Before Hillary Clinton puts more miles on her comeback tour, Democrats should let her know she’s done enough damage and it’s time to pack it in. That won’t stop her, since even after losing to Donald Trump she fancies herself some misunderstood martyr, but it might slow her down a bit. While they crawl out of the wilderness that both Clinton and President Obama left them in, any moments Democrats spend amusing their failed 2016 nominee as she tries to find a way back to some sort of relevance is more than wasted energy -- it’s self-sabotage. Last week Clinton sat in
The below quote FTA is just so disgusting in so many ways. America, where have you gone?
´´With Sen. Bernie Sanders’ newfound stature in the Democratic Party, despite confirming this week that he actually is not a Democrat, Clinton must be careful not to appear as if she is still competing with the 75-year-old socialist. He is currently, according to polling, the most popular politician in the country.´´
I caught that, too, #4. If the communist old dirt bag Sanders is the most popular politician in the country, what does that tell you about how people feel about all politicians?
I do not know why PT is not seeking prosecution of Clinton. Perhaps he feels we already have enough division in the body politic and need no more- better just to move on (pardon the use of that cruddy term). But, certainly, Clinton´s "Others", like Podesta. Mills, et al need some trimming up by AG Sessions. Too distracting?
So, instead, they are going after Julian Assange? I don´t get it. The public almost certainly are looking for some blood in the arena. But, not just anyone´s blood will do. We want the true blue blood in that raked over sand.
Hillary Clintoon is a breathtakingly incompetent person and is completely responsible for her campaign failure. She had the dem machine, including grudgingly, BO, the media, the intelligence community, and even foreign governments working to get her elected and she still failed. She was simply a horrible candidate and a horrible person. The only one she is a "champion" for is her own ego and greed.
THAT is why she is seeking to be resurrected once again, to rebuild her own ego and to justify getting those big speaking fees and donations once again. She doesn´t care about her party, the Country, or the people in it.
No. We want her to continue to be a cancer on dem. Think about it. If she runs again in 2020 it will throw the dems into a spin. They will need a strong candidate against Trump. Which means she will do whatever is needed to destroy dem. The corruption & criminality will be back giving Trump the opportunity to crush her & dems for super majorities in Congress. Run you B!
Howard Dean thinks "hate speech" is not protected by the First Amendment. A New York University professor was given space in the New York Times to deride the idea of "a blanket permission to say anything anybody thinks" and to defend protestors who, using violence, shut down a speech that was to be delivered recently by Charles Murray, the social scientist. A political science professor at Middlebury, the college where Murray was barracked, jostled, and threatened, apologized to the perpetrators for inviting Murray. Justification of modern, left-wing fascism and spineless capitulation in the face of it is becoming more common. The
Those who want to preserve our constitutional republic spent a lot of time and energy getting Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court. There is no doubt that his confirmation was an important step toward achieving that goal. But with rumors swirling that another slot could open as soon as this summer, the public should realize that it is President Trump´s next pick that will provide the opportunity to finally solidify a conservative majority that will protect the Bill of Rights and enforce the Constitution’s limits on the power of the federal government. In case after case, Justice Antonin Scalia was that
Before Donald Trump won the election in November we were warned: He is a Russian stooge. He is a fascist. He will upend the protocols and traditions that make governing possible. This is not normal. Now that we are approaching the 100-day mark, it´s worth noting that the president is defying the expectations of his resistance. And while there is plenty to oppose in Trump´s young presidency, he is neither the Siberian Candidate nor the second coming of Mussolini. Let´s start with Russia. The FBI is still investigating whether and how his campaign may have colluded with Moscow´s efforts to influence the
What kind of conservative is President Trump? He must be some kind of conservative, because for nearly 100 days and counting, liberals have poured on him the kind of vitriol they do not reserve for moderates or ideological nobodys. Inside the Beltway, some famous conservatives have joined in the sport but for the opposite reason, that Mr. Trump, they claim, is no conservative but a populist demagogue out to discredit and destroy their beloved movement. In his three major public speeches so far — his remarks at the Republican National Convention, his Inaugural Address and his speech to a joint session
I tell my constitutional law students that there are a couple of statements that indicate that a speaker is a constitutional illiterate who can safely be ignored. One is the claim that the Constitution views black people as ? the worth of white people (actually, it was all about power in Congress, with slaveowners wanting black people to count 100% toward apportionment so that slaveowners would get more seats in Congress, and abolitionists wanting them not counted at all so that slaveowners would get fewer seats in Congress; the ? compromise was just that, a compromise). The other hallmark of constitutional
