Dershowitz Says Special
Counsel Will Help Trump:
´He´s Going to Find No Crime´

Although many on the left have expressed their approval of Robert Mueller being appointed as special counsel to investigate possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, Alan Dershowitz thinks Mueller could actually vindicate President Donald Trump, rather than bring about his downfall. On "Tucker Carlson Tonight," Dershowitz, a legal scholar and Harvard University Law School professor, said he doesn´t see a crime that necessitated the appointment of a special counsel. He explained that it would not be criminal, even if it happened, for the Trump campaign to have collaborated with the Russians in an effort to get their candidate

This was an excellent segment that every Republican in congress should see. I have never been a particular fan of Dershowitz going back to the days of OJ Simpson. That said, that short segment he gave concise information as to why a special counsel should never have been appointed and summarized the outrageousness of it all. I just can´t believe that Jeff Sessions would allow such a thing to happen because a crime had not taken place. Mark Levin has said the same thing.

So the Democrats have talked the stupid Republicans into appointing a special prosecutor to prosecute them for no crime? Only the Republicans would agree to this absurdity.

There is nothing there against Trump. Perhaps some minor stuff with Flynn and Manafort, perhaps.

Perhaps Trump is using the Dhim´s call for a special counsel to give them what they asked for; an investigation into Russian involvement during the election. I propose Trump will use this to trap Clinton, and hopefully Ozero.

Patience Trumpers, asymmetrical political warfare is "complicated business, folks, complicated business."

Agree with #4. PDT and Sessions are playing rope-a-dope with the left. Wait for it - once the investigation starts getting close to Illary and Smidgen, the demonrats will start screeching that it´s all too expensive and needs to be ended.

I have never liked Dershowitz since I read his early book where he details, inter alia, his defense of Ron Jeremy, the porn actor.

A growing number of people on social media are calling for the removal of Communist dictator Vladimir Lenin’s statue in Seattle. Many social media users, from a prominent Seattle venture capitalist to the estimated 900 people who follow the Facebook group Seattle, Tear Down This Lenin Statue! are calling for Lenin’s statue to be removed. “If one wanted to pull down statues of profoundly evil people, responsible for uncountable human suffering, this one might be on the list,” tweeted venture capitalist Benedict Evans, whose Twitter presence boasts 224,000 followers:

One of the FBI officials recently brought onto the Trump-Russia investigation being conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller has left the team, according to a new report. ABC News is reporting that Peter Strzok left the position for unknown reasons. He is now working in the FBI’s human resources department. It is unclear why the move was made. CNN reported last month that Mueller had picked Strzok to manage the ever-expanding investigation into possible collusion between members of the Trump campaign and Russian government. The probe has expanded to include possibly illegal business activities involving former Trump campaign chairman Paul

Democratic representative James Clyburn said Wednesday that the United States is moving closer to Nazi Germany with a Hitler-like Donald Trump at the helm. “We are approaching a place that we’ve been before,” Clyburn said on CNN, indicating that he thinks the country is on the path toward Nazi Germany. “We remember from our studies what happened in the 1930s in Germany,” he said. “I told a business group down at Hilton Head several weeks before the election, that what I saw coming was a replay of what happened in Nazi Germany.” Clyburn then argued that President Trump is like Hitler because they

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson revealed Wednesday that his Virginia home was recently vandalized with “hateful rhetoric about President Trump.” “More recently our home in Virginia along with that of a neighbor was vandalized by people who also wrote hateful rhetoric about President Trump,” Carson wrote on his Facebook page. “We were out of town, but other kind, embarrassed neighbors cleaned up most of the mess before we returned.” Carson posted the anecdote as part of his response to the “racial and political strife emanating from the events in Charlottesville last weekend.”

Since last November, I’ve been the recipient of yuge amounts of criticism any time I’ve asked whether it’s time to begin those impeachment proceedings we all expect are imminent. Hoping for impeachment, the critics have said, is hoping that our president fails. But guys, we’re really, really far beyond that point now. If considering impeachment is like rooting for your airline pilot to fail, then listening without action to Trump’s self-important tantrums today is like watching your pilot pass out, and ringing for the flight attendant to bring you headphones as the plane careens toward land. Putting aside that our gilded

A foreign company hired by the U.S. government to mentor and train Afghan intelligence officers billed Uncle Sam for more than $50 million in luxury cars—including Porsches, an Aston Martin and Bentley—and the lucrative salaries of executive and their spouses, who didn’t do any work. The firm also spent $1,500 on alcohol and $42,000 on automatic weapons prohibited under the terms of the contract, according to figures provided by a U.S. Senator from a federal audit that has not been released to the public. It marks the latest of many scandals involving the free-flow of American dollars to controversial causes

The campaign spokesman for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign compared allied forces during War World II to Antifa protesters Tuesday night. Brian Fallon, who served as Clinton’s spokesman during her failed 2016 campaign, tweeted out a picture of Allied Forces invading Normandy. President Trump should have left well enough alone. His Monday denunciation of costumed sheet-wearers and Nazi wanna-bes could have cleared the way for Americans of all stripes to focus their outrage on things that matter more than presidential words. That would be the violence that is infecting our politics and the frightening acceptance of it as the new normal. But Trump’s defiance yesterday is sure to keep the media pot boiling over his rhetoric instead of an ominous reality. Namely, that real protestors don’t carry baseball bats, crowbars and mace. Yet Saturday’s bloody clash in Charlottesville showed that many on

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has weighed in on the weekend´s violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, castigating Donald Trump without naming him. ´We can have no tolerance for an ideology of racial hatred. There are no good neo-nazis,´ McConnell said in a statement. The choice of words, while careful, appeared to push back against Trump´s claim on Tuesday that some ´very fine people´ were among a crowd of white supremacists who rallied in the college town.
