The newly engaged royal couple, Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan Markle, 36, enjoyed a wonderful Christmas together in England, but not without a bit of family drama! Thomas Markle Jr., Meghan´s half-brother, is not so thrilled with his future brother-in-law, who recently referred to the royals as, "the family, I suppose, that [Meghan´s] never had." "She´s had a really good family,´ he told DailyMail.com at his Oregon home on Dec. 29. "We were as close as we could be, as tight as we could be, that´s what we were." Their father, Thomas Markle, split from Meghan´s mom, Doria Radlan, when she

The father has since run off to Mexico. ´´Estranged half-sister´´ of Meghan is also angling for 15 seconds of fame. No wonder old-time royals are searching for a fainting couch.

This marriage would be a disaster for the Royal family! Hope it will not take place - if it does it will end badly and quickly.

I think Harry will find a way to bow out gracefully. He must know by now that Meghan is not a good fit for his family just like he isn´t a good fit with her "extended" family.

It is fortunate that Harry is not in close line to the throne Bad, bad judgement---which he has demonstrated throughout his teenage and young adult years.

I sense another Andrew and Fergie-type disastrous marriage. She was totally unsuitable for the royal family, and embarrassed them repeatedly. Now she´s been pensioned off and kept at arm´s length. She´s minimally tolerated only because she´s the mother of Andrew´s two princess daughters. Otherwise, she´d have been dropped as only the royals can do.

There is no upside for Harry to publically disparage his lady’s family members who he has never even met or knows much about. Not smart at all. That should give you a hint why so many English girls backed off their involvement with Harry.

The Windsors have big problems although they all live in such a gilded world I doubt they are even aware of it. Charles is the way he is because he was raised a spoiled prince. His hardly working sons aren’t much better in that department. The Queen is the magic that is left of the Royal family. When she goes, its going to be interesting watching the rest of them justifying their existence as it has been. England has changed drastically and is in terrible trouble as a country. They embrace hatred of Israel and the Jewish people as they fully support the “palestinian” point of view. They are going down the drain for that reason alone.

Markle has relatives eager to get 15 minutes of fame. The press has been chasing each of them trying to encourage them to sabotage Markle. The upper crust is horrified Harry chose an American and for some of them, there need be no other reason. For the old nasty guard in the Firm, they fear a dark-skinned baby with red hair and blue eyes. It would serve them all right if the child turned out to be the beauty of the bunch too.

If Harry likes Obozo, then his judgement is a bit in question. I really don´t see this marriage going well and I hope he comes to his senses before children are involved. I also hope that the Palace is working on the Pre-Nup papers. We wouldn´t want this sorted out on Jerry Springer, now would we?

Washington - With hours to go before a midnight deadline for Congress to fund the government or shut it down, most Americans say avoiding a shutdown is more important than passing a bill to maintain the program allowing people brought to the US illegally as children to stay, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. (Snip) Still, 56% overall say approving a budget agreement to avoid a shutdown is more important than continuing the DACA program, while just 34% choose DACA over a shutdown. Democrats break narrowly in favor of DACA -- 49% say it´s more important vs.

Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer’s (N.Y.) efforts to unify Democrats and prevent a shutdown are complicated by lawmakers with presidential hopes who are pushing for a hard-line stance against any short-term spending measure that doesn’t protect certain young immigrants from deportation. Senate Democrats such as Cory Booker of New Jersey, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Kamala Harris of California have signaled they will not support a short-term spending bill that leaves the fate of these immigrants, often called Dreamers, up in the air. All three potential presidential candidates, along with two others, Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders

In Yakutia — a region of 1 million people about 3,300 miles (5,300 kilometers) east of Moscow — students routinely go to school even in minus 40 degrees. But school was canceled Tuesday throughout the region and police ordered parents to keep their children inside. After leaving office, President Ronald Reagan created the Ronald Reagan Freedom Award to recognize individuals who have fought to spread liberty worldwide. Nancy Reagan continued the tradition after her husband’s death, and in 2008 she bestowed the honor on human rights icon Natan Sharansky, who credited Reagan’s strong defense of freedom for his own survival in Soviet gulags. Reagan recognized that as leader of the free world, his words carried enormous weight, and he used it to inspire the unprecedented spread of democracy around the world. Obama’s current office, which is run by former de facto President Valerie Jarrett, is just a mile or so from the White House. It is at that location one sees a daily procession of donors, political operatives, party affiliates (BOTH Democrat and Republican) media friends (of which there are many) and more shadowy figures representing a myriad of foreign interests.
