James Van Der Beek: ‘I’ve had my
ass grabbed by older, powerful men’

New York Post, by Lia Eustachewich

James Van Der Beek has come forward as a victim of sexual harassment, saying he’s had “my ass grabbed by older, powerful men.” The actor made the stunning disclosure early Thursday morning in a series of tweets about Harvey Weinstein’s sex scandal. “I’ve had my ass grabbed by older, powerful men, I’ve had them corner me in inappropriate sexual conversations when I was much younger…” Van Der Beek wrote, adding, “I understand the unwarranted shame, powerlessness & inability to blow the whistle. There’s a power dynamic that feels impossible to overcome.” The 40-year-old father of four rose to fame as Dawson Leery

Comments:
Homosexual Hollywood sex pests also are being dragged into the light, although prior accusations by Corey Feldman and Corey Haim (one of whom is deceased), and also reports of poolside drug-fueled orgies with young boys, never gained much traction in the media.

Consider also that when Hollywood types lecture us about "rape culture" and abuses of power, they do so through their own lens. And very few of these brave ones came forward before it was safe to do so.

Dang, when I was young and good-looking, no one, I mean NO ONE, grabbed my ass. I must be the only person left in the world who has nothing to report in that regard. I got hit on plenty, but never grabbed. I´m starting to feel left out. Are we going to have to hear from everyone in Hollywood before this is all over?

It is starting to sound more like "hey look at me, I´m here too, please pay attention to me." than anything else.

Grabbing a 240 lb. married guy by the privates with the wife there takes a real sense of being "untouchable"! (no pun intended)

It is long past time to start naming names. No more titillation gentlemen. Either fish or cut bait.

Maybe now that more of this is coming out, Corey Feldman will finally not feel so alone and he can start talking facts. Time to clean out the other swamp.

They are ALL PIGS there. Van Der Beek shut his mouth because he had his hand on some other young woman or man´s behind. They are ALL pigs. Sainted Spielberg requires a "lewinsky" to be in his movies. Not a single person there deserves respect.

Corey Feldman and Corey Haim never gained any traction because they steadfastly refused to name the person(s) who abused them.

I notice these men coming out of the woodwork now to grab their 15 minutes. I am just not interested. Sorry.

Without evidence to substantiate their claims, any of the victims would face sure financial ruin in the form of lawsuits filed by the deep-pocketed accusers. That´s in addition to being blackballed by Hollywood, which is filled with such players who protect their own. The way I see it, the more victims come forward, the deeper the damage to the left. Remember, these are the people who frame modern American culture, very much for the worse.

If he didn´t want his derriere grabbed he should have stated it loudly and then proceeded to report it to the police. If he remained silent, he enabled the person who did it.

The only refreshing thing about this scandal is that these pampered, ill-informed performers have stopped attacking Trump - at least for the minute.

During an interview with Channel 4, professor and clinical psychologist Jordan B. Peterson left reporter Cathy Newman speechless when she asked him why freedom of speech should trump someone´s "right" to not be offended. "Why should your right to freedom of speech trump a trans person´s right not to be offended?" asked the Channel 4 reporter. "Because in order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive. I mean, look at the conversation we´re having right now," Peterson answered. "You´re certainly willing to risk offending me in the pursuit of truth. Why should you have the right to do

U.S. Border Patrol has been accused of causing the deaths of hundreds of migrants a year by destroying food and water supplies left for them in the brutal Arizona desert by humanitarian groups. On Wednesday, two humanitarian groups released a report, detailing how they´ve distributed more than 31,000 gallons of water along dangerous migrant paths in the Arizona desert between 2012 and 2015. In that time frame, they say volunteers have found these stashes of food and water destroyed 415 times - or about two times a week on average. ´Through statistical analysis, video evidence, and personal experience, our team has

Mayor de Blasio blindsided Manhattan’s “Billionaire’s Row” with a quietly announced plan to open a men’s homeless shelter in the former Park Savoy Hotel. The building at 158 W. 58th St. — which stands back-to-back against the city’s most expensive apartment building, One57 — is being converted into housing for 150 residents and is scheduled to open in March, the city’s Department of Homeless Services said Wednesday. Hizzoner’s plan — part of a program to create 90 new shelters across all five boroughs — was revealed last week in letters to local elected officials. “Are you kidding me?” said a resident

Deadly bacteria could be lurking in your dishwasher, new research reveals. The kitchen staple can contain everything from E.coli, which causes life-threatening food poisoning, to other pathogens linked to infections of the urinary tract, skin and inner heart lining, a Slovenian study found. Although usually harmless, these bacteria can be fatal in people with reduced immune systems, such as those undergoing chemotherapy or organ transplants. Bacteria and fungi are thought to enter dishwashers via the tap water that supplies them, as well as through contaminated food, the research adds. Researchers recommend people reduce their risk of infection by allowing

President Trump is employing techniques “popularized by Joseph Stalin” to demonize the press and his approach could do great harm to the nation in the long run, Sen. Jeff Flake said Sunday. In an appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” the retiring Arizona Republican and outspoken critic of the president said he’s deeply troubled by how Mr. Trump attacks the media. “You can talk about crowd size, and this is pretty innocuous if there’s a falsehood. But when you reflexively refer to the press as the ‘enemy of the people’ or ‘fake news,’ that has real damage,” Mr. Flake said. “It

As many people across the country recognized Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Tuesday, convicted spy Chelsea Manning took to Twitter to blast the men and women in blue. “F–k the police,” Manning tweeted out on Tuesday, followed by “#DisarmThePolice #WeGotThis.” Manning doubled down on her position, sending out a series of tweets with seemingly unsourced stats. Manning, who was known as Bradley Manning before transitioning in prison after her arrest in 2010, was convicted in 2013 of 20 counts, including Espionage Act violations, theft and computer fraud. These sources say the report is “explosive,” stating they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates. Republicans are slamming Democratic Sen. Cory Booker for “mansplaining” to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen in a sharp and one-sided exchange Wednesday before a Senate committee. The New Jersey lawmaker blasted Nielsen´s "silence and amnesia" after failing to get the response he sought on her recollection of statements President Trump made in a meeting last week. Booker´s hostile tone prompted Republican National Committee Rapid Response Director Michael Ahrens to invoke the millennial term for males talking down to women.

After leaving office, President Ronald Reagan created the Ronald Reagan Freedom Award to recognize individuals who have fought to spread liberty worldwide. Nancy Reagan continued the tradition after her husband’s death, and in 2008 she bestowed the honor on human rights icon Natan Sharansky, who credited Reagan’s strong defense of freedom for his own survival in Soviet gulags. Reagan recognized that as leader of the free world, his words carried enormous weight, and he used it to inspire the unprecedented spread of democracy around the world. Men can now look forward to a liberated future of wearing dresses. One such fashion designer, Alejandro Gomez Palomo of Spain, is helping to rush in that new era. According to the 25-year-old Palomo, whose public appearance looks as if Dracula spent a weekend at Liberace´s house, gender fluidity is a way of life he hopes that future men can share. In an interview with AFP, Palomo likened his fashion revolution to the ones ushered by Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent in the 20th century. "Chanel liberated women (after World War I) by dressing them in male fabrics like tweed,"

Obama’s current office, which is run by former de facto President Valerie Jarrett, is just a mile or so from the White House.
