Sworn Donald Trump enemy John McCain admitted Wednesday that he passed the dossier of claims of a Russian blackmail plot against the president-elect. The Arizona senator issued a public statement amid mounting questions of his exact role in the affair - and how a document riddled with errors and unverifiable claims came to be published. ´Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public,´ he said. ´Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI. ´That has been the extent of
McCain should be stripped of the Armed Forces Committee Chairmanship. This is the most dirty act of betrayal possible. The man did not even have the courtesy to call Trump, and ask him, because he was so anxious to stab Trump in the back. McCain is persona non grata, and forever branded with lying traitor on his forehead. McCain has not met a terrorist that he does not want to arm, or a country he does not want to get the US involved in militarily. McCain should court martialed out of the Senate.
The pressure should be unrelenting for McCain to do the honorable thing and resign. This was such an act of betrayal and dishonesty, that his name should forever be associated with one of the most despicable politically motivated deeds in modern history. He must be confronted and then denounced.
To poster #5, McPain is despised by the POWs he was interned with. He was a traitor then and is a traitor now. If it weren´t for his dad and grandfather being respected flag officers, admirals at that, he would have been fired for crashing not one, but five navy aircraft. I guess that makes him an Ace. Not!
I call AZ home and I am totally disgusted with both of the senators from this great state of Arizona. I hope Dr. Kelli Ward tromps on Flake (great name for a true flake) and brings some dignity to the US Senate.
Some posters don’t seem to understand that a person doesn’t have to be elected unanimously to an office. Not every person in a state has to vote for a senator for them to be elected. I am stunned at the ignorance displayed on this. If someone we don’t like is elected, it doesn’t mean that every person or every Republican voted for them. Just enough votes for a majority.
Before posting such opinions, posters should go to the respective state offices that give the registration count just before elections. (In California, that is the office of the Secretary of State.) In California, they’d find out that Republican registrations in the millions are seriously outnumbered by Democrats in more millions. Outnumbered Republican voters should not be held responsible and slammed for what happens in elections.
#23: that´s the concern. He switches to Dem as does Graham and causes major problems for Trump. I´d love it if Manchin crossed over as he´s said he might. That would take some of the power away from the bobsy twins.
Best if Arizona were to just recall him or demand his resignation and then replace him. What a horrible man he´s become.
McCain would never, ever have been selected to become a naval aviator, being at the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy (894 out of 899). Only because of nepotism; his father and grandfather being Admirals, was he allowed to fly. He was known as McNasty in high school. How this aged p**** keeps being re-elected is sad. He should be in a rest home.
#5 he was no hero. All of that is a myth. I remember very well when this snake came back from Vietnam. He should be kicked out of the senate, Arizona should recall him, he should be removed from his committees and also stripped of his military commission and benefits.
McCain was such a lousy pilot that he destroyed 5 aircraft before his last one. He and Kerry conspired to cover up and hide the survival of American POWs in VietNam. This guy was never a hero. Being shot down and taken prisoner doesn´t make you a hero. Thank God that he wasn´t elected as President, as he is nuttier than most demoncrats. Most people voted for Palin rather than McCain.
What drove me crazy was watching his little trollop of a daughter sitting on the panel of One lucky guy (or whatever it´s called) opining about the ramifications of the dossier that her stinkin´ dad gave to the FBI. She was acting as if the fake document fell from the sky. Get her off that couch, Fox!
McCain just aligned himself with the likes of Jane Fonda. Willing to say or do anything for personal benefit. He can no longer complain about Fonda´s taking prisoners´ precious notes and pleas for help and giving them to the enemy.
If he ever was an American hero, which I don´t agree with, he is no longer. If you do one thing good, then spend the rest of your life shi-ing on America, you no longer get credit for that one thing. And, that is what McCain has done.
A true hero from the Hanoi Hilton was Rep. Sam Johnson from Texas. They barely talk. McTraitor broke faster than anyone else in the Hilton, giving him great infamy among the rest, who STILL tended his wounds and nursed him to health, although they witnessed others who died from their torture. McVain has been living with demons ever since.
His traitorous ways have just come home to roost. There is no way out of this one. He´d doomed. If McChins McConnell doesn´t oust him after inauguration and replace him with Ted Cruz, there will be war in the GOP.
A top aide on Sunday defended President Donald Trump´s invitation to his Philippines counterpart to visit Washington, saying the need to rally Asian allies over North Korea overshadowed concerns about President Rodrigo Duterte´s brutal war on drugs. On Saturday, the White House said Trump had invited Duterte in a ´friendly´ call in which the leaders discussed the Filipino president´s fight against drugs and the two countries´ alliance. The statement touched only lightly on Duterte´s brutal crackdown on crime, which has claimed thousands of lives and drawn international condemnation. But when White House chief of staff Reince Priebus was asked Sunday
President Trump will turn to the same list of conservative potential U.S. Supreme Court nominees he rolled out during the campaign to fill the next vacancy on the high court, he told The Washington Times in an exclusive interview in which he also predicted his first pick, Justice Neil Gorsuch, will leave a lasting impression on the court. Mr. Trump said he’s heard rumors about the chances that one of the justices will retire when the current court session ends in June, but said he doesn’t have any inside knowledge. “I don’t know. I have a lot of respect for
Although the media would not report it, Candidate Donald Trump had massive crowds at his rallies throughout the Presidential campaign. We started keeping track of the crowds at Trump’s rallies compared to those at Democrat Candidate Hillary Clinton’s rallies in August. The results were staggering with Trump outpacing Clinton in rally attendance by more than 12 to one. This was one of the many reasons we projected Candidate Trump would win the election. Last night, President Trump held a rally in Harrisburg, PA, instead of attending the White House Correspondent’s Dinner. Again the main stream media (MSM) will not report
Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said President Donald Trump should release his tax returns. Host Jake Tapper asked, “Given that President Trump is proposing changes that could benefit him personally by tens of millions if not hundreds of millions of dollars, do you think that the American people have a right to see his tax returns so that they can know how this plan would affect his bottom line?” McCain answered, “I think I’ve said all along I thought every candidate for president should disclose their tax returns. I haven’t changed.”
