Beware Romney & Trump
Impeachment Attempts…

DC Whispers, by Staff

Two Democrats were just sworn in to the Senate this week: Doug Jones of Alabama and Tina Smith of Minnesota. One man waits in the wings to do the same – former GOP presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. The Trump White House is likely watching the Senate developments very closely as they could prove pivotal to ongoing attempts to destroy the Trump presidency. Smith is simply a side move for Democrats, but Jones is a big gain. He is the first Democrat to represent Alabama in the Senate in a generation. It is believed both Smith and Jones support the “Impeach

Romney would be another vote for impeachment. Count on it.

Mitt, I wouldn´t go there if I were you, assuming the Utah voters even want you, that is.

Apparently nearly every attorney is a “constitutional scholar”, but not being even your average slip and fall lawyer, I suspect there should be some reason or excuse in order to talk of impeachment. Other than funny hair. With Andrew Johnson and Clinton I could understand the attempt.

It takes 67 votes in the Senate to impeach. Does anyone here actually think that´s a possibility? Do you think they want to go down in history as the reason for a full-scale revolution?

Impeach Trump and a lot of people will go to the mattresses. It won´t be something that citizens watch from afar.

Mitt Romney will be another reason Trump won´t be impeached. Impeachment, of course, takes place in the House but House members must be cognizant of the likelihood of conviction in the Senate.
Where there is no likelihood, impeachment too becomes unlikely. Romney is a man of reason and moderation. He is not a hothead and it is difficult to see him voting for conviction on the basis of any of his stated reasons for disliking Trump. They are not "high crimes and other misdemeanors . . "
The article is paranoia in written form.

Mitt Romney will be as "safe" a Democrat vote as Doug Jones or whoever the coat holder from Alabama and the new gal from Frankensota.

If I were Trump, I might even show up to campaign for the Democrat running against Mittens.

Good grief! Romney does not hold any office, and they´ve got him impeaching Trump. Some buy will buy anything if it´s negative news against someone they dislike.

#3 is right, along with the fact that a big percentage of the Republican congress critters who would vote to impeach President Trump on some baloney charge like not liking Trump or not being in tune with his political policies, who are from states won by Trump, would be cutting their own throats. Remember the first rule of being a successful congress critter is self-preservation.

As #6 states impeachment is what the House does. Bill Clinton was impeached. However, he was not convicted by the Senate. That takes 67 votes. The only way the Senate would take up a trial for an impeached Donald Trump would be if Democrats controlled the Senate. There is way too much hysteria and fake news in the air.

As evidenced here, Romney remains the golden calf of big government republicans and other tendentious severe conservatives.

Like Hillary, Romney still believes he was deprived of a White House that is rightfully his, and he and his cabal of Wall Street grifters and money changers believe hey can get it all back. So it is hardly beyond the wall of believability that the mentality with such contempt for populist conservatism, small government and pro life ideals that they continue to yip and squeal with their daily postings, that such people will promote all efforts to rein flare the myth of Romney.

The Senate can´t impeach. As long as the Republicans hold the House, impeachment is off the table.

Romney by no means feels he should´ve won the White House. As reported by Boston Globe and others quoting Romney´s son, he never wanted the job, hated the whole idea of running, would´ve dropped out any day if someone would´ve run in his place. Romney ran a fraud. He belongs in jail. He´s the standard Sabotage Republican--having no ideology and no soul-- who exists just to criticize Republican voters (who to this day have no political party behind them), and block the country from getting the candidate it needs. The media like him because he lost and is guaranteed to lose again should he run. He also promoted global warming fraud.

The suspect in a spate of bombings that terrorized residents of Austin, Texas, died early Wednesday after detonating an explosive inside his vehicle as a SWAT team tried to apprehend him on the side of a highway, officials said. Authorities had tracked the suspect — a 24-year-old white man — to a hotel in Round Rock, a city in the Austin metropolitan area, Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said at a news conference. Police did not name the bomber, but two law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation identified him to NBC News as Mark Anthony Conditt.

A man can run the gauntlet against more than 20 professional politicians and come out victorious. He can win more than 40 Republican primary contests and beat every professional political campaigner out there, earning the votes of more than 14 million Republicans. He can then turn his attention to beating the most powerful, entrenched political machine America has seen in nearly a half-century. With the decisive midterm elections just months away, Democrats are finally rolling out a long-awaited jobs program in hopes of wooing disaffected, working-class voters back to their party this November. Their message is sure to win the hearts and minds of millions of blue-collar workers in the heartland who abandoned the party in 2016 to vote for Donald Trump. It is unflinching in its commitment to protect the most vulnerable employees—those who are at-risk of having their jobs taken away on a whim by powerful forces—and rendered unable to pay their bills or find other work. “Extensive Data Shows Punishing Reach of Racism for Black Boys,” blared the headline in Monday’s New York Times, announcing the latest massive study from Stanford economist Raj Chetty. The Times tweeted: Black men raised in the top 1 percent—by millionaires—were as likely to be incarcerated as white men raised in households earning about $36,000. In reply, Charles Murray laughed: An analysis destined for the unintended-consequences-of-publicizing-technically-accurate-data hall of fame. Five years ago, Chetty began publishing his “Equality of Opportunity Project” results. Sometimes the hysteria of crowds causes them to overlook the obvious. Here is a series of 12 questions that do not seem to trouble anyone, but the answers to these should expose why so many of the people today alleging scandals should themselves be considered scandalous. 1) Had Hillary Clinton won the election, would we now even know of a Fusion GPS dossier? Would assorted miscreants such as Andrew McCabe, Bruce Ohr, Lisa Page, Glen Simpson, Christopher Steele, or Peter Strzok now be under a cloud of suspicion? Or would they instead have been quietly lionized by a President Clinton

Officials in a Minneapolis school district are trying to figure out why black students are suspended three times more often than their white peers, according to a Sunday report. Black students have a 338 percent higher chance than white students to be suspended at Justice Page Middle School in Minneapolis, Minn., according to The New York Times. Black students make up 41 percent of the Minneapolis school district’s student body, but 76 percent of its suspensions. The black students constantly tell the principal, “The teacher only sees me,” Justice Page Principal Erin Rathke said. She responds, “Yes, that’s probably true.”

James Kallstrom is no joke. With nearly thirty years in the FBI, several of them as the Assistant Director, Kallstrom knows how the agency functions far more than most. So when he says there was a plot to protect Hillary Clinton from prosecution and to illegally influence the 2016 Election people should pay attention. Kallstrom goes on to call the entirety of the FBI investigation against Donald Trump completely phony. Maria Bartiromo’s own take appears very much to compliment Mr. Kallstrom’s assertions. The Deep State shenanigans run very deep and in 2016 are linked to the Obama White House. Barack Obama

President Trump says he didn´t collude with Russia in 2016, promising something to a foreign country in exchange for his installation as president. That seems increasingly likely to prove true. Where they do not spring from simple malignancy, critics’ arguments that Trump used Russian intervention to win the election are mostly an excuse to avoid the plain truth that Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate. And the country is better for that result. We aren’t persuaded, either, that the Russians’ paltry $100,000 in Facebook spending had anything to do with Trump’s win, given that very little of it
