Following President Trump’s Thursday comments, it’s worth noting that former President Obama called the African country of Libya a “shit show” just two years ago. The comments were recorded in an interview with The Atlantic. The wide-ranging interview was based on Obama’s foreign policy over his eight years in office. During one portion of the interview, Obama said described Libya as a “mess” to the interviewer but behind closed doors called the country a “sh*t show.” According to the Atlantic: “So we actually executed this plan as well as I could have expected: We got a UN mandate, we built
Comments: This subject has been beaten to death but I just had to post this to prove the utter hypocrisy of the hacks in the media. I must have missed CNN"s 24 hour coverage of them calling Obama a racist, etc. for saying such a thing about Libya. Heavy s/o It´s really rich isn´t it that Obama called Libya such a mess when he and the criminal hack Clinton are the ones who single–handedly destroyed it. I can still see her laughing about killing Gaddafi. At least he kept order in that country.
A brand-new U.S. Navy warship has not moved from Montreal since Christmas Eve and will spend the winter stuck in Canada due to cold and ice. The USS Little Rock – unveiled in a ceremony on Dec. 16 in Buffalo, New York and attended by nearly 9,000 people – has not moved far since due to adverse weather conditions that kept the warship trapped at bay in Canada, the Toronto Star reported. The warship known as a Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) cost $440 million to build and stretches 387 feet in length and weighs 15 tons more than the Statue
In the latest blow to the pure image portrayed by their supporters in Congress, newly released statistics show that over 500 illegals stripped of their “dreamer” status due to crime and gang charges remain on the streets. A new analysis of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services statistics found that 2,127 individuals had their amnesty status terminated for criminal activity and/or gang activity as of November 22, 2017. Of those booted from the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival amnesty program, 562 were deported. But, said the analysis from the Center for Immigration Studies, a near equal amount — 535 — were
The Senate on Monday was set to hold a successful vote to reopen the federal government, after Senate Democrats agreed to let the bill through even though it doesn´t include immigration language they are seeking. "We will vote today to reopen the government to continue negotiating a global agreement," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said on the floor. Under the bill up to be called up, the government would be fully funded through Feb. 8, and it would fund the Children´s Health Insurance Program for six years. It would also reopen the government, which has been partially closed since midnight
Calling the Trump administration’s tax reform plan a “middle-class tax increase,” two California lawmakers introduced a bill that would force large companies to fork over half of their expected savings to the state. Assemblymen Kevin McCarty and Phil Ting, both Democrats, introduced Assembly Constitutional Amendment 22, which calls for a 10 percent surcharge on companies with a net earnings over $1 million. The plan could potentially raise billions for the state´s social services programs. “It is unconscionable to force working families to pay the price for tax breaks and loopholes benefiting corporations and wealthy individuals,” Ting said in a statement,
Frustrated MS-13 gang leaders feeling the pressure from the Trump administration’s crackdown are looking to send “younger, more violent offenders” to the United States to take over the role of being enforcers, officials say. The revelations were made Thursday during a House Committee on Homeland Security meeting on fighting international criminal organizations, where officials discussed the arrests and imprisonment of MS-13 members and leadership over the last year. "They´re very much interested in sending younger, more violent offenders up through their channels into this country in order to be enforcers for the gang," said Stephen Richardson, assistant director of the FBI´s criminal
A Report was released in April of 2017 that received no publicity until recently. The report was a ruling on the results of an investigation or audit into FISA searches made by Obama’s FBI and DOJ during Obama’s time in office. The report shows Obama’s FBI and DOJ participated in widespread criminal searches and criminal sharing of data with non authorized entities outside of government. On April 26, 2017, an unsealed FISA Court Ruling unveiled a number of criminal activities that Barack Obama’s FBI and DOJ participated in during his time in office. The report to date received little attention.
WEST POINT, N.Y. - Two Army captains who met at West Point have returned there to be married, in what is believed to be the first same-sex marriage of active-duty personnel at the storied New York military academy. The New York Times reports Captains Daniel Hall and Vincent Franchino were married on Jan. 13. They´re both Apache helicopter pilots stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. The men met in August 2009, when Franchino was a freshman and Hall was a senior. Their first date was in February 2012 in Washington, some months after the "don´t ask, don´t tell"
Democrats called it the Trump shutdown. Republicans labeled it the Schumer shutdown. But in reality, it was the Dreamer shutdown. The recipe for the current congressional gridlock is complex, but at the top of the list of ingredients are the illegal immigrant Dreamers who pushed Democrats to launch the filibuster that sent the government careening into a partial shutdown. It’s a stunning display of political leverage for a group that, at most, numbers several million, can’t vote now, and even under the most generous proposals wouldn’t be able to cast ballots for another decade. Yet they have amassed an extraordinary amount of
It´s no secret that Mitt Romney is, in all likelihood, going to run for a Senate seat in Utah. What´s less clear, however, is why the man who was the 2012 Republican presidential nominee and is now retired and occupying an elder-statesman role in a party torn into warring factions would want to serve as a junior senator. Once elected, Romney would find himself embroiled in day-to-day congressional fights and less free to voice his criticisms of the White House, while losing some of the deference he´s been shown by members of his own party. But listen to any number of Republicans and
Malia Obama, who is studying at Harvard University, has boyfriend! But some black people on Twitter have questioned her choice in men, because Malia´s new homey, Rory Farquharson, is white. (5 tweets) This racism on the part of some in the black community, who are bruddas and sistas to us all, is very sad. Most white people want us to grow together as a community. I just wish everyone of all races felt the same way. Questions for discussion: After years of Obama´s race baiting, President Trump is the first "post-racial" president to follow him. What do you think President Trump
Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer of New York pinned the government shutdown on President Donald Trump, saying it has become "next to impossible" to negotiate with the White House. In a press availability, Schumer said he and Trump have been close to a deal to fund the government at least once. But, he said the "hard right" in the Republican Party later convinces Trump not to strike a deal with him."[Trump] won´t take yes for an answer," Schumer said. (Tweet) Schumer said that he does not know whether Trump´s apparent waffling on a deal is the work of adviser Stephen Miller, a
Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) questioned President Donald Trump’s new campaign ad saying Democrats “will be complicit in every murder committed by illegal immigrants” if they continued the shutdown. Ryan said, “They are certainly not helping us keep the government open. They are certainly not helping us get to a solution on immigration. When you shut down the government you stop negotiating on immigration reform. They’re complicity with not getting things done.” He added, “I’m not going to comment. I just saw that. I don’t know if that’s necessarily productive. It’s no
The Daily Caller journalist Chuck Ross has some extremely interesting information released today surrounding former top FBI Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok and DOJ/FBI liaison attorney Lisa Page which includes a disclosure by top FBI officials that text messages between Strzok and Page have gone missing. (Snip) According to information relayed to Senator Ron Johnson, the period of time the FBI has “lost” is from December 14th, 2016 to May 17th, 2017, the exact day that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was assigned to lead the Russia collusion probe. As CTH has previously outlined the same “small group” inside the DOJ and FBI,
Investigators in both House and Senate were stunned late Friday when, receiving a batch of newly-released texts between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, they also received notice from the bureau that the FBI "failed to preserve" Strzok-Page messages from December 14, 2016 through May 17, 2017. Given the amount of texting that went on between Strzok and Page, who were having an extramarital affair, that probably meant thousands of missing documents. A number of critical events in the Trump-Russia affair occurred between December 2016 and May 2017, including: Conversations between Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russian ambassador Sergey
