The Iran that Obama helped keep in place

Protests against Iran’s theocratic regime enter their seventh day today. The country´s chief cleric, who dominates the violent and oppressive regime, has tried to blame foreign agents for the courageous public display of dissent. But the truth, as the old tyrant well knows, is that the government that he and his fellow mullahs oversee has created woeful economic conditions, fostered corruption, and unintentionally nurtured a desire among young people (who account for the majority of the Iranian population) for freedom. Iranians have seen more than enough of their nation’s wealth poured into terrorism abroad while their own needs are neglected. The incompetent,

The mafia would do a better job of running Iran. As long as they got a cut of the action, the people would be much better off.

Obama´s actions were not "mistakes". They were a deliberate attempt to support the mullahs and it worked for his 8 years in office.

Guided by Iranian born Valerie Jarrett, Obama sided with the Iranian government.

Trump will not make the same decision.

Hillary fundraiser causes a stink with the DNC

Just as Democratic donors thought they’d finally put away wallets for Hillary Clinton, she’s coming back to NYC for a fund-raiser for her nonprofit — while also creating a party stink by throwing the bash at the exact same time as an event for DNC chairman Tom Perez. Clinton will be in town on April 30 for her “Onward Together” organization, to support young political leaders. With great fanfare, Clinton announced in an email to her 2016 supporters that she is launching the Onward Together Leadership Council and that they could become charter members — in return for coughing up at least

An incident this week at a U.S. Air Force base in Northern California -- in which a vehicle burst into flames after crashing through the main gate -- is being treated as "an act of terrorism," according to a report. Authorities said a driver died, likely by igniting himself, after gaining “unauthorized access" to Travis Air Force Base in Solano County, about 55 miles northeast of San Francisco, on Wednesday night. There was no further threat to the base, where approximately 7,000 active military members and 3,700 civilians live and work, Air Force officials said. The FBI has also joined the investigation alongside

John Dowd resigned Thursday as one of President Trump´s personal lawyers, the latest sign of a shake-up within the president´s legal team as the Russia investigation enters a crucial stage. Dowd had been handling sensitive negotiations with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III over a possible interview with Trump. "John Dowd is a friend and has been a valuable member of our legal team. We will continue our ongoing representation of the President and our cooperation with the Office of Special Counsel," said a statement from Jay Sekulow, one of the president´s other lawyers. After Dowd´s resignation, Trump said that he remains committed

You’ve likely spent a thousand hours or more on Facebook over the past decade. Did you think that the energy-sucking servers holding your photos and hosting the groups dedicated to your high-school class and your neighborhood ran on good wishes? Did you think the company that has allowed you to consume news and opinion at no cost whatsoever to you was doing so out of the goodness of its collective heart? Did you think . . . it was free? Did you really not know that your agreement with Facebook was that Mark Zuckerberg would provide you with hours a day of enjoyment

Hillary Clinton’s Woman-Bashing Is Why
Women Find Feminism So Distasteful

Why are so many women reluctant to call themselves feminists? It might be that widespread hostility toward men defines modern feminist movement. Certainly that was the theme of Hillary Clinton’s remarks earlier this month, when she blamed her 2016 presidential loss on husbands pressuring white women to vote for Donald Trump. Clinton has since been widely criticized and apologized. But her comments suggest so much that is wrong with today’s feminist movement: it’s both anti-male and anti-woman at the same time. Clinton said “all of a sudden white women, who were going to vote for me, and frankly standing up to the

The D.C. bubble’s credulous embrace

HILLSBORO, Ohio- The predictable reaction from some media quarters directed at President Trump over the firing of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, including outlandish comparisons to the Saturday Night Massacre of Watergate days, is reflective of the Big Media echo chamber and the isolation inside the D.C. bubble. Outside Washington, and especially in Trump country, the whole FBI mess is viewed a little differently. For the longest time, James B. Comey, as director of the FBI, portrayed himself as the world’s tallest Boy Scout, and many in the media viewed him that way. Even when his decisions and actions were under

Mark Anthony Conditt, the man linked to the deadly bombings that rocked Austin, Texas, and surrounding areas over the past month, recorded a 25-minute-long "confession" to his crimes, police said late Wednesday. Officers located the recording, in which Conditt, 23, described creating seven devices, including one he blew up during the conflict with police, Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said at a news conference. The recording was made on a phone, which was found in the suspect´s possession following the confrontation. Conditt described the bombs "with a level of specificity," including their differences, Manley said. In the recording, the suspect

Hillary Clinton continues to attack President Trump while abroad, this time during an interview with a Dutch news network. During the interview, which took place on March 13, Clinton alleged that Trump is undermining the presidency in exchange for personal and familial gain. “He has undermined the office and used it to enrich himself and his family,” Clinton said. “Disregarded laws, ethical standards.” “He’s crossed into a territory of behavior and actions that are unpredictable, that are erratic, that are undermining the stability of the global order,” she continued. Clinton came under fire last week during a trip to India when she

BREAKING: President Trump signed the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill Friday despite an earlier threat to veto the legislation due to the lack of border wall funding and a fix for DACA. EARLIER STORY: President Trump sparked fears of an impending government shutdown Friday by threatening to veto a $1.3 trillion spending bill passed by Congress, citing the lack of a deal that would include protection for illegal immigrants brought to the country as children in return for funding for a wall. Trump tweeted that he was considering the veto, saying that recipients of the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood

Science fiction author Kim Stanley Robinson is one of the best-known names in a genre known for looking forward. However, not all writers in the genre look to the future for their ideas -- plenty are obsessed with moving backwards, from liberty back to tyranny. Robinson recently penned an op-ed in The Guardian that favors removing humans from most of the world, forcefully herding us all into cities. "The tendency of people to move to cities, either out of desire or perceived necessity, creates a great opportunity. If we managed urbanisation properly, we could nearly remove ourselves from a considerable percentage of

President Donald Trump yanked the government back to the brink of a shutdown on Friday morning with a tweet threatening “a VETO” of a $1.3 trillion spending bill that Congress had cleared just hours earlier. Trump’s declaration of a possible veto — citing the spending bill’s lack of full funding for his border wall and attention to undocumented immigrants known as Dreamers — comes as many lawmakers who would have to override his rejection or pass a stopgap funding measure are already on the way out of Washington for a two-week recess. The president’s top aides said Thursday he would

David Hogg has become the face of the Parkland high school shooting, eclipsing the tragic memories of the 17 victims who were murdered by Nicolas Cruz. Hogg has been rabidly elevated as a media celebrity by the mainstream press, who found a willing mouthpiece to push their anti-Second Amendment agenda. In a profanity-laced, rambling interview with The Outline, Hogg slammed the NRA and pro-Second Amendment politicians, calling them “sick f**kers.” (Video warning: language) The Outline hosts treated Hogg as if her were a Constitutional scholar and gun expert rolled into one. His answers proved, once again, he is neither. “It just makes

President Trump signed the 1.2 trillion dollar Omnibus bill today with open frustration over both the process and the product of that bill. (Snip) What wasn’t said was how the Republican and Democrat leadership worked together to force POTUS Trump’s hand and create a voter backlash they hope will fracture Mr. Trump’s base of support among millions of Americans. “How could he sign this bill?” said one Trump supporter on Twitter. “WTF??? This was the opposite of MAGA,” said another. “Trump just gave 1.2 trillion to the swamp,” was another comment. If the above reactions represent the feelings of a majority
