Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said Friday he spoke ´directly´ to President Trump inside the Oval Office after he reportedly used a crude slur to describe to ´s***hole countries´ from Africa. Graham said he pushed back at the president – an account that was backed up by Illinois Democratic Sen. Richard Durbin of Illinois – after Trump reportedly made the comment at an Oval Office meeting, where he was also is claimed to have said disparaging things about Haitian immigrants. ´Following comments by the President, I said my piece directly to him yesterday,´ Graham said in a statement.

Comments:
I see Miss Lindsey is stepping into the John McCain "bash Trump every day, every hour" job.

So it was Graham and Durbin who paraphrased the President. What a surprise.

And it´s good to see Graham knows what E Pluribus Unum means, too bad he doesn´t support it. His policies and principles support just the opposite.

I always knew he was a lying, no good weasel. Weasel Lindsey!

Grahamnesty wants Amnesty. It´s the deal he made with the moneymakers who fill his pockets with lots of loot.

He´s bought and paid for, that´s very clear.

Durbin and Graham took a bleeper deal supported by nobody in the Congress to the POTUS, wasted his time, and the POTUS vulgarities were said in private to Durbin and Graham, as anyone would use when looking at those two.

I don´t know if I believe what´s been reported from the likes Durbin or Graham. But how did Durbin react when creepy Joe Biden called the passage of Obamacare "a big f ~ ing deal?" I don´t recall any democraps going into high dudgeon. I believe they printed out shirts with what he said and used them to fundraise. Hypocritical much?

I watched Graham during part of this meeting and could only cringe at the really obsequious way he tried to suck up to Trump. He clearly thinks Trump is an airhead with whom flattery will get you everywhere. The fact is that illegal immigration, chain migration and the lottery system have reached a boiling point and too many Americans have gone from discomfort to alarm to feeling existentially threatened by the illegals taking advantage of us while being taught to despise us for our white skin and our so-called privilege. Graham, McCain, Flake, Durban, Schumer, etc. will be remembered as the scoundrels they are when this problem overflows into bloodshed as it inevitably will. Through lies, greed, hate and selfishness their ilk are guaranteeing it.

I can´t stand these virtue-signaling hypocrites, elitists all who live in the best neighborhoods and hobnob with the well-to-do and so-called "bien pensant". They may never utter the language, but their lifestyle choices, both daily and long-term, expose them for the phonies that they are. Self-righteous hypocrite Graham can go jump in a lake, to put it nicely. The same to all who have publically beaten their chests over this incident. I don´t have any time at all to waste on them. nor should any honest person. Few things stink more than hypocrisy.

Graham, its time you gathered a group of senators together and make a junket to the alleged countries
mentioned by President Trump.
Ask their leaders how they justify smiling as their women produce a child every nine months and four minutes..
Videos will show most crowds with few women but lots of knee high children. The fathers are never in sight.
Are these the “immigrants” that are being shoved across our borders?

It has been four months since Megyn Kelly earned the wrath and ire of Jane Fonda for asking the 80-year-old actress about her plastic surgery, and the NBC host is now responding to the backlash. That moment occurred during Kelly´s third episode when she asked the Oscar-winner about what work she had done in the past, which prompted a steely Fonda to stare Kelly down and ask: ´We really want to talk about that now?´ Since then Fonda has complained about the question to a number of outlets, and even mocked Kelly´s question on Today last week during an interview

In nine days in early December, eight young people died of overdoses in Fairfax County, Va., the second-richest of the 3,007 counties in the United States. Mass events like these happen frequently and in all sorts of places. A half-dozen people died in the small Rhode Island town of Burrillville in the first weeks of 2015. Twenty-eight people overdosed in a single afternoon in Huntington, West Virginia, in 2016, though all but two survived. We describe them as “mass” overdoses, but of course the life of a heroin addict is a solitary one, and most of those involved die alone

