Intrigue grows over what
sparked the attack on Rand Paul

Washington Post, by Justin Jouvenal

Original Article

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Rand Paul was on the verge of becoming a powerful senator and the nation’s leading libertarian. His neighbor was a successful doctor and Kennedy-style Democrat who favored nationalized medicine. They might have sparred over health care or taxes, but an acquaintance of both said they stood in their yards roughly a decade ago shouting at each other over the grass clippings Paul’s mower had shot on Rene Boucher’s property. “?‘I ask him, I tell him and he won’t pay attention,’?” the acquaintance, Bill Goodwin, recalls Boucher saying after the argument. “?‘One of these days.’?” That day may have come

I get along great with all my neighbors but as a matter of due diligence and reasonable caution I still maintain a turret mounted 50 cal. on my riding mower. Can´t be too careful.
Better than broken ribs and doubles as a wicked leaf blower.

WaPo shows how it can absolutely torture an article to mean whatever WaPo wants it to mean.

Considering the WaPo´s past reporting on this situation, I suspect fewer facts and a great deal of low-quality creative writing.

The Washington Compost is still flogging the story that Boucher´s attack was over grass clippings.

It could be much simpler. Boucher behaved - and looks - like a wacko. He may simply have a screw loose and directed his mental case actions toward the nearest person who ticked him off. Paul.

The WaPo knows this has to be about grass clippings vs. politics. A local law enforcement issue vs. a federal offense.

But can one attack a U. S. Senator for any reason? Boucher caused Paul grave bodily harm.

Lets flip it over and view it as an assassination attempt - similar to the convenient death of Scalia - since every vote counts in the senate... And yes, communists (leftards/democrats) are quite capable of doing that for power.

Boucher needs some good old boys to have a talk with him; some waterboarding and electrical stimulation and he just might remember the actual why and who and so forth...

BS excuse of lawn care disagreement put out by the violent attacker and his apologists in the ComPost.

I have no doubt that this was political, at it´s root.

Donald Trump Jr. on Wednesday cited attorney-client privilege to avoid telling lawmakers about a conversation he had with his father, President Donald Trump, after news broke this summer that the younger Trump — and top campaign brass — had met with Russia-connected individuals in Trump Tower during the 2016 campaign. Though neither Trump Jr. nor the president is an attorney, Trump Jr. told the House Intelligence Committee that there was a lawyer in the room during the discussion, according to the committee’s top Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff of California. Schiff said he didn’t think it was a legitimate invocation of attorney-client

TIME has named The Silence Breakers, the individuals who set off a national reckoning over the prevalence of sexual harassment, as its 2017 Person of the Year. The magazine´s editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal revealed the selection Wednesday on TODAY along with the cover, a composite group photo that includes actress Ashley Judd, singer Taylor Swift, former Uber engineer Susan Fowler and a woman whose face cannot be seen. "The galvanizing actions of the women on our cover…along with those of hundreds of others, and of many men as well, have unleashed one of the highest-velocity shifts in our culture since the 1960s,"

Fans of former “Today” show co-host Ann Curry are reveling in Matt Lauer’s downfall. Lauer, axed Wednesday over sexual misconduct allegations, was seen as a major force behind Curry’s ouster as co-anchor in 2012. “Ann Karma has paid Matt a visit today. I’ve always believed he orchestrated your removal from The Today Show. I pray we will see you back on TV soon. Be BLESSED. ??????” wrote user Len_71 on Curry’s Instagram account Wednesday, commenting on an unrelated photo of shellfish posted in October. “Everyone go to NBC and advocate to bring Ann back in place of matt,” added user dheumm. Lena Dunham may be the first person to fabricate details of her alleged rape, then proclaim all women’s claims need to be believed, and then publicly accuse a young woman of lying about having been raped. Finally, the star and creator of “Girls” has been exposed as the empty vessel she is. “Girls” was never the smart, generational criticism Dunham always claimed; really, it was just a smuttier, younger “Sex and the City.” Nor is there as much daylight between Dunham and her shallow, entitled character Hannah Horvath as she’d have us believe. “I think I might be the voice of a generation,”

After weeks of continuously unfolding abuse scandals, men have become, quite literally, unbelievable. What any given man might say about gender politics and how he treats women are separate and unrelated phenomena. Liberal or conservative, feminist or chauvinist, woke or benighted, young or old, found on Fox News or in The New Republic, a man’s stated opinions have next to no relationship to behavior. Through sheer bulk, the string of revelations about men from Bill Cosby to Roger Ailes to Harvey Weinstein to Louis C.K. to Al Franken and, this week, to Charlie Rose and John Lasseter, have forced men to

DEVELOPING…Democrat Doug Jones has defeated Roy Moore in Alabama’s Senate election, according to a projection from the Fox News Decision Desk.ORIGINAL STORY…The hard-fought Alabama Senate race between Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones remains too close to call, though a Fox News voter analysis shows the Democratic nominee enjoying a lead over his GOP rival. Jones’ competitiveness is a remarkable development in a deep red state that reflects just how badly Moore has been hurt by a sex scandal. But the race is still fluid. With 87 percent of precincts reporting, Jones and Moore both had 49.2 percent, according to

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski argued President Trump’s tweet about Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) constitutes sexual harassment and that people who work around the president and don’t try to get him to delete the tweet don’t care about the country or women. Brzezinski said, “I just want to say something, beyond the fact that it is reprehensible that the president of the United States would say something so derogatory and disgusting about a woman, we’re not surprised, Mr. President. You do it all the time. You treat women terribly, and you treat the women around

President Trump attacked Sen. Schumer and someone who would come to my office ´begging´ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump,” the president wrote. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”

On Monday, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour President Donald Trump should resign over the sexual misconduct allegations against him. Gillibrand said, “President Trump should resign. These allegations are credible, they are numerous. I’ve heard these women’s testimony, and many of them are heartbreaking. And President Trump should resign his position.” She added, “Whether he will ever hold himself accountable is something you really can’t hold your breath for. And so, Congress should have hearings. They should do their investigation. They should have appropriate investigations of his behavior and hold him accountable.”

Franken announced last Thursday that he would be resigning “in the coming weeks” after eight different women accused him of groping or forcibly kissing them. “The timing of Franken’s resignation remains unclear, as is his motive in delaying it,” New York Magazine’s Ed Kilgore noted at the time. Franken has yet to offer any more specificity about when he’s going to follow through in resigning. Franken’s office did not return multiple requests for comment on the subject. Franken begrudgingly offered his resignation after 35 Democratic senators called on him to do so, three weeks after he was first accused

A supposed "rising star" at the State Department has resigned in anger over President Trump´s and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson´s policies. Elizabeth Shackelford gave her resignation letter to the left-leaning Foreign Policy magazine, which was, of course, all too happy to publish it. Shackelford´s letter says she believes the new administration has abandoned human rights as a priority, and shows disdain for the State Department´s diplomatic work. "I have deep respect for the career Foreign and Civil Service staff who, despite the stinging disrespect this Administration has shown our profession, continue the struggle to keep our foreign policy on the positive
