Liberals sick of the alt-left
are taking ´the red pill´

Fox News Opinion, by Elizabeth Ames

Original Article

The mainstream media failed to see the rise of Donald Trump in 2016. Now it’s overlooking another grassroots movement that may soon be of equal significance— the growing number of liberals “taking the red pill.” People of all ages and ethnicities are posting YouTube videos describing “red pill moments”—personal awakenings that have caused them to reject leftist narratives imbibed since childhood from friends, teachers, and the news and entertainment media. You might say that those who take the red pill have been “triggered.” But instead of seeking out “safe spaces,” they’re doing the opposite, posting monologues throwing off the shackles

Comments:
Sounds like the Antifa and PC have pushed some people too far and they are snapping back. Let´s hope that the wheels are really coming off of their identity politics, "you´re a victim" hate train.
There is also some indication of people recognizing that traditional values are a route to success and sanity in life.

There comes a time in every era when the merely nuts can no longer stomach the actions of the truly insane and start seeing the validity of what their former opposition was saying. I´m glad to see some of the Left coming to their senses and throwing off the shackles of Marxist ´tolerance´.

Yes, I stumbled upon a few videos of people who say they´ve been ´red-pilled´. They are interesting to watch/listen to. I just hope it will be a permanent transformation.

I saw this last year campaigning for Trump. One quarter of our visitors were between 18 and 30. A large majority of those were Bernie voters disgusted with the DNC and Hillary! Our most popular bumper sticker was, "Feeling Berned? Vote Trump."

Re #5, I think it’s “they were WOKE”. Or they be WOKE.

Whenever I hear “woke” I think “Wacko Maxine Waters”.

Shocked former classmates who attended middle and high school with Texas church gunman Devin Patrick Kelley described him Monday as being heavily medicated and someone who kept to himself -- despite a deluge of posts on his apparent Facebook profile about weapons and atheism. Kelley -- dressed entirely in black and "wearing a face mask with a white skull on it," according to Texas Department of Public Safety´s regional director Freeman Martin -- burst into the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas on Sunday and killed at least 26 people, one as young as 18-months old.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said a terrorist who mowed down more than 20 people with a truck in New York City must be held as an "enemy combatant," not as a common criminal. He told Shannon Bream on "Fox News @ Night" that 29-year-old Uzbek immigrant Sayfullo Saipov should be held by U.S. intelligence for as long as necessary to figure out whether he was part of a broader ISIS plot and to examine his past contacts. "The last thing that I want this guy to hear tonight is, ´You have the right to a lawyer.´ The last thing he

At least one woman was shot and killed and several other people were wounded on Sunday when a gunman wearing a ski mask opened fire inside a Tennessee church, Nashville police said. The gunman, who officials said shot himself and was taken to a hospital, opened fire in Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, southeast of Nashville, just after 11 a.m. and fired “multiple rounds,” police said in a news conference. The Nashville Fire Department called the incident “a mass casualty situation.” A man confronted the gunman at one point and was pistol-whipped, causing "significant injury around his head."

A Washington Post columnist said White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders humiliates the media on a daily basis. In a column published Tuesday, opinion writer Kathleen Parker referenced Sanders asking reporters earlier this week to say what they were thankful for before asking a question. "Yet again, she controlled the crowd, though this time by candy-coating her usual condescension with faux fellowship," Parker wrote. "I´m thankful I wasn´t in the room." She wrote that her first impulse when someone asks her to share is to "not-share." "For a press secretary to require professional journalists to essentially beg for their supper, surrendering their adversarial posture

UCLA basketball players LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill were arrested in China for shoplifting while attending basketball tournament. UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero said the players stole from three stores in China including sunglasses stolen by LiAngelo Ball from a Louis Vitton store. They were facing 10 years in prison. President Trump asked President Xi Jinping for leniency. The three players were released. A new Raycom News Network Senate Election poll conducted by Strategy Research finds the race in a statistical tie nearly two weeks after allegations of sexual misconduct against Republican Roy Moore rocked the campaign. (Snip) When asked “what do you think about the allegations made against Roy Moore,” 45% believe all or some of the allegations; 34% do not believe the allegations; and 21% believe some or all of the allegations, but say it has not changed their vote. Among party lines, nearly half (48%) of Republican voters surveyed do not believe the allegations. Another 24% of Republicans say they believe some

A retired Alabama police officer said she was told to keep an eye on Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore back in the 1980s because he was known to harass teenage cheerleaders at local school ballgames. Ex-Gadsden cop Faye Gray told MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell that rumors of Moore’s liking young girls were heard on a daily basis and she was informed that he had been banned from Gadsden Mall because he allegedly targeted young female employees. “We were also told to watch him at the ballgames and make sure that he didn’t hang around the cheerleaders,” Faye said.

Alabama has its back up, or at least its Republicans and conservatives do, and it’s understandable. They don’t like when Northerners and liberals and people in Washington tell them who their senator should be. They don’t like when reporters from outside come down and ask questions and turn over rocks looking for what’s crawling on the underside. (Snip) The charges against Mr. Moore are not only serious; they are completely credible. If you read the original Washington Post story, you know it was rigorously reported, with great care and professionalism. Four women who did not seek out the press, who did

The NFL is considering an idea for next year to keep players inside their locker rooms during the playing of the National Anthem. "I think that if players are still kneeling at the end of the year, then it could very well happen," said one person familiar with the owners´ deliberations on anthem-related issues.Years ago, the players would come out on the field to warm up and then return to the locker room during the National Anthem. The league is thinking of going back to that policy. Washington Post: That person said it was "too early to tell" for certain
