John Conyers´ Resignation Is 50 Years Too Late
Investor´s Business Daily, by Larry Elder

Original Article

Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., hospitalized for an undefined stress-related illness, announced his retirement after serving more than 50 years in the House. Two other Conyers — a son and a great-nephew — immediately announced plans to vie for the elder Conyers´ seat. The great-nephew said, "His doctor advised him that the rigor of another campaign would be too much for him just in terms of his health." Despite his sudden retirement, Conyers "vehemently" denies all accusations that he ever committed sexual harassment. "My legacy can´t be compromised or diminished in any way by what we are going through now," Conyers said

I would so like to comment on this issue but I would get cuffed and stuffed by the Taste Police and lose my license for ever.

Trust us, John, your legacy is forever. A vile and evil racist who thought he was above everything. So happy that KARMA finally had its way with you. Hopefully, the good people of your District won´t make the same mistake again.

Outstanding article by Larry Elder in which he succinctly recounts and sums up the actual consequences of the race hustlers like Conyers as well as the non-Black Democrat leaders who intentionally hook millions of Americans on generational government dependency in exchange for their votes. Elder also discusses the misguided do-gooders in academia whose affirmative action admissions policies have left many Black students with lower self-esteem and no degree.

Poor old fossil Conyers was an older version of Maxene Waters and other people of color, that couldn´t quite cut the mustard of/in Politics. They all showed their ignorance and relied on their electorates ignorance for their longevity in Congress?

Consumers Win With Upcoming
FCC ´Net Neutrality´ Vote
Investor´s Business Daily, by Jesse Hathaway    Original Article

The Federal Communications Commission will soon vote to undo net neutrality, an Obama-era power grab. Despite many claims to the contrary, this move by the FCC would be the right decision for consumers and end the agency´s micromanagement of the internet. Analysts expect the FCC on Dec. 14 to roll back a 2015 policy called the Open Internet Order, in which the FCC determined it possesses the legal authority under the Telecommunications Act of 1934 to regulate internet service providers (ISPs) using rules intended for phone companies and electric companies. The rules, commonly referred to as "net neutrality rules," were

Killing Off The Polar Bears

Climate Change: It´s a heart-rending video: The National Geographic tape shows a plainly starving, shockingly thin polar bear rummaging for food. It´s near death. The tragic scene went viral on the internet. "When scientists say bears are going extinct, I want people to realize what it looks like," said SeaLegacy photographer Paul Nicklen, whose video of the bear was later shared online by National Geographic. And, of course, the media wasted no time in fixing blame: global warming. The New York Times came right out and said it: "Experts and environmentalists say the broad answer — however controversial and nuanced it may be

The Trump-Russia ´Dossier´ Scandal Deepens

Election Meddling: With every new revelation, the "dossier" on President Trump, which got the entire Trump-Russia-collusion story going, looks more and more scandalous. Not because of what it reveals about Trump, but what it is revealing about behind-the-scenes efforts to ruin his presidency. The latest twist involves a senior Justice Department official who was just demoted for his connection to it. When the existence of the now-discredited dossier first came to light, it was described simply as information compiled by a former British intelligence operative with a high degree of credibility in the spy community. The fact that a two-page

The Secret Tax Hike On Investors
In The Senate´s Tax Reform Plan

Tax Reform: Will the tax reform now being readied for takeoff hit some investors hard? It just might. And it´s a lesson in why simplicity and equal treatment in tax reform is so important. The current tax plan in the Senate would make it tougher for holders of long-term capital gains in the stock market to minimize their tax liability, thanks to an obscure proposed change in accounting rules. The Senate proposal would require those who own shares in a company and who subsequently wish to sell those shares to sell the oldest ones in the portfolio first — an idea known

Job Creators Are Collateral Damage
In GOP´s Vain Attempt To Be ´Fair´

When it comes to tax policy, each side plays its part. Republicans overstate the growth implications of tax reform, and Democrats accuse them of favoring the rich. When the New York Times´ Michelle Goldberg recently described the proposed GOP tax bill as "wretched," and certain to make "the rich richer and the poor poorer," the refrain was so trite that it was difficult to get even a little bit riled up. This is what the Democrats always say about GOP tax legislation. The left likes to talk about fairness. But, fairness is inherently subjective. Boosting your taxes may seem fair to me, and

