the straw that finally broke the camel’s back -- the latest in a series of indicators that the network has become little more than a

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer fumed Tuesday over the Trump administration´s "outrageous" decision to exclude Democrats from an upcoming meeting in which Justice Department officials will give House Republicans documents related to the FBI´s investigation into potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Republican lawmakers had been demanding DOJ release the classified documents for months. “The only thing more outrageous than this meeting occurring at all is the fact that it’s now partisan,” the New York Democrat said. “It is crystal clear that Chairman Nunes’ intent is to interfere with the investigation, and Speaker Ryan is allowing it to

Former Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday urged Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI officials to "simply say no" to President Trump´s demand for an expanded investigation into his claims of FBI wrongdoing as it relates to his campaign. "More DOJ norms being eroded. Trump-a SUBJECT of the investigation-wants access to material related to the inquiry," Holder tweeted. (Snip) His latest criticism of the president came as Trump and his allies have claimed, without evidence, that an FBI informant spied on his campaign for political purposes. Saturday was Jacob Kosinski´s big day. Carefully, she typed in the message she wanted on the cake: "Congrats Jacob!

NFL club owners are considering potential 15-yard penalties for kneeling during the national anthem among ways of coping with a backlash over player protests, Sports Illustrated reported Tuesday. According to a story on the magazine´s website, owners set aside three hours to talk about the anthem issue, which President Donald Trump elevated into a major controversy last year. Ideas to handle players kneeling during the anthem included allowing home teams to decide if players should be out of the locker room during the pre-game playing of The Star-Spangled Banner or not.If players are on the sideline, then 15-yard
