Behold Our Betters
Town Hall, by Kurt Schlichter

Original Article

To be a normal American is to constantly be scolded, to be lectured, to be treated as a morally bankrupt simpleton in need of the guidance and direction provided by an urban elite ruling class notable for its empty academic credentials, its track record of incompetence, and its idolization of people who erotically abuse the foliage. If we are to have betters, is it so wrong for us to demand that they actually be better? Superiors should be distinguished by their superiority – if you presume to take charge shouldn’t you demonstrate tactical, technical, and moral mastery? So what has our

I´m with the rest of the class, a must read well worth it.

The qualities and values some of still cling on to that used to be admired when we selected leaders from among the people have been supplanted by Leftism and debauchery reflected in a ruling elite class.

Undermining Trump’s Agenda
American Greatness, by The Editors    Original Article

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has isolated himself from his own department and allowed subordinates to fill a handful of top positions with people who actively opposed Donald Trump’s election, according to current and former State Department officials and national security experts with specific knowledge of the situation. News reports often depict a White House “in chaos.” But the real chaos, according to three State Department employees who spoke with American Greatness on the condition of anonymity, is at Foggy Bottom. Rumors have circulated for months that Tillerson either plans to resign or is waiting for the president to fire him. The

Thomas Kerr: Growing up poor

This is not how things are supposed to be. Thomas Kerr, 21, grew up in a high-rise in one of the most deprived parts of Glasgow. Both his parents were drug addicts. From the age of six, it was Thomas who was looking after his mum rather than the other way around. It was a hard life; sometimes there was no proper food in the house, often there was no money. And yet whom did he have a picture of hanging on his bedroom wall? Margaret Thatcher, because Thomas Kerr is a Conservative.

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt spoke to me earlier this week at The Heritage Foundation’s annual President’s Club meeting in Washington. We discussed his leadership of the EPA, the agency’s top priorities, and what Pruitt considers true environmentalism. An edited transcript of our interview, along with the full video, is below. Bluey: You’ve had a busy week. On Monday, you took a decisive action and ended the sue and settle process that has been plaguing the EPA and our government for a number of years. Can you explain to this audience why that is so significant and what it actually

No Holds Barred: Torrent of
Anti-Israel Advice Found
in Hillary´s Emails
Jerusalem Post, by Shmuley Boteach    Original Article

It’s already been established that one of Hillary Clinton’s most trusted advisers, Sid Blumenthal, sent her anti-Israel articles, ideas and advice during her time as secretary of state. But the stream of anti-Israel advice received by Clinton was much more comprehensive. In the entire forced dump of Clinton’s emails, you will be hard pressed to find a single one sympathetic toward the Jewish state from any of the people she relied on. The negative, poisonous approach to Israel throughout this email expose shows the atmosphere that she had established around herself. These emails seem to demonstrate that a huge segment of

Work was a supporting pillar in my family dynamic growing up, instilling a foundation that would ultimately propel me to achieve all of my career and financial goals I had set for my 25 year benchmark. (Snip) Americans like my father that take pride in their work propelled Mike Rowe to become “the dirtiest man on TV” with his notorious show Dirty Jobs and one of the leading American men tackling the issues related to the widening skills gap through his foundation, mikeroweWORKS Foundation, which awards scholarships to students pursuing a career in the skilled trades. Yes, Speech Can Be Violence
National Review, by David French    Original Article

If you follow free-speech controversies for any length of time, you’ll understand two things about public opinion. First, an overwhelming percentage of Americans will declare their support for free speech. Second, a shocking percentage of Americans also support censoring speech they don’t like. (Snip) For example, 81 percent agree with the statement that “words can be a form of violence.” A full 58 percent of students believe that colleges should “forbid” speakers who have a “history of engaging in hate speech.” And what is hate speech? The definition the students liked was staggeringly broad. Two-thirds agreed that hate speech is

Bowe Bergdahl, the Army deserter who walked off his base in Afghanistan, is whining that the US treated him worse than the Taliban. The 31-year-old sergeant told British TV journalist Sean Langan in an interview reported in The Sunday Times of London: “At least the Taliban were honest enough to say, ‘I’m the guy who’s gonna cut your throat.’ ” That got him less upset than the “administrative duties” the Army assigned him while awaiting trial, he said. “Here, it could be the guy I pass in the corridor who’s going to sign the paper that sends me away for

Freelance reporter and political consultant Michael J. Hout tweeted a photo of Hillary Clinton using forearm crutches during a visit to Yale Law School Saturday. Clinton’s use of the walking aide comes after breaking her toe during a UK book tour to promote “What Happened.” Clinton visited her alma mater on the same day she held a book signing event at the Wesleyan R.J. Julia Bookstore in Middletown, CT. The bookstore had strict guidelines for book signing attendees — “She will sign a maximum of two books for each attendee and will not personalize books,” posted Wesleyan R.J. Julia Bookstore

The widow of fallen American soldier Sgt. La David T. Johnson appeared on Good Morning America Monday to discuss the death of her husband as well as the now-notorious call she received from President Donald Trump. Myeshia Johnson first told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that she has yet to receive full details about the death of her husband — — a soldier who was killed in an ambush in Niger by ISIS-affiliated militants — and has a number of questions over what led to his death. The consolation call Myeshia received from Trump has become a point of controversy this week,

Sen. John McCain appeared to take a swipe at President Trump in an interview that aired Sunday when he called out the “highest income” Americans at the time who found a doctor to say they had a “bone spur” so they could avoid the Vietnam draft. McCain was interviewed on C-CPAN3, American TV and talked about the war. The interview was wide ranging, but he mentioned the draft. “We drafted the lowest income level of America and the highest income level found a doctor that would say that they had a bone spur,” McCain said “That is wrong.

The business decision of the NFL to isolate and ridicule well over half of their fan (customer) base will easily, very easily, go down in history as the most stunningly stupid decision in the history of any American business enterprise. The vast majority of NFL fans held a middle-class, center-right, common sense, and patriotic outlook toward sports and entertainment overall. In essence most of the NFL fan base are/were positively MAGA-minded. It reflects the profound disconnect between the corporation and their customer base that the NFL didn’t recognize the danger in making social justice causes part of their business enterprise. That blame

Let’s put the Uranium One scandal in perspective: The cool half-million bucks the Putin regime funneled to Bill Clinton was five times the amount it spent on those Facebook ads — the ones the media-Democrat complex ludicrously suggests swung the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. The Facebook-ad buy, which started in June 2015 — before Donald Trump entered the race — was more left-wing agitprop (ads pushing hysteria on racism, immigration, guns, etc.) than electioneering. The Clintons’ own long-time political strategist Mark Penn estimates that just $6,500 went to actual electioneering. (You read that right: 65 hundred dollars.) By
