What Draws People To Anarchy?
Left-Wing Extremism And Smashing

The Washington Post published a piece today titled “What draws Americans to anarchy? It’s more than just smashing windows.” The story itself isn’t as dumb as the headline suggests, but it never does demonstrate that what draws people to anarchism is anything beyond a kind of left-wing outlaw chic. Legba Carrefour was one of the organizers behind Disrupt J20, the group of black bloc anarchists who created hassles at inauguration checkpoints and riots through parts of Washington, D.C. Carrefour tells the Post he became an anarchist after watching the G20 protests in Seattle on television. He knows smashing things turns

It is a lot easier to destroy things then it is to create them, that is why the stupid, the talentless, the shiftless and the lazy are attracted to anarchy.

Ever notice in history how many failed artists have gone on to become despots and tyrants?

Society, particularly younger people are caught up in being trendy and today´s trends are getting progressively more dangerous and out there. When actual history is removed from education, children and young adults have no reference point, no foundation. It is easy for them to be swayed by alternative thinking when educators romanticize every socialist, communist, and anarchist as free thinking freedom fighters and vilify the Founders capitalistic oppressors and war mongers. Educators are failing to educate our children in the truth. They are, for the most part, purposefully indoctrinating them to hate this country. They are also the driving force on many college campuses that wants to shut down any opposing viewpoints and this leaves students unable to engage in critical thinking.

Those who are not formally educated -- movie and TV stars, recording artists, celebrities just want to drive the hip and cool trends of the day. Everyone knows it´s not hip to be someone with a traditional mindset. They too have no desire for truth but want to shut down any opposing views because this enhances their reputations as free thinkers.

What these people have in common is that they are not critical thinkers. They are not tolerant. They cannot abide differing viewpoints and worst of all, they are a sanctimonious bunch fueled by rage and ignorance. They are dangerous and they want to be the only influence in your kids lives.

Parents: Educate your children in the truth early or these reckless and dangerous people will. Don´t spend your hard earned dollars to pay progressives to endoctrinate your children In becoming mindless anarchists. Raise intelligent, knowledgable patriots.

Who should care why they smash other people´s property? Shoot to kill and the rioting stops immediately. It´s not "cool" and "chic" to be a corpse.

Serious prison time and fines would be useful. Aggressive policing, e.g. water canons, tear gas would stop them.

Idiocy on a grand scale draws people to anarchy- Stupid, indifferent parenting, Education run by teachers unions hell bent on an anti-American agenda, tolerance for anti-American politicians, entertainment systems gone off the rails, lackadaisical law enforcement, Governmentally sponsored racism, high taxes discriminately enforced, overly expensive, "legal robbery" medical costs, law makers excusing themselves from the laws they pass- those things draw people to anarchist behavior.

They need to be personally smashed up a bit to give them an incentive to stay home next time.

A broken nose, or a broken arm is a wonderful way to communicate disapproval.

We need to communicate to them in ways that they can understand.

poor impulse control, on steroids

"Kristallnacht" was state-sponsored anarchy - terrorism, really - against a particular group, lots of window breaking

who is a user of anarchy as a tool to break down a country?

George Soros

which seems inexplicable, doesn´t it -

when as a Jew in Hungary, he knew what terror the Nazis inflicted and how they could use reprisals against "anarchists" to embolden and harden, polarize and fragmentize - the Reichstag burning was an early example of the success of staging an act of anarchism to justify the next phase -

so, what is the goal of contrived anarchism?

I think it is to wear people down and make them think they WANT martial law, to get these hooligans under control -

and oh, by the way, we will need everyone´s guns, too, even you law-abiding people, just to be "fair"

and what if you are a big-time hedge fund guy who makes money off of selling nations short?

There´s money to be made from anarchy, if you can just have the right algorithm, the formula for prediction and fulfilling that prediction with a bit of legerdermain . . . perhaps a bit of anarchy to hasten things along.

"The Man Who Broke the Bank of England" sallies forth.