The campaign committee of former Rep. Corrine Brown (D., Fla.), who is currently on trial for corruption charges, spent thousands on hotels and small travel expenses after Brown was defeated in the Democratic primary last year. Brown, who lost to former Florida State Sen. Al Lawson in the August 2016 primary, spent $11,278 on "lodging" at a Marriot Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland in late September 2016, nearly one month after the election. In addition to the hotel expenditures, the campaign disclosed three "petty cash" transactions totaling more than $2,000 during the two-week span between October 16 and November 4. A
It is no secret that President Donald Trump loves to bash the mainstream media. Nary a day goes by when he doesn’t call the press “fake news.” So, there should be little shock that during an interview with CBS News’ John Dickerson that aired this morning on Face the Nation, the president took to ridiculing the program right to Dickerson’s face. During the wide-ranging conversation, Dickerson brought up Trump’s comments in which he stated that he thought the job of president “would be easier.” This led to POTUS giving a long-winded explanation about how much he loves being president, that
Five people were killed and nearly 50 people were taken to hospitals after a series of tornadoes hit East Texas on Saturday. Powerful storms swept through Canton and nearby areas about 50 miles east of Dallas, leaving behind a trail of overturned vehicles, mangled trees and damaged homes. ETMC Regional Heathcare Systems hospitals in the area received at least 47 patients following the storm. One person was in critical condition, spokeswoman Rebecca Berkley said. (Photos/Video) She said a handful of other patients were en route Saturday night, though none with life-threatening injuries. Several tornadoes were reported in the area, but
White House reporters launched a hard-hitting attack on Donald Trump Saturday at the annual Correspondents´ Association dinner - which the President pointedly snubbed. The president of the White House Correspondents Association, Jeff Mason, used the get-together at the Washington Hilton to strongly criticize a president who has used his first 100 days of power as an opportunity to attack the media. The absence of President Donald Trump, who has called the media ´fake,´ ´dishonest´ and even ´the enemy of the people,´ marks the first time a president has declined since Ronald Reagan in 1981, who was, at the time, recovering
Washington- Political analyst David Gergen delivered a harsh critique of President Trump´s campaign-style rally Saturday night in an appearance on CNN´s "Newsroom." "To bring your campaign speech into the presidency is something presidents rarely do," said Gergen, who has been a White House adviser to four presidents. "This was the most divisive speech I´ve ever heard from a sitting American president." Trump´s delivered a rousing address to a crowd of supporters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania instead of attending the White House Correspondents´ Association dinner in Washington. The nearly-hour long speech began with attacks on the press and covered his tax plan,
He has floated some conspiracy theories for years, but now President Donald Trump will get to play a crucial role in the long-running saga over the government´s Kennedy assassination records. The 1992 JFK Assassination Records Collection Act, signed by President George H.W. Bush, set a 25-year timetable for declassification of assassination records dealing with President Kennedy. The law set up a single collection of records at the National Archives, and set up a process for declassification. The law required the release of all government records dealing with the assassination within 25 years – with the exception of those the president certifies for
When someone is honestly 55 percent right, that’s very good and there’s no use wrangling. And if someone is 60 percent right, it’s wonderful, it’s great luck, and let him thank God. But what’s to be said about 75 percent right? Wise people say this is suspicious. Well, and what about 100 percent right? Whoever says he’s 100 percent right is a fanatic, a thug, and the worst kind of rascal. — An old Jew of Galicia In the final stretch of last year’s presidential race, Hillary Clinton and her team thought they were, if not 100 percent right, then very close.
New york - Two conservative journalists have sparked outcry on social media by making what some have interpreted as a white supremacist hand symbol at a recent visit to the White House. Freelance journalist Mike Cernovich and Cassandra Fairbanks, a reporter for Russian news outlet Sputnik, posed for a picture behind the podium in the White House briefing room. In the photo, they are making a hand sign that can be used to signify “white power.” “Just two people doing a white power hand gesture in the White House,” Fusion senior reporter Emma Roller tweeted, alongside a screenshot of the picture.
Muslim reformer Zuhdi Jasser has recently attacked leaders of the anti-Jihad movement in America. He equated them with jihadists when he called them the derogatory word, alt-jihadists, meaning that Americans who speak and write against the evils of Islamic jihad and sharia are just as bad as jihadists. (snip)I have always respected what Zuhdi Jasser was trying to do and avoided contradicting him in public, even though I do not believe that Islam is reformable. I have kept my opinion to myself regarding the false hope Muslim reformers are giving to the Americans regarding Islam. But when Jasser attacked leaders
Washington - Prominent Washington journalists, if not Hollywood stars, celebrated the First Amendment during the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, an event that lacked the glitter of past years because of the absence of the president of the United States. (Snip) “We’ve got to address the elephant that’s not in the room,” cracked the entertainment headliner, Hasan Minhaj of “The Daily Show” on TV’s Comedy Central. “The leader of our country is not here. And that’s because he lives in Moscow. It’s a very long flight. As for the other guy, I think he’s in Pennsylvania because he can’t take a joke.”