The word “shithole” was projected onto President Trump’s D.C. hotel Saturday. Video shows the word, along with the poop emoji, being projected onto the property. “Pay Trump bribes here,” “emoluments welcome” and “we are all responsible to stand up and end white supremacy” were also projected onto the building. Trump has faced intense backlash for calling Haiti, El Salvador and African nations “shithole countries” during an Oval Office meeting on immigration this week. “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump reportedly said, before suggesting that the U.S. bring in more immigrants from countries like

David Cameron thought Barack Obama was one of the ´most narcissistic, self-absorbed people´ he had ever dealt with, his former strategy guru has claimed. While in office the two leaders had a cosy bromance and were pictured high-fiving and playing rounds of golf and ping pong together. But Steve Hilton tore into Mr Obama for thinking he was ´smarter´ than everyone else in the room. And he claimed that his old boss Mr Cameron would get wound up by the ex President´s self absorption. He said: ´My old boss, former British prime minister David Cameron, thought Obama was one of the most narcissistic,

PHOENIX — Ambitious Republicans anxious for a shot at a U.S. Senate seat have begun quietly jockeying to be appointed as the successor to Sen. John McCain (R), even as he battles an aggressive form of brain cancer. The lobbying campaigns, described to The Hill by half a dozen GOP strategists and aides, have angered many Republicans, who see any public chatter as disrespectful to a senator who has helped shape modern Arizona. Chief among those upset is the man who would make an appointment, Gov. Doug Ducey (R), who issued a brushback pitch during a radio appearance last week.

You’ve got to feel for Robert Mueller. The man overseeing the special investigation into Russian election meddling is by all accounts a non-partisan straight shooter, the model image of a public-minded civil servant. Drafted to lead politically polarizing investigation, working under the beady eyes of distrustful congressional Republicans, Mueller has striven to keep his team’s conduct as unimpeachable as possible by bringing on some of America’s sharpest legal minds to check his own work and keeping public comments to a minimum. Imagine how Mueller feels, then, to have to answer so frequently for the partisans and incompetents surrounding him. The special counsel’s biggest

Congressional investigators believe they are barely beginning to answer the questions raised by the text messages between the FBI´s Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. For several reasons: 1) Strzok and Page were more prolific texters than anyone knew. In a statement late Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said FBI investigators have found "over 50,000 texts" in their review of Strzok-Page communications. 2) Even with all those texts, the FBI says it cannot find the couple´s messages between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017 — a critical time in the Trump-Russia affair. The mood on the international conference call at the beginning of this month was somber as Ian Bremmer, president of the political risk consulting firm Eurasia Group, prepared to list off top global dangers in the coming year. Bremmer began with a show-stopping line:"If we had to pick one year for a big unexpected crisis — the geopolitical equivalent of the 2008 financial meltdown — it feels like 2018." The reasons are many, Bremmer cited, but the most prominent causes for global insecurity stem from U.S. President Donald Trump´s move away from global leadership, and China´s eagerness to fill the

Chuck Schumer is taking his big spending boost for Donald Trump’s border wall off the table. The Senate minority leader, through an aide, informed the White House on Monday that he was retracting the offer he made last week to give Trump well north of the $1.6 billion in wall funding Trump had asked for this year, according to two Democrats. And now they say Trump will simply not get a better deal than that on his signature campaign promise. Schumer “took it off,” said Sen. Calling the Trump administration’s tax reform plan a “middle-class tax increase,” two California lawmakers introduced a bill that would force large companies to fork over half of their expected savings to the state. Assemblymen Kevin McCarty and Phil Ting, both Democrats, introduced Assembly Constitutional Amendment 22, which calls for a 10 percent surcharge on companies with a net earnings over $1 million. The plan could potentially raise billions for the state´s social services programs. “It is unconscionable to force working families to pay the price for tax breaks and loopholes benefiting corporations and wealthy individuals,” Ting said in a statement,
