Economist Edward N. Woolf published a paper that shows that under Barack Obama, the wealthiest 1% increased their share of America´s wealth to 40%. The Washington Post blamed President Trump for what Obama did.Hilarious. From the Washington Post: The richest 1 percent now owns more of the country’s wealth than at any time in the past 50 years The paper is owned by the richest man on Earth. More from the Post: The wealthiest 1 percent of American households own 40 percent of the country´s wealth, according to a new paper by economist Edward N. Woolf. That share is higher

Comments:
And according to Woolf’s data, it all happened on Obie’s watch.

That´s how communism works - great for those on top of the pile; really crummy for all the rest.

And, to flip this over, the 1 percent of those in our awesome military make out, not quite as well.

Not really a surprise considering the top 1% got Obama elected. They controlled him. They control Washington. That is who they work for.

Whenever Washington claims they are doing something for the poor or the middle class, don´t believe it. They only work for that wealthy 1% that can buy them.

Washington is all about politics, control, and power through the accumulation of wealth and influence. That is how it works.

That three trillion in stimulus bucks had to go somewhere. Most of us do not have piggy banks large enough but GM, Solyndra and Tesla did.

We were unfortunately put there by Bush, Bernanke and Paulson first. Though yes, Obama and his cohorts, took what Bernanke and Paulson gifted them and ran much further with it. The greatest transference, or theft, of wealth in the history of humankind.
Speaking of theft, is Paulson and Obama´s buddy Corzine still walking around free?

We knew that. That´s why we voted for Trump. Trumps election was about jobs and pay.(And immigration is part of the jobs and pay equation.) And then they told us unemployment was back to normal when everyone around me still didn´t have a job. The MSM/Dems were telling us our lack of jobs was the new normal. In less than a year Trump proved nothing was normal about it.

I equate the MSM´s cover up of unemployment during Obama as similar to the cover up of the Soviet purges. If we had started starving to death in massive numbers would the MSM have even covered it? Would they have denied it was happening?

I didn´t care about Trump´s uncouth approach when his election meant the difference between the ability to buy food and having to beg for food.

Interesting. We all knew it was bad, we didn´t know how bad until now.

It is the 1% that has been fighting for open borders so they can have their cheap nannies, housekeepers, and gardeners.

Millennials are proving themselves to be a giant recruiting headache for Dallas police and fire departments. Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall and Dallas Fire Chief David Coatney gave a pointed assessment of the generation Monday while discussing recruitment efforts before the city council, saying that shortages of police and firemen correlate with a millennial culture defined by impatience and unrealistic expectations. “We have nights, weekends and holidays — not attractive to millennials who want all days off and to be the chief in six months,” Ms. Hall said, a local Fox News affiliate reported Monday. “We recognize that is a challenge.” Chief Coatney

The Justice Department is refusing to reveal details of the process that led up to former FBI Director Robert Mueller being granted an ethics waiver to serve as special counsel investigating the Trump campaign´s alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 presidential election. In response to a POLITICO Freedom of Information Act request, the agency released a one-sentence memo Friday confirming that Mueller was granted a conflict-of-interest waiver in order to assume the politically sensitive post. The waiver is believed to relate to Mueller´s work in recent years as a partner at the WilmerHale law firm, which also represented former Trump campaign

The House Natural Resources Committee has got Patagonia’s number. No, Patagonia is not the savior of America’s protected wild spaces. It’s just another greedster corporation with an overpriced logo, trying to make a fast buck by jumping on the anti-Trump bandwagon while parading its ‘eco’ credentials. According to the Hill: “The assertion that ‘the president stole your land’ is designed to mislead and terrify the uninformed. Their deception speaks volumes about their contempt for rural Americans in Utah,” the committee said in a statement. “Of course, Patagonia, a self-interested corporation like any other, knows the truth, but they don’t care. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) faced criticism for saying that President Donald Trump “slut-shamed” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) with a non-sexual insult, Tuesday. After President Donald Trump made a post on Twitter claiming that Sen. Gillibrand “would do anything” for campaign contributions, Sen. Warren made her own post accusing Trump of “slut-shaming.” “Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand?” asked Sen. Warren in her post. “Do you know who you’re picking a fight with? Good luck with that, @realDonaldTrump. Nevertheless, #shepersisted.” Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand? Do you know who you´re picking a fight with? Good

Fox News put its credibility on the line when it released a new poll on Monday that shows liberal Democrat Doug Jones leads conservative Republican Roy Moore by 10 points, 50 percent to 40 percent, in tomorrow’s special election for the U.S. Senate in Alabama. The contrast between the results reported by Fox News and every other recent major poll could not be sharper. Earlier on Monday, an Emerson Poll was released that shows Moore up by nine points, 53 percent to 44 percent. The five other most recent polls featured in the Real Clear Politics Average of Polls all show Moore in

PARIS — The United States may have withdrawn from the Paris climate change accord, but on Tuesday dozens of world leaders and philanthropists met to find solutions to the swiftly warming planet — and send a message of resolve to the White House. (Snip) Some new commitments were made. The World Bank, for instance, announced that it would stop financing projects that involved oil and gas exploration beginning in 2019. The “One Planet” summit will focus on practical ways to continue meeting climate goals without the participation of the U.S. government. So the main emphasis is on private financing for climate initiatives

DEVELOPING…Democrat Doug Jones has defeated Roy Moore in Alabama’s Senate election, according to a projection from the Fox News Decision Desk.ORIGINAL STORY…The hard-fought Alabama Senate race between Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones remains too close to call, though a Fox News voter analysis shows the Democratic nominee enjoying a lead over his GOP rival. Jones’ competitiveness is a remarkable development in a deep red state that reflects just how badly Moore has been hurt by a sex scandal. But the race is still fluid. With 87 percent of precincts reporting, Jones and Moore both had 49.2 percent, according to

On Monday, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour President Donald Trump should resign over the sexual misconduct allegations against him. Gillibrand said, “President Trump should resign. These allegations are credible, they are numerous. I’ve heard these women’s testimony, and many of them are heartbreaking. And President Trump should resign his position.” She added, “Whether he will ever hold himself accountable is something you really can’t hold your breath for. And so, Congress should have hearings. They should do their investigation. They should have appropriate investigations of his behavior and hold him accountable.”

Franken announced last Thursday that he would be resigning “in the coming weeks” after eight different women accused him of groping or forcibly kissing them. “The timing of Franken’s resignation remains unclear, as is his motive in delaying it,” New York Magazine’s Ed Kilgore noted at the time. Franken has yet to offer any more specificity about when he’s going to follow through in resigning. Franken’s office did not return multiple requests for comment on the subject. A supposed "rising star" at the State Department has resigned in anger over President Trump´s and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson´s policies. Elizabeth Shackelford gave her resignation letter to the left-leaning Foreign Policy magazine, which was, of course, all too happy to publish it. Shackelford´s letter says she believes the new administration has abandoned human rights as a priority, and shows disdain for the State Department´s diplomatic work. "I have deep respect for the career Foreign and Civil Service staff who, despite the stinging disrespect this Administration has shown our profession, continue the struggle to keep our foreign policy on the positive
