Racist attacks on immigrant communities and people of color continue to define the Trump administration, the NAACP said in a statement following Trump´s reported description of Haiti and some African countries as "sh**holes." The NAACP compared Trump to Bull Connor, the late public safety commissioner in Birmingham, Alabama known for his brutality against civil rights protesters in the 1960s. (Snip) The NAACP issued the following statement, accusing Trump of wanting to "return American to its ugly past of white supremacy." As our nation fights to move forward, our President falls deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole of racism and xenophobia. The
Comments: How rich. Of course those racists failed to mention that Bull Connor was a DEMOCRAT. Not even Ms. Jones mentioned that blatant omission.
The NAACP is a racist organization. I have never heard a word of inclusiveness or peaceful outreach from the NAACP. The NAACP promotes division, because there would be no reason for their existence, no point to their money raising, with racial segregation on every point.
We know (and expect) what NAACP thinks. But for those of us in real life - what do our Black and other minority friend and co-workers think? (I´m somewhat homebound and don´t get out much, but I´d really like to know!)
Bull Connor was enforcing Demoncrat policies. Trump is trying to enforce American policies. There is no comparison.
Nobody wants to return America to the ugly past of demoncrat racial policies. The racism of demoncrats is so yesterday. We look forward to the day when every American is judged by the content of their character, instead of their color. Ever heard of that, NAAColoredPeople?
Point Two: Even if he did say it, it is an accurate assessment. Excrement is a primary odor in many of these places. From a political, social, law enforcement, economic and cultural viewpoint, it is also accurate.
Sorry, not impressed in the slightest that this is even worth one minute of time.
I think the NAACP, its ilk, and its whole victim industry has or is close to a tipping point. What used to work doesn´t work so well anymore. The result of which is that the harder they try the worse they make it for themselves. For that matter, the left and its miserable tyranny of the minority mentality is in the desperate throes of losing its power and all that they try to do to prop it up only makes matters worse. It must be a nightmare for them as the continue to beat the same drums and they find no one listening.
Court documents recently filed by the government further rock the credibility of Russia Special Counsel Robert Mueller because they show that as FBI Director Mueller he worked to cover up the connection between a Florida Saudi family and the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The documents reveal that Mueller was likely involved in publicly releasing deceptive official agency statements about a secret investigation of the Saudis, who lived in Sarasota, with ties to the hijackers. A Florida journalism nonprofit uncovered the existence of the secret FBI investigation that was also kept from Congress. Under Mueller’s leadership, the FBI tried to discredit the story,
Congressmen used the chaos of an impending government shutdown to “covertly” neuter efforts to reform Congress’ sexual harassment settlement slush fund, according to ethics watchdogs. Members of both parties loudly expressed outrage at revelations of a system that used Department of the Treasury funds to pay off alleged victims of mistreatment by congressmen in exchange for binding them with secrecy. They acted shocked when it emerged in the media, even though the leaders of the House Administration Committee had voted on each settlement when it occurred. Now the leaders of that same committee — Republican Gregg Harper of Mississippi and Democrat Robert
Senator Ron Johnson, a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, has been investigating FBI activity surrounding the Clinton email investigation. Tonight during an appearance on Fox News, Senator Johnson claimed to have an FBI informant who has information about secret ‘off-site’ meetings between high-level FBI and DOJ officials. WATCH: Earlier today Senator Johnson released copies of text messages (full pdf below) between DOJ/FBI attorney Lisa Page and FBI Lead Investigator Peter Strzok which indicated the FBI agent saw no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion and was reluctant to join the Special Counsel Robert Mueller team because “there’s

Kaepernick and four other players were announced as finalists for the NFL Players Association’s Byron “Whizzzer” White Community MVP award, according to NBC Sports. The free agent quarterback pledged $1 million to various charitable organizations during the 2016 season. He won the NFLPA’s “Community MVP” award during Week 1 of the 2017 season after donating $100,000 to four charities and holding a back-to-school backpack giveaway in New York City. Kaepernick joins Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller,
A top Facebook executive announced this week that he would be stepping down from the company in part to focus on helping the Democrats in this year’s midterm elections. Gary Briggs, Facebook’s chief marketing officer, wrote in a post on Monday that he also plans to advise some companies and consider teaching in his retirement. “We’re going to travel some and start to split our time in and out of the Bay Area and Seattle,” Briggs wrote. “And I plan to help the Democratic Party on some efforts leading up to the US midterms this year through to 2020.” Briggs
