Gorsuch Gets Boost From Democrats In Hearings
Daily Caller, by Kevin Daley

Original Article

Judge Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court got a boost from two Democrats who testified before the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, as deep partisan entrenchment emerged during Monday’s hearings. Colorado Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet and former acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal, an Obama-appointee, appeared before the committee to praise Gorsuch’s record. Katyal urged Democrats to support the nomination, while Bennet was more circumspect. Bennet is under intense pressure from Colorado’s legal establishment to vote for his fellow home-stater. Though he stopped short of announcing his support for Gorsuch, he did reiterate his support for a full hearing and

We watched as the liberal Democrat Senators gave their opening statements at the confirmation hearing. No doubt the country is seriously split in two politically, as the Democrat Senators appeared to be from Mars as far as the very liberal political agenda they were pushing, clearly favoring judges who would move the liberal Democrat political agenda through the courts instead of following the US Constitution or laws passed by Congress. There is no doubt that none of them would ever be elected if they had run for office in flyover country or the States that voted for President Trump.

I actually only watched one person´s prepared statement. To all you dRATS sycophants, millennial snowflakes, unemployed, feminist, hippies, druggies, BLM domestic terrorist, etc., you deserved to suffer her before your trip to Perdition.

As I listened to Dianne Feinstein´s direct assault at not just Judge Neil Gorsuch´s nomination, but President Trump, all she said for the whole time is the same dRATS litany of grievances used for every conservative candidate (and election babble) in my lifetime. That means, besides having put the millstone of abortion around her own scrawny neck and the lemmings that follow her, NONE of these problems have ever been properly addressed by Congress in all this time to be resolved. (I´m talking more than one generation, easily).

Even more remarkable was the total "fake news" summations of any of those "injustices" coming out of her mouth. She blames the rich which her and her husband are totally a member of in Kalifornia. There is no doubt left to the knowledgeable that she and her cohorts want an activists and not a constitutionalist"choice that Neil Gorsuch is. To attempt to belittle a great jurist before her brings shame to the current selection process for letting it happen.

This is not the one they are going to die on the hill for.
It´s when they have to replace Bryer, Ginsburg or Kennedy that will result in the blood spilling.
Unfortunately for them, the nuclear option WILL be used.

Gorsuch will be confirmed. Next week, I reckon. But, the next one, likely Ginsberg´s replacement probably in the post mid terms, will be confirmed by a super Republican majority.

Senator Orrin Hatch (R., Utah) introduced a bill to the Senate on March 14 that would institute new protections for gun owners who travel across state lines with their firearms. The Lawful Interstate Transportation of Firearms Act, also introduced by Rep. Morgan Griffith (R., Va.) to the House of Representatives in January, would expand and clarify the interstate firearm transportation rules instituted under the Firearms Owners´ Protection Act of 1986. Under that law, Americans are allowed to transport firearms from one state where they can legally possess them to another so long as certain requirements are met, such as the

Shakespeare’s play Othello showcases the most vile character in all of drama -- a man often referred to as “honest Iago.” He is especially horrifying because he is charming, efficient, and intelligent, but mostly because he often breaks the fourth wall, looks the audience right in the eye, and tells us what his next diabolical move will be. We’re in on it whether we want to be or not. He creates chaos just because he can and we are powerless to stop him. Watching the news these days feels much like watching Othello. Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro brought the house down tonight with her fiery monologue calling for Paul Ryan to step down as Speaker of the House. (Photo) Judge Pirro: “Paul Ryan needs to step down as Speaker of the House. The reason? He failed to deliver the votes on his healthcare bill the one to repeal and replace Obamacare. The one that he had seven years to work on. The one he hid under lock and key in the basement of Congress. The one that had to be pulled to prevent the embarrassment of not having enough votes to pass.” Judge

A Make America Great Again rally that began with a dove release to symbolize peace turned violent when supporters were doused with pepper spray by anti-Trump protesters in Southern California. The attack, which led to three arrests, came before the president´s tweet thanking people for rallies. President Trump said on Twitter: ´Thanks you for all of the Trump Rallies today. Amazing support. We will all MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!´ In addition to the scuffle in SoCal, protesters clashed with MAGA marchers in Philadelphia and in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. There were also rallies across the country in places such as

