Where have you gone, Al Franken? A nation turns its Pervnado eyes to you. The answer? Nowhere. As we welcome in 2018, Minnesota’s discredited junior U.S. senator is still ensconced in the U.S. Capitol like a wet hair clump in a shower drain, employed by the people of Minnesota and paid in full by American taxpayers. That is until this coming Tuesday, January 2, 2018. That’s when the comedian turned cad turned politician turned pervert has pledged to resign his seat . . . and hopefully keep his mitts off other people’s seats to boot. Yet, Mr. Franken’s pending resignation,

There is no mystery surrounding when he will leave.
He will leave the Senate after being elected POTUS.

Franken was never remotely funny--his comedy partner Tom Davis was much the greater talent. To lecherous Al I would say, "Tuck your tail between your legs and get the hell out of there. Go bag your head. Vanish."

I will believe that Franken has resigned when I see his replacement taking the Oath of Office. Not before!

My comment to Franken IF he does resign:

"RIDDANCE!"

Not "Good Riddance", just "RIDDANCE!"

Pride goes before the fall.

A Franken predecessor, Paul Wellstone, campaigned that he´d only serve two terms. But when 2nd term was ending, he deemed himself too worthy to step down. Pride goes before the fall and his plane fell out of the sky.

Franken has always bee his own biggest fan; a fan of hot, bloviated narcissism. After leading Air America to financial ruin, he saw an opportunity to reclaim his home state of Minnesota so he moved back from the East Coast, ran for Senate, and poo-poohed all the historical anti-women behavior as being nothing more than satirical comedy. His engineered ballot recounts until he got just enough to win, made him feel invulnerable. We witnessed his cockiness in Senate hearings again and again. Pride goes before the fall. Now when he´d like a recount of those who called for his resignation - all he hears is crickets. Enjoy your swirl down the swamp drain, Alan Stuart Franken.

Even without the sexual stuff Franken has always exhibited the worst behaviors and attitudes which plague Leftists.....uppity, holier than thou, know it all, whoring out "Comedy" for political purposes and showing nothing but scorn for lesser humans who might disagree. I feel sure I could jump up out of this wheel chair given a chance to blacken his eye. So...in that sense he might be called inspirational.

Reminds me of the second act joke song in Pirates of Penzance when the police keep singing ´We go, we go´ and the Major General responds "But you DON´T go."

"Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough questioned President Trump´s weight on a White House physician report, stating if "that´s what 6-3, 239 pounds looks like, that´s a shock to me." The commentary comes one day after Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson concluded the president was in "excellent health" while also sharing that Trump tallied a perfect score on a cognitive test requested by the president. (Snip) The "Morning Joe" hosts have repeatedly called the president´s mental state into question on the program dating back to May, with Scarborough stating that Trump has "early-onset dementia." Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer’s (N.Y.) efforts to unify Democrats and prevent a shutdown are complicated by lawmakers with presidential hopes who are pushing for a hard-line stance against any short-term spending measure that doesn’t protect certain young immigrants from deportation. Senate Democrats such as Cory Booker of New Jersey, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Kamala Harris of California have signaled they will not support a short-term spending bill that leaves the fate of these immigrants, often called Dreamers, up in the air. All three potential presidential candidates, along with two others, Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders

MOSCOW — Even thermometers can´t keep up with the plunging temperatures in Russia´s remote Yakutia region, which hit minus 67 degrees Celsius (minus 88.6 degrees Fahrenheit) in some areas Tuesday. In Yakutia — a region of 1 million people about 3,300 miles (5,300 kilometers) east of Moscow — students routinely go to school even in minus 40 degrees. But school was canceled Tuesday throughout the region and police ordered parents to keep their children inside. This therapy session between NBA officials and players at All-Star weekend can’t come soon enough. As USA TODAY Sports reported last week, the sustained tension between the league’s referees and so many of its players has become such a concern that they will have a meeting in Los Angeles next month. Saturday night brought more flare-ups, as the Toronto Raptors were incensed at late calls in their loss against the Golden State Warriors. Raptors star DeMar DeRozan said it felt like they were playing “five on eight,” a comment that will likely bring a fine from the league. The Dallas Mavericks’

(Snip) Trump has denied saying "anything derogatory" about Haitians, and said he did not use the vulgar language that has been reported. And his weekly address to the nation, released Monday, was dedicated to King. WASHINGTON- President Donald Trump relentlessly congratulates himself for the healthy state of the U.S. economy, with its steady growth, low unemployment, busier factories and confident consumers. But in the year since Trump´s inauguration, most analysts tend to agree on this: The economy remains essentially the same sturdy one he inherited from Barack Obama.Growth has picked up, but it´s not yet clear if it can sustain a faster expansion. Hiring and wage growth actually slowed slightly from Obama´s last year in office. Consumers and businesses are much more optimistic, but their spending has yet to move meaningfully higher. Republicans are slamming Democratic Sen. Cory Booker for “mansplaining” to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen in a sharp and one-sided exchange Wednesday before a Senate committee. The New Jersey lawmaker blasted Nielsen´s "silence and amnesia" after failing to get the response he sought on her recollection of statements President Trump made in a meeting last week. Booker´s hostile tone prompted Republican National Committee Rapid Response Director Michael Ahrens to invoke the millennial term for males talking down to women.

A crazed, bug-eyed Cory Booker, junior senator from New Jersey, blasted Department of Homeland Security secretary Kristjen Nielsen during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday on immigration. Booker became so unhinged in his staged outrage that he repeatedly threatened Nielsen, with clenched fists pointed in her direction. Equal to Booker´s overt violation of Nielsen´s right to be treated without hostility and intimidation was the deranged content of his tirade. Nielsen had stated earlier she did not hear the president say the "s-hole" word at last week´s White House meeting on DACA. Booker went ballistic and accused Nielsen of covering up

Men can now look forward to a liberated future of wearing dresses. One such fashion designer, Alejandro Gomez Palomo of Spain, is helping to rush in that new era. According to the 25-year-old Palomo, whose public appearance looks as if Dracula spent a weekend at Liberace´s house, gender fluidity is a way of life he hopes that future men can share. In an interview with AFP, Palomo likened his fashion revolution to the ones ushered by Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent in the 20th century. Three-quarters of the members of a federally chartered board advising the National Park Service abruptly quit Monday night out of frustration that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke had refused to meet with them or convene a single meeting last year. The resignation of nine out of 12 National Park System Advisory Board members leaves the federal government without a functioning body to designate national historic or natural landmarks. It also underscores the extent to which federal advisory bodies have become marginalized under the Trump administration. In May 2017, Zinke suspended all outside committees while his staff reviewed their composition and work. In a
