Watch: Gowdy Grills Comey: You Know
People Who Leak Go To Prison, Right?

On Monday, Representative Trey Gowdy targeted FBI Director James Comey over the leaks coming from the intelligence community regarding former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, saying bluntly, “The felonious dissemination of classified material most definitely is a crime.” Gowdy began by asking Comey if there is an exception in the law for current or former U.S. officials who request anonymity. Comey said there was, but when Gowdy amended the question to ask if reporters were granted such an exemption, Comey said, “That´s a harder question, as to whether a reporter incurs criminal liability by publishing classified information, and one probably beyond

Looking at Gowdy´s track record, I have no respect for him. He´s a grandstander, with nothing to show for it. Make no mistake about it. He´s good at running his mouth.

#1, we are definitely on different planets.

Gowdy was the ONLY one today standing up for the rule of law. He did his best to get the truth about Benghazi, but wa thwarted by the media and the entire DC intelligence community and Obama´s evil Administration.

If you know something I don´t--which I doubt--please share it.

I will stand up for Gowdy.

Gowdy should have told Comey if he is unable to find the leakers he should resign. I don´t buy for one minute they don´t know the leakers.

I´ve been intensely watching american politics for the last 50 years and I have never seen a congressman go after lying, hedging, America hating bureaucrats as hard as Chafetz and Gaudy. Now, if only our law enforcement types and judges would follow their examples!

Comey´s an awful person to have in charge of our FBI. I consider him to be one of those clever, sly, seemingly normal lunatics very much like the guy in Psycho. When you think of Comey, imagine Ted Bundy. Nuttier than a Snickers bar, friendly, innocent sounding, and dangerous as a rabid hyena.

Gowdy is smart as a whip and the only one with guts to really go after these people. Look at the others on the Benghazi committee (it was a committee- not just Trey Gowdy) and they let him carry the ball.

He was brilliant today.

Some parallels to Watergate.
The Leaker was the FBI agent in charge of investigation Mark Felt and WP´s Woodward and Bernstein lied to American public about "Deep Throat".
What did Comey know and when did he know it?
What did he tell Obama about Trump and Michae Flynn and how did he obtain info?
Who unmasked MIke Flynn and when will they be charged Criminally?

Gowdy was brilliant today but he/the committee let HRC slip in and out of the noose and come out looking like a Saint.

Republicans need to turn all questions over to Gowdy.

The brilliant showmanship means zero unless there are consequences for the bad guys. Republicans never have anything to show for the rhetoric. Oops, they use it as bragging rights at reelection time. Our side stops short of ever using their full authority because they are scared of the media. Let´s just be honest.

Since Comey is one of the possible leakers, should he be in charge of the alleged investigations -- which he won´t even say is happening?

If he did the leaking and was NOT investigating, would be we willing to say that there is no investigation or LIE to Congress that there was? Or do what he did, refuse to say?

I don´t trust hte man AT ALL.

Comedy should have been fired. Anyone with the slightest contact with the Obama administration should not be trusted. Now look at the mess he has created. Instead of a clean investigation partisanship seems to be the driving force. I do not trust him because he is not trustworthy. Anyone connected with Obama is suspect. As the Director of the FBI, he should be above reproach. Comey will use whatever means he can to harm the President. The sly innuendo, the parsing of words are all tools to be used to undermine PDJT.

All eyes on Trump, Ryan relationship

Not long after President Donald Trump told his Twitter followers to watch Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro´s show Saturday night, the host and Trump ally took to the screen to deliver a harsh rebuke of House Speaker Paul Ryan. "Paul Ryan needs to step down as speaker of the House," Pirro said. "The reason? He failed to deliver the votes on his health care bill. The one trumpeted to repeal and replace Obamacare. The one that he had seven years to work on. The one he hid under lock and key in the basement of Congress. The one that had

Speaker Paul Ryan and House leaders had been toiling behind closed doors for weeks assembling their Obamacare repeal bill as suspicion on the far-right simmered to a boil. So on March 7, just hours after Ryan unveiled a plan that confirmed its worst fears, the House Freedom Caucus rushed to devise a counterstrategy. The few dozen true believers knew that pressure from House leaders and President Donald Trump to fall in line would be immense and they were intent on not getting boxed in. In a conference room in the Rayburn House Office Building, the group met that evening and made a

The Wall Street Journal is delighted to hear Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s tough words on North Korea and China. “Let me be very clear: The policy of strategic patience has ended,” Mr. Tillerson said, referring to the Obama Administration policy of waiting for North Korea to give up its nuclear ambitions or collapse. A day earlier he criticized “20 years” of a “failed approach” to the North’s nuclear ambitions. I, too, appreciate the secretary of state’s candor. But straight talk isn’t going to be enough. As the Journal concedes, He and President Trump are trying to persuade China that the new

The Washington Post detailed the House GOP’s fight over the ObamaCare repeal and replacement plan this week, rounding up the dramatic details of leadership’s fight to win support for the measure. At one point, the paper said, House Speaker Paul Ryan (Wis.) got down on one knee to plead with Rep. Don Young of Alaska – the longest-serving Republican in Congress -- to support the bill. (He was unsuccessful.) The moments highlighted by the Post during the Republican conference negotiations show what a tough battle Ryan and his deputies faced in whipping the vote. But they also show the fierce support

President Trump is reportedly creating a new White House innovation office that will be led by his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner. The White House Office of American Innovation will be announced Monday, the Washington Post reported, and will report directly to the president. The idea is to help meet some of the goals President Trump pledged to accomplish during his campaign, such as working to help with veteran care and fight opioid addiction. The new office, which is described in the Post report as a “SWAT team” to fix the federal bureaucracy, is working with tech giants such

With the words "credibility questioned" prominent on the screen, Scott Pelley once again is doing what network evening-news anchors generally don´t do: abandoning careful neutrality in favor of pointed truth-telling. He is talking Thursday night about President Trump. And here are some of the words he is using: "his boasting and tendency to believe conspiracy theories." It´s nothing new. Pelley, of CBS Evening News, has set himself apart — especially in recent weeks — with a spate of such assessments, night after night. Perhaps the most notable one, on Feb. 7, went like this: "It has been a busy day

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday stepped up his criticism of House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, calling on House Speaker Paul Ryan to replace him. "Without further ado, Speaker Ryan should replace Chairman Nunes," the Senate minority leader said from the floor. "If Speaker Ryan wants the House to have a credible investigation, he needs to replace Chairman Nunes." Nunes caused an uproar last week when he told the press that he had seen intelligence showing that members of President Trump´s transition team had been caught up in surveillance operations — without first discussing the information with fellow committee members. Is a guaranteed paycheck from the government, with no strings attached, the answer to the relentless rise of automation? The concept might sound far-fetched, but a so-called universal basic income (UBI), is currently one of the most hotly debated policy topics being floated as a means to address income inequality and the disruption that technology poses to the workforce. UBI is being tested in Finland and other international markets, but has received decidedly mixed reactions. Meanwhile, developments in robotics and artificial intelligence have grave implications for the labor force. A report issued this week from consulting firm PwC found that

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday he’ll begin punishing sanctuary cities, withholding potentially billions of dollars in federal money — and even clawing back funds that had been doled out in the past. Speaking at the White House, Mr. Sessions said his department is preparing to dole out more than $4 billion in funds this year, but will try prevent any of it from going to sanctuaries. “Countless Americans would be alive today … if these policies of sanctuary cities were ended,” Mr. Sessions said. He said he’s carrying out a policy laid out by the Obama administration last year,