What if Donald Trump had unilaterally shut down every investigation into Russian espionage, released over 20 suspected Russian spies, struck a deal to get rid of sanctions against Russia—in return for honoring deals that had been signed years before—and then lied to the American people about the entire episode? That’s the Obama Administration’s Iran deal. It might have been the first time the United States has offered extensive concessions to a nation that has continued to destabilize its interests, for nothing in return. But Barack Obama didn’t just support Iran’s position over our allies like Israel (no surprise there, considering his
Despite the best efforts of the White House “PR apparatus” to sell the president’s first 100 days as a success, the New York Times declared in an editorial, the new administration has, in fact, been plagued by “many missteps” including a “bungled sales job” on his first major legislative initiative and a “snakebit” confirmation process, all of which have produced “a flurry of articles bemoaning the lack of focus in the White House.” The first 100 days, the Times declared, is a period the president “might prefer to forget.” The president in question is not Donald Trump. This is how, in
President Barack Obama considered being homosexual as a young man, according to a forthcoming biography of the president. The biography by David Garrow, “Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama,” is set to come out on May 9. Garrow wrote a Pulitzer Prize-winning biography of Martin Luther King Jr., and is a regular contributor to The New York Times and The Washington Post. WATCH: (Video) In a chapter about the former president’s two years at Occidental College, Garrow reveals a close relationship Obama had with an openly gay assistant professor named Lawrence Goldyn. “Goldyn made a huge impact on Barry
The “Antifa” far left Communist group has managed to get an entire parade and carnival canceled in Portland because the Multnomah County Republicans were going to be in the parade. (Photo) The communists threatened to riot, loot, assault people at the parade. The festival people decided to cancel the entire weekend of activities, which was going to be this weekend due to the threats of violence by the leftist group. The Antifa group promised to rush the parade and drag away the Republicans. “We will have two hundred or more people rush into the parade into the middle and drag
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., argued Thursday that President Trump and Republicans in Congress will have "doo-doo stuck to their shoe for a long time" if they pass the revised American Health Care Act (AHCA). The comments came a day after the AHCA received a boost in support from the House Freedom Caucus, which announced it would back the bill. "I think President Trump is really making fools of the members of Congress, of his own party," she said in her weekly press conference. "He´s asking them to vote for a bill that is wildly unpopular in the country,
House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz could potentially be unable to work for up to a month due to a medical emergency. Chaffetz took to Instagram Wednesday to announce doctors at the University of Utah recommended immediate surgery on his foot to prevent a serious infection caused by screws from a former injury. “Almost 12 years ago, I shattered several bones in my foot which required 14 screws and a metal plate to repair,” he said in the caption. “Yes, I wish I could say I was cliff diving in Mexico but the truth is I
Chelsea Clinton urged the importance of fighting hunger as she was honored at a New York charity gala on Tuesday night. The former First Daughter, who is a Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, was presented with the City Harvest Award for Commitment for her support of the organization through volunteering with the Clinton Foundation´s Day of Action program. She wore a colorful patterned dress, black cardigan and nude heels to the event on Tuesday, which was also attended by Chrissy Teigen, actress Bridget Moynahan, Real Housewives Of New York star Bethenny Frankel and domestic goddess Martha Stewart.
Although President Donald J. Trump promised to defund Planned Parenthood if elected president, and the GOP House and Senate often claim that they want to defund the group, there reportedly is no language in the continuing resolution to fund the government through next September to defund Planned Parenthood, a group that has performed approximately 81,567 abortions since Trump´s inauguration on Jan. 20. That´s about 877 abortions per day, 36 per hour, or 1 every two minutes. The continuing resolution, or CR, is a funding mechanism that -- absent a budget and the regular appropriations process -- wraps federal spending into
The United Nations warned the Trump administration earlier this year that repealing ObamaCare without providing an adequate replacement would be a violation of multiple international laws, according to a new report. Though the Trump administration is likely to ignore the U.N. warning, The Washington Post reported the Office of the U.N. High Commission on Human Rights in Geneva sent an "urgent appeal" on Feb 2. The Post reported that the confidential, five-page memo cautioned that the repeal of the Affordable Care Act would put the U.S. “at odds with its international obligations.” The warning was sent to the State Department and reportedly said