Former FBI Director James Comey was interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller last year. According to the New York Times, the interview focused on “a series of memos” Comey wrote about his interactions with President Trump that bothered him. It has been previously revealed that in one of the memos, Trump asked Comey to end the FBI’s investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn — who has since been charged in the Mueller probe. The news comes just hours after Department of Justice spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores confirmed that Attorney General Jeff Sessions was interviewed by Mueller’s team last
Crooked Cop Comey fired off another cryptic tweet amid a media firestorm over the FBI text message bombshell revealing there was a “secret society” of people in the FBI and DOJ working against Trump. (Snip) Shortly after this bombshell hit the wire, crooked Comey came out of hiding and fired off a cryptic tweet. Comey tweeted late Monday evening, “Good to read reports of people standing up for what they believe in. “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy” —
You’ve got to feel for Robert Mueller. The man overseeing the special investigation into Russian election meddling is by all accounts a non-partisan straight shooter, the model image of a public-minded civil servant. Drafted to lead politically polarizing investigation, working under the beady eyes of distrustful congressional Republicans, Mueller has striven to keep his team’s conduct as unimpeachable as possible by bringing on some of America’s sharpest legal minds to check his own work and keeping public comments to a minimum. Imagine how Mueller feels, then, to have to answer so frequently for the partisans and incompetents surrounding him. The special counsel’s biggest
Malia Obama, who is studying at Harvard University, has boyfriend! But some black people on Twitter have questioned her choice in men, because Malia´s new homey, Rory Farquharson, is white. (5 tweets) This racism on the part of some in the black community, who are bruddas and sistas to us all, is very sad. Most white people want us to grow together as a community. I just wish everyone of all races felt the same way. Questions for discussion: After years of Obama´s race baiting, President Trump is the first "post-racial" president to follow him. What do you think President Trump
Congressional investigators believe they are barely beginning to answer the questions raised by the text messages between the FBI´s Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. For several reasons: 1) Strzok and Page were more prolific texters than anyone knew. In a statement late Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said FBI investigators have found "over 50,000 texts" in their review of Strzok-Page communications. 2) Even with all those texts, the FBI says it cannot find the couple´s messages between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017 — a critical time in the Trump-Russia affair. It´s probably safe to say there is not a single
New text messages from anti-Trump FBI agents reviewed by investigators reportedly make reference to a "secret society," in what could be the nail in the coffin for special counsel Robert Mueller´s Russia investigation. Investigators have reviewed 50,000 text messages on FBI servers looking for all exchanges between anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page during the 2016 election, Fox News reported. The revelation comes as investigators are seeking the whereabouts of approximately five months´ worth of text messages between Page and Strzok. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy told Fox News on Monday that one
The mood on the international conference call at the beginning of this month was somber as Ian Bremmer, president of the political risk consulting firm Eurasia Group, prepared to list off top global dangers in the coming year. Bremmer began with a show-stopping line:"If we had to pick one year for a big unexpected crisis — the geopolitical equivalent of the 2008 financial meltdown — it feels like 2018." The reasons are many, Bremmer cited, but the most prominent causes for global insecurity stem from U.S. President Donald Trump´s move away from global leadership, and China´s eagerness to fill the
Chuck Schumer is taking his big spending boost for Donald Trump’s border wall off the table. The Senate minority leader, through an aide, informed the White House on Monday that he was retracting the offer he made last week to give Trump well north of the $1.6 billion in wall funding Trump had asked for this year, according to two Democrats. And now they say Trump will simply not get a better deal than that on his signature campaign promise. Schumer “took it off,” said Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the No. 2 Senate Democrat. “He called the White House yesterday and said
Calling the Trump administration’s tax reform plan a “middle-class tax increase,” two California lawmakers introduced a bill that would force large companies to fork over half of their expected savings to the state. Assemblymen Kevin McCarty and Phil Ting, both Democrats, introduced Assembly Constitutional Amendment 22, which calls for a 10 percent surcharge on companies with a net earnings over $1 million. The plan could potentially raise billions for the state´s social services programs. “It is unconscionable to force working families to pay the price for tax breaks and loopholes benefiting corporations and wealthy individuals,” Ting said in a statement,