President Donald Trump amped up the energy at the United Nations 72nd General Assembly. At his maiden speech before General Assembly Tuesday, Trump called North Korean strongman Kim Jong Un “Rocket Man.” He threatened “to totally destroy” the hermit kingdom. He told reporters, “I have decided” whether to certify the international nuclear pact with Iran — but he would not reveal what that decision might be, not even to British Prime Minister Theresa May. Kim showed himself game for a verbal food fight. “A frightened dog barks louder,” he wrote in a first-person statement. It ended, the New York Times reports,

We’re eight months into the Trump presidency, and we can now draw one frustrating conclusion: Very few of the voices opposed to the president want to learn anything from their experience in 2016. The media will not slow down and make sure they get the story right as well as getting it first. Does it feel as if the country’s largest news organizations attempted any serious self-reflection about how they covered the 2016 election? Are they attempting to be more fair-minded, more dedicated to accuracy, resisting groupthink and the temptation to become an echo chamber? Hardly. At Politico, journalism professor

Conservative Roman Catholic theologians

Several dozen tradition-minded Roman Catholic theologians, priests and academics have formally accused Pope Francis of spreading heresy with his 2016 opening to divorced and civilly remarried Catholics. In a 25-page letter delivered to Francis last month and provided Saturday to The Associated Press, the 62 signatories issued a "filial correction" to the pope — a measure they said hadn´t been employed since the 14th century. The letter accused Francis of propagating seven heretical positions concerning marriage, moral life and the sacraments with his 2016 document "The Joy of Love" and subsequent "acts, words and omissions." The initiative follows another formal act by four

Oakland Athletics catcher Bruce Maxwell became the first Major League Baseball player to kneel during the national anthem Saturday, after President Trump criticized athletes for the form of protest. Photos from the game show Maxwell kneeling with his hand on his heart and facing the American flag during the national anthem. Teammate Mark Canh was seen placing his hand on Maxwell´s shoulder. Maxwell is the son of a U.S. soldier and was born on a military base in Germany. His decision to kneel follows comments from Trump during a Friday rally in Alabama in which he called on NFL owners to fire

Ed Koch, the late mayor of New York, delighted in offering salty opinions on sundry matters. He was often rebuked on the ground that he should be more dignified and stick to his knitting. Koch’s response was that he didn’t lose his First Amendment rights when he became mayor. He was right, just as Donald Trump retains his free speech rights even though he lives in the White House. Naturally, the president is being called “divisive” for his attack on the relative handful of NFL players who kneel rather than stand for the National Anthem. Commissioner Roger Goodell demanded “respect” for the

John McCain has once again shown he has no loyalty to his party, his friends, or to his voters. In likely torpedoing what may prove Republicans’ last effort to rid the country of ObamaCare, McCain evinced the nostalgia of an old man for better times. He wants the Senate to operate as it once did, with bipartisan comity and regular order. Yes, and I’d like to return to the days when kids were addicted to twilight stickball rather than video games. Those gentler times are long gone. What we have now is a bitterly divided Congress, and country. Democrat leaders Chuck

There really ought to be a statute of limitations on how long John McCain can play the tortured war hero card. His war hero status was exhausted with me a decade ago over a single instance. Brad Smith, who as chairman of the Federal Election Commission and law professor dared to criticize the McCain-Feingold campaign finance law on constitutional grounds (later vindicated in several Supreme Court cases culminating in the glorious Citizens United decision), came before a Senate committee one day to testify about campaign finance laws. He had recently had surgery, and had to appear in a wheelchair. Smith wheeled himself

President Donald Trump has called for fans to boycott the NFL if players don´t stop ´disrespecting´ the US by kneeling during the national anthem - as his rant continues to draw backlash from high profile athletes. Trump had earlier denounced the protests by NFL players and rescinded a White House invitation for NBA champion Stephen Curry in a two day rant that targeted top professional athletes and brought swift condemnation from league executives and star players alike on Saturday. Early Sunday morning, Trump continued his Twitter tirade and called for an NFL boycott. ´If NFL fans refuse to go to games until

The recent behavior of a number of spoiled, privileged, ungrateful NFL players is unacceptable to most Americans, NFL fans or not. (snip) It would be so satisfying if a group of patriotic fans to have at the ready a flash mob of singers at a stadium game. If the players "take a knee" to show their disdain for the flag and the national anthem, these talented souls would wait until just before the kick-off and then stand up and belt out the national anthem themselves. Chances are hundreds of those in attendance would join them. Then they would exit the