Media Bias: In the span of a few days, two major news outlets came out with huge Trump/Russia bombshells that blew up in their own faces. In both cases, the error involved getting something as simple as a date wrong. CNN was in a frenzy on Friday over an apparent scoop by reporter Manu Raju, who claimed that an email sent to President Trump, Donald Trump Jr, and others on the campaign — and dated Sept. 4, 2016 — offered Trump access to purloined WikiLeaks documents. The story, posted on CNN´s website at 8 a.m. and carried the headline: "Exclusive: Email shows

Trump´s ´Inclusive´ Jobs Boom

Jobs: With 228,000 jobs created in November, joblessness at a 17-year low of 4.1% and wages rising, it can no longer really be doubted: Donald Trump´s relentless focus on tax cuts, deregulation and draining the swamp is great for job growth. Even some normally critical media now admit the economy´s underlying shift: "The American job market is the strongest it´s been in a decade, and arguably the strongest since 2000," wrote The New York Times on Friday. The Times is right. And the change is noteworthy, especially when viewed year-over-year. Even though the workforce expanded by just under 1.1 million workers in the

DEVELOPING…Democrat Doug Jones has defeated Roy Moore in Alabama’s Senate election, according to a projection from the Fox News Decision Desk.ORIGINAL STORY…The hard-fought Alabama Senate race between Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones remains too close to call, though a Fox News voter analysis shows the Democratic nominee enjoying a lead over his GOP rival. Jones’ competitiveness is a remarkable development in a deep red state that reflects just how badly Moore has been hurt by a sex scandal. But the race is still fluid. With 87 percent of precincts reporting, Jones and Moore both had 49.2 percent, according to

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski argued President Trump’s tweet about Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) constitutes sexual harassment and that people who work around the president and don’t try to get him to delete the tweet don’t care about the country or women. Brzezinski said, “I just want to say something, beyond the fact that it is reprehensible that the president of the United States would say something so derogatory and disgusting about a woman, we’re not surprised, Mr. President. You do it all the time. You treat women terribly, and you treat the women around

The family of the alleged ISIS-inspired Port Authority bomber said they were “heartbroken” by the attack on Monday and blasted law enforcement agencies for what they claimed were heavy-handed tactics by investigators. “We are heartbroken by the violence that was targeted at our city today and by the allegations being made against a member of our family,” said the statement read by Albert Fox Cahn, the Legal Director for the NY Chapter Council for Islamic Relations. “But we’re also outraged by the behavior of the law enforcement officials who held children as small as 4 years old out in the

President Trump attacked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) in a sexually suggestive tweet Tuesday morning that implied Gillibrand would do just about anything for money, prompting a swift and immediate backlash. “Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Charles E. Schumer and someone who would come to my office ´begging´ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump,” the president wrote. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”

On Monday, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour President Donald Trump should resign over the sexual misconduct allegations against him. Gillibrand said, “President Trump should resign. These allegations are credible, they are numerous. I’ve heard these women’s testimony, and many of them are heartbreaking. And President Trump should resign his position.” She added, “Whether he will ever hold himself accountable is something you really can’t hold your breath for. And so, Congress should have hearings. They should do their investigation. They should have appropriate investigations of his behavior and hold him accountable.”

Franken announced last Thursday that he would be resigning “in the coming weeks” after eight different women accused him of groping or forcibly kissing them. “The timing of Franken’s resignation remains unclear, as is his motive in delaying it,” New York Magazine’s Ed Kilgore noted at the time. Franken has yet to offer any more specificity about when he’s going to follow through in resigning. Franken’s office did not return multiple requests for comment on the subject. Franken begrudgingly offered his resignation after 35 Democratic senators called on him to do so, three weeks after he was first accused

A supposed "rising star" at the State Department has resigned in anger over President Trump´s and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson´s policies. Elizabeth Shackelford gave her resignation letter to the left-leaning Foreign Policy magazine, which was, of course, all too happy to publish it. Shackelford´s letter says she believes the new administration has abandoned human rights as a priority, and shows disdain for the State Department´s diplomatic work. "I have deep respect for the career Foreign and Civil Service staff who, despite the stinging disrespect this Administration has shown our profession, continue the struggle to keep our foreign policy on the positive
