Superman Protects Undocumented Workers
From Armed White Supremacist
in Latest Comic

The moment in the book released Wednesday comes a week after President Trump ended DACA. Perhaps it is just a coincidence, but perhaps not. In the recent issue of Action Comics #987, "The Oz Effect," released Wednesday, Superman arrives in the nick of time to protect a group of undocumented immigrants from a white man sporting an American flag bandanna, wielding a machine gun, who is going to shoot them for taking his job. Superman blocks the bullets before they hit the terrified people. "Stop this!" Superman orders the gunman. "Why?!" he responds. "They ruined me! Stole from me!" Grabbing the gunman by the collar

Comments:
This would be funny except for two things, Like Hollyweird´s obsession with "climate change" and other dRATS memes, enough to the point of pushing this agenda in their current TV shows and movies, this has particular comport to most young boys and men. I read and enjoyed Superman comics when growing up. However, this is a danger for our military, as they collect , read and pass them amongst their "roommates". These are subliminal messages intended for their ingestion. Just waste time with the new 7th series of "American Horror Story" based on Trump winning the 2016 election. Still watching?

I´m going through the Publisher´s Weekly spring list for children. LBTQXYZ, climate change, Islam and diversity as far as the eye can see in the upcoming offerings.

A more realistic portrayal would be protecting them from young black gangs. I hope Superman is not white is this comic. I admit not reading the article due to personal maxim of not reading slop.

I wonder if Superman is a DREAMER? He was brought to US illegally by his parents. Did he ever apply for citizenship? This is why I no longer read comic books. The plots are so unimaginative and predictable.

I read a few weeks ago that Marvel comics was moving away from "social justice" story lines as they weren´t selling. DC still doesn´t get it.

ESPN lost 2 million subscribers last fiscal year, underscoring the challenge owner Walt Disney Co. faces attracting young people who don’t pay for cable. The network, one of the most watched on the cable dial, had 88 million U.S. subscribers at the end of September, including people paying for online versions, Disney said in its annual report Wednesday. That’s down from a peak of 100 million in 2010 and marks the lowest total since 2003. To ensure the long-term future of one of its most profitable businesses, Disney Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger is negotiating to include ESPN in new digital forms

Washington - Lawyers for Michael T. Flynn, President Trump’s former national security adviser, notified the president’s legal team in recent days that they could no longer discuss the special counsel’s investigation, according to four people involved in the case, an indication that Mr. Flynn is cooperating with prosecutors or negotiating a deal. Mr. Flynn’s lawyers had been sharing information with Mr. Trump’s lawyers about the investigation by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, who is examining whether anyone around Mr. Trump was involved in Russian efforts to undermine Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe won’t face prosecution and is free to remain in the southern African nation following his resignation on Tuesday after 37 years in power. “There aren’t any plans for former President Robert Mugabe; he’s free to stay in Zimbabwe and he won’t face prosecution,” Simon Khaya Moyo, a spokesman for the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front, said Thursday by phone. “We don’t have anything against him or his family. He’s the hero of our liberation.” Emmerson Mnangagwa, 75, is due to be sworn in on Friday to replace Mugabe, who’s ruled since independence in 1980.

Cuba´s foreign minister and his North Korean counterpart have rejected the United States´ “unilateral and arbitrary” demands while expressing concern about escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula, the ministry said. North Korea is searching for support amid unprecedented pressure from the United States and the international community to cease its nuclear weapons and missile programmes, which it carries out in defiance of UN Security Council resolutions. The country, which has made no secret of its plans to develop a missile capable of hitting the US mainland, has maintained warm political relations with Cuba since

Charlie Rose, formerly of PBS and CBS. Glenn Thrush of The New York Times. The collapse of the liberal establishment Masters of the Universe continues. Yet for some reason, the Democratic and liberal establishment think now is the time to condemn … Bill Clinton. (Snip) The only thing that has changed for liberals is being caught as enablers and hypocrites. None of these people now complaining about Mr. Clinton have had any sort of epiphany. They just realize their defense of sexual assault in the 1990s makes it impossible for them to continue the fraud of casting conservatives as the enemies of women.

Drinking coffee is more likely to

Coffee is "more likely to benefit health than harm", a new review has found. People appear to reduce their risk of a range of health problems when they drink three to four cups a day, experts found. They concluded that drinking coffee seems safe "within usual patterns of consumption", except in pregnancy and among women who are at risk of a fracture. (Snip) Their study, published in The British Medical Journal, found that drinking three or four cups a day compared to drinking none has been linked to a lower likelihood of developing or dying from cardiovascular problems, such as heart attacks and stroke.

A Washington Post columnist said White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders humiliates the media on a daily basis. In a column published Tuesday, opinion writer Kathleen Parker referenced Sanders asking reporters earlier this week to say what they were thankful for before asking a question. "Yet again, she controlled the crowd, though this time by candy-coating her usual condescension with faux fellowship," Parker wrote. "I´m thankful I wasn´t in the room." She wrote that her first impulse when someone asks her to share is to "not-share." "For a press secretary to require professional journalists to essentially beg for their supper, surrendering their adversarial posture

A retired Alabama police officer said she was told to keep an eye on Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore back in the 1980s because he was known to harass teenage cheerleaders at local school ballgames. Ex-Gadsden cop Faye Gray told MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell that rumors of Moore’s liking young girls were heard on a daily basis and she was informed that he had been banned from Gadsden Mall because he allegedly targeted young female employees. “We were also told to watch him at the ballgames and make sure that he didn’t hang around the cheerleaders,” Faye said.

Alabama has its back up, or at least its Republicans and conservatives do, and it’s understandable. They don’t like when Northerners and liberals and people in Washington tell them who their senator should be. They don’t like when reporters from outside come down and ask questions and turn over rocks looking for what’s crawling on the underside. (Snip) The charges against Mr. Moore are not only serious; they are completely credible. If you read the original Washington Post story, you know it was rigorously reported, with great care and professionalism. Four women who did not seek out the press, who did

The NFL is considering an idea for next year to keep players inside their locker rooms during the playing of the National Anthem. "I think that if players are still kneeling at the end of the year, then it could very well happen," said one person familiar with the owners´ deliberations on anthem-related issues.Years ago, the players would come out on the field to warm up and then return to the locker room during the National Anthem. The league is thinking of going back to that policy. Washington Post: That person said it was "too early to tell" for certain