President Donald Trump met with some of America´s most distinguished and decorated war heroes at the White House on Friday afternoon, ahead of Saturday´s official Medal of Honor Day commemoration day. Twenty five Medal of Honor recipients — a third of the living recipients — met with Trump in the Oval Office as he recognized their acts of selfless heroics on the battlefield during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the War in Afghanistan. ´Each of you has risen above and beyond the call of duty in defense of our country, our people, and our flag,´

Liberal Media Narratives from

It is one of the most famous liberal media narratives in American history. On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. For anyone alive in the day — I was in the 7th grade — it was a horrific moment. The America of 1963 was experiencing the beginning turmoil of the Civil Rights movement. There were a handful of military “advisers” in a far off place called Vietnam. But for the most part the country was at peace, its eyes already trained on Thanksgiving, a mere week distant, and the Christmas holidays that would follow.

House Republican leaders abruptly pulled a Republican rewrite of the nation’s health-care system from consideration on Friday, a dramatic acknowledgment that they are so far unable to repeal the Affordable Care Act. “We just pulled it,” President Trump told The Washington Post in a telephone interview. The decision came a day after President Trump delivered an ultimatum to lawmakers — and represented multiple failures for the new president and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.). The decision means the Affordable Care Act remains in place, at least for now, and a major GOP campaign promise goes unfulfilled. It also casts

Republican officials in Congress and the White House are now openly discussing finding a GOP replacement to Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) as Speaker of the House, after Ryan failed to pass the American Health Care Act out of the House and misled the public and President Donald Trump when he promised repeatedly the bill would pass. Ryan was caught on an audio file from October—obtained by Breitbart News and published a couple weeks ago—saying he is “not going to defend Donald Trump—not now, not in the future.” While the audio file does not make the comments clear, Ryan’s staff later claimed

Nearly three months after the Trump clan moved into their new posh Washington neighborhood, neighbors of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have expressed their fury over the presidential family´s lack of community etiquette that is ´ruining´ the suburb. Residents have complained their new neighbors have been hogging parking on an already crowded street and leaving trash bags rotting on the curb. A big part of the complaint: a huge security presence, with even a trip to the playground requiring three vans. They have groused that sidewalks have been closed, public parking overrun and that the family and their staff can´t

BRUSSELS—Republican Senator John McCain revealed he hasn’t met the President Donald Trump in person since he took office, and he urged Trump to reach out to his opponents—Democratic and otherwise—ala Ronald Reagan if he wants to repeal Obamacare. “Do some outreach. Get to know some of these Democratic leaders,” he said. “You can find common ground.” McCain said he’d met Trump “some years ago” when he was a businessman, but had not met him since. McCain said he did speak “almost daily” to National Security Adviser Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, however. “He doesn’t seem to

Donald Trump had heard enough about policy and process. It was Thursday afternoon and members of the House Freedom Caucus were peppering the president with wonkish concerns about the American Health Care Act—the language that would leave Obamacare’s “essential health benefits” in place, the community rating provision that limited what insurers could charge certain patients, and whether the next two steps of Speaker Paul Ryan’s master plan were even feasible—when Trump decided to cut them off."Forget about the little "stuff", Trump said, according to multiple sources in the room. "Let´s focus on the big picture here."The group of roughly 30

Broken promises are as old as politics itself, and there are many famous examples of them in modern history. President George H.W. Bush´s "read my lips, no new taxes" pledge comes immediately to mind, as does President Bill Clinton reneging on his middle-class tax cut, and President Barack Obama never closing Guantanamo Bay. But in each of those cases, those were promises that were made in a given campaign by a given politician. The promise of Obamacare repeal is much different. Republicans ran on repealing and replacing Obamacare for seven years, over the course of four election cycles. They won the

Brexit was caused in part by climate change, former US Vice-President Al Gore has said, warning that extreme weather is creating political instability “the world will find extremely difficult to deal with”. Mr Gore, speaking at an event in which he previewed a sequel to his landmark 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, said the “principal” cause of the Syrian Civil War had been the worst drought in 900 years, which forced 1.5 million people to move from the countryside to the cities. There they met a similar number of Iraqis who had fled the conflict in their homeland, creating powder keg conditions
