Tracking statistics from the moving company United Van Lines indicate that Americans are still heading west, while parts of the Northeast and Midwest are losing people. On Tuesday the suburban St. Louis-based moving company released its 41st annual National Movers Study, which tracks customers´ state-to-state migration patterns. Three of the top four destination states are in the West including Oregon, Idaho and Nevada. (Map) However Vermont, a Northeast state, had the highest percentage of inbound migration in 2017. About 68 percent of state-to-state moves in Vermont were inbound last year. At the other end of the spectrum is Illinois, which

Don´t count on them heading all the way west. Too many will settle in fly-over land and bring their plagues with them.

This is based upon moving company statistics. For those who don’t like to read, there is a map graphic that shows in colors what the report is talking about. How simple is that?

I found far too many people in NYC and in New Jersey to be arrogant and rude when I visted there in the early 70´s. I sure it is far worse now. The left coast is bad enough without the invasion by the East coast. The left coast is going to end up in the deep blue sea.

The problem is that the Northeasterners (sp?) totally devastate their own state with outrageous taxes on everything including transit (who can afford an automobile, gas, insurance and the tolls and the bridge costs?) They impose draconian and far reaching regulations in all areas so it is virtually impossible to open a business. Would make Lenin and Marx smile. Worse, they carpetbag their super-leftist, socialist ideas from the northeast to where ever they land. With relocating to WA or OR, they will be in for a surprise because when the CA migration occurred in the 90s, the property values exploded because CA migrants could afford the low-priced mansions. While New Yorkers and Jersiates have their arrogance and rudeness, those in the Northwest are highly intolerant of any one who is not a vegan, wears leather, bathes, likes Trump, the Bushes, RR and Thatcher. Also, the Portland and Seattle freeway traffic is so bad, that it makes CA traffic on the 405 and 10 freeways look like the expressway.

In Florida it´s pretty much too late. You see almost as many NY, NJ, and MA license plates down here as you do FL markers. Half the population on the FL east coast sound like extras on a Sopranos episode, and they all bring their peculiar brand of politics (as well as their horrible driving) with them.

They´re fleeing the Northeast but trying to turn this area into what they just fled, little realizing that it was those very same policies that made their home states so unliveable in the first place.

These people ain´t got the sense God gave a chicken...

When someone reads the article and looks at the map, they’ll see that five of the states with the highest outbound numbers are Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Kansas and Utah.

Surprisingly for some, California is balanced as to inbounds and outbounds.

United Van Lines is not even in the top ten list of California moving companies.

The other 99% of California moving companies are reporting an exodus out of the state.

Idaho is actually the 2017 destination state.

California will soon haveonly the homeless and the illegals as residents.

You see what Jerry Brown is doing to the people of California with his new taxes?

And don´t bother moving to Oregon either. There is no housing here.

Vermont isn´t doing that well either. The state has been losing 1500-2000 people a year, due to taxes, the high cost of housing, energy, and lack of high-paying jobs. Most of the inbounds are snowbirds, not workers. College graduates and retirees are moving to areas with better job prospects and lower costs. The state is driving large employers out, and New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and New York are drawing customers away from Vermont businesses with lower prices and sales taxes.

National pro-life groups and religious freedom advocates are celebrating the Senate’s confirmation of Mike Pompeo as secretary of state. Pompeo’s confirmation Thursday is a “pro-life victory,” states the leader of the Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List). “Mike Pompeo will make an outstanding Secretary of State,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser in a press statement. “He is strongly pro-life and committed to upholding the dignity of every human being as America’s top diplomat.” Dannenfelser added: The State Department is the first line of enforcement for President Trump’s pro-life agenda in foreign policy, from preventing American tax dollars from being

Protesters today vowed to disrupt Donald Trump´s visit to Britain on July 13 with mas protests. The US President will come to the UK for talks with Theresa May after travelling to Europe for a NATO summit. The confirmation of the working trip - which will not have all the pomp and ceremony of a state visit - comes after months of difficult wrangling between the White House and Downing Street over the plans. But it sparked immediate threats of protest as activists said they would ´take to the streets´ to vent their fury at his visit. Jeremy Corbyn-backing activist

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) will vote to confirm Ric Grenell as the next U.S. ambassador to Germany, ensuring the confirmation of what will be the highest-ranking ever openly gay person to serve the United States government. Grenell was nominated last year to the position by President Donald Trump. Grenell, who will be confirmed on the floor of the U.S. Senate on Thursday, will report directly to the Secretary of State. The previously highest-ranking openly gay official in government was Barack Obama-era Army Secretary Eric Fanning—who reported directly to the Secretary of Defense. Secretary of state nominee Mike Pompeo narrowly eked out an endorsement from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Monday after President Trump and a Democratic senator intervened at the last minute, all but guaranteeing that he will be confirmed by the full Senate later this week. Pompeo had seemed unlikely to secure a majority of the panel’s support. But Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who had pledged to oppose him, tweeted moments before the vote that Trump had talked with him and changed his mind. Paul’s key concern had been that Pompeo, currently director of the CIA, would not support Trump’s

There are more than 10 professors affiliated with the Democratic Party for every faculty member who is a registered Republican, according to a new study. Mitchell Langbert, an associate professor of business management at Brooklyn College, reviewed the party affiliations of 8,688 tenure-track, Ph.D.-holding professors at 51 of the top 60 liberal arts colleges listed in U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 rankings. Nearly 60 percent of all faculty members were registered as either a Republican or a Democrat, and of that sample, there were 10.4 times as many Democrats as Republicans. “The political registration of full-time, Ph.D.-holding professors in

Before President Trump tapped White House physician Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson to be Veterans Affairs secretary, he had been nominated to receive a second star in the Navy. At the time there was a question as to whether Jackson would receive his promotion before retiring to head the VA as a civilian. Now there’s a question whether he will get the promotion at all, and whether he will continue in his current assignment as the president’s personal doctor. The 2018 Winter Olympics were, at times, used by athletes to vocalize their dissatisfaction with the Trump administration. Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn, figure skater Adam Rippon and freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy have all spoke out against the administration. They are among a large swath of about 60 Olympians who will not attend the White House reception this year. Chelsea Clinton took inspiration from the Duchess of Cambridge for how to manage the birth of her first child, a new book claims. She and her aides ´studied´ how the British royal family had handled the birth of Prince George in 2013 in order to prepare for her own first baby, who was born a year later. Bill and Hillary Clinton´s only daughter Chelsea, as well as her staff, noted how press was handled and how the Duchess of Cambridge handled herself, and used it as a template for themselves, the book claims. On the domestic and foreign fronts, the Trump administration has prompted economic growth and restored U.S. deterrence. Polls show increased consumer confidence, and in some, Trump himself has gained ground. Yet good news is bad news to the Resistance and its strange continued efforts to stop an elected president in a way it failed to do in the 2016 election. Indeed, the aim of the so-called Resistance to Donald J. Trump is ending Trump’s presidency by any means necessary before the 2020 election. Or, barring that, it seeks to so delegitimize him that he becomes presidentially impotent. It has been only

It would trigger a crisis, possibly even impeachment,” Hatch said in a Wall Street Journal opinion piece published Tuesday night. “It would threaten many of the administration’s accomplishments and make continued progress virtually impossible.” In his op-ed, Hatch endorsed the proposed legislation aimed at protect Mueller from being fired by Trump, or, for that matter, any president from firing a counsel appointed to investigating potential presidential misconduct.
