The family of Ahmed Mohamed - better known as "Clock Boy - who brought a hoax bomb to his Middle School claiming it was a clock, had filed a defamation lawsuit against several parties who claimed on a Glenn Beck TV show that there was a connection between the hoax bomb and "the attendant media frenzy created in large part by his father Mohamed, civilization jihad, and the Counsel on American-Islamic Relations (“CAIR”)," (snip) The 3 hour court hearing did not go well for Clock Boy and his family: During the hearing, AFLC co-founder and senior counsel David Yerushalmi explained to

Interesting for the detail provided. I hadn´t heard the term ´civilization jihad´ before.

FTA: "Now it appears that not only did the Mohameds lose the suit, they are probably going to be liable for tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees run up by the defendants."

The Mohameds are simply the vehicle. Some prince or sheik will cover the minor expenses the suit incurs. What´s "tens of thousands" to the jihadi cause?

During the lengthy hearing, Judge Moore pressed Mohamed’s lawyer, Fort Worth attorney Susan Hutchison, to provide any facts that would suggest that Hanson and the other defendants had said anything false or defamatory about Mohamed or his son during the television broadcasts. After spending a painfully embarrassing 15 minutes flipping through reams of paper, Mohamed’s lawyer was unable to provide any such evidence.evidence.

Case dismissed!

Chelsea ‘never gets a break’

We live in a time of “fake news” awareness, so you’d think that someone at the Los Angeles Times would know better than to publish a headline like this: “Just like her mother, Chelsea Clinton never gets a break” Let’s leave the aside the reference to Hillary Clinton, who magically was able to turn $1,000 into $100,000 in cattle futures with no regulatory consequence and delete 30,000 evidentiary emails without prosecution. Or a break. Chelsea is being groomed for political power, and all the powers of modern propaganda are being mobilized to convince voters that she has some claim to

Tucker Carlson demolishes hotshot lawyer

Last night on his eponymous Fox News program, Tucker Carlson interviewed David Moyse, an attorney hired to defend 18 year-old Henry Sanchez-Milian, who is in this country illegally, against a charge of rape against a 14 year old girl in a bathroom at a Rockville, MD, high school. Moyse is one of those youngish (in his 30s) lawyers who gets himself on lists of up-and-comers, like this one, and is a name partner in a criminal defense firm.In going on TV to make the case for his client, Counselor Moyse found himself being cross-examined and saying something he soon had

Liberal Judges Unwittingly Declare ObamaCare
Religious Mandate Unconstitutional

They don’t realize it, but liberals have just declared that Obama’s HHS mandate -- which forced Catholics to cooperate with providing abortion and contraception -- is unconstitutional. The new interpretation of the Establishment Clause espoused by the activist judges who are striking down Trump’s EO is that anything that has a disparate impact on a religious group is unconstitutional. The rulings by activist judges declaring Trump’s EO on immigration to be unconstitutional were based on arguments that if the EO/law had a disparate impact on any faith, or that if the person behind the EO/law ever said anything that could be construed

Why is Sears dying?

Sears is on the verge of declaring bankruptcy. All department stores have faced increased competition from Amazon.com, but Sears is out of cash and about to fail. Why? Because the CEO, Eddie Lampert, is a guy with nutty ideas who treated Sears like a dotcom, conveniently forgetting that it has physical stores that need maintaining. (snip) It´s closing hundreds of stores. Others are in shambles, with leaking ceilings and broken escalators. In some, employees hang bedsheets to shield shoppers from sections that stand empty. Before Sears and Kmart, Lampert had no experience in retail. The big plan he hoped would transform Sears

Was there anyone more pious, anyone more inclined to stroke his chin and intone for guarding national security in the wake of the Wikileaks revelations than Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta? Turns out the wily Democratic operative was neck-deep with the Russians he intoned against all along, through a Russian-financed company called Joule, according to a new report from the Daily Caller News Foundation. The problem here is that the Russian oligarchs he´s been consorting with are so dirty even Putin is after them. That blows apart Podesta´s dishonest narrative about "Russians hacked the election" and rival Donald Trump

A rock has been turned over in Chicago, and all kinds of revelations are scattering out. Bill Ruthhart and Hal Dardick report in the Chicago Tribune: Mayor Rahm Emanuel´s personal email accounts have served as a private avenue of influence where executives and investors sought favorable action from City Hall, raising questions about whether some of the messages crossed the line into lobbying and violated the city´s ethics law, the Chicago Tribune has found. Usually, such requests don´t become public. But late last year, pressure from open records lawsuits resulted in Emanuel releasing a trove of emails in which he conducted public

Fox News anchor Bret Baier likes to end his Special Report broadcast with the claim that Fox News is “fair, balanced and unafraid.” Well, Fox News seems not to be fair when it throws contributor Judge Andrew Napolitano under the bus for linking surveillance of Team Trump to Team Obama’s links with British intelligence. Apparently, Fox News isn’t as “fair and balanced” as it pretends to be. While it endlessly repeats totally unsubstantiated claims of Trump critics of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as repeatedly dismissing Trump claims of Obama administration surveillance of Trump tower, they have

A group of Senate Democrats is beginning to explore trying to extract concessions from Republicans in return for allowing Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch to be confirmed, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. The lawmakers worry that Gorsuch could be confirmed whether Democrats try to block him or not — and Democrats would be left with nothing to show for it. That would be a bitter pill after the GOP blocked Merrick Garland for nearly a year. The deal Democrats would be most likely to pursue, the sources said, would be to allow confirmation of Gorsuch in exchange for a

British Lawmaker Lord Digby Jones does not believe the religion of the London attacker is pertinent, The Washington Post reports. Jones comments come in the wake of a tweet by Donald Trump Jr. criticizing London Mayor Sadiq Khan for once telling citizens that terrorist attacks are “part and parcel” part of living in a big city. Some British lawmakers drew offense from the tweet, saying Trump was attacking the mayor in the midst of a terrorist situation. “You’re safer in London than you’ve ever been,” Jones declared. He continued, “If this turns out to be an act of Islamic terrorism,

Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Trump, is so New Jersey that her Secret Service codename is “Blueberry,” but what many may not know, is her grandfather allegedly belonged to the Mafia in the 80s. Jimmy “The Brute” DiNatale, Conway’s late grandfather, allegedly had mob ties and was a “significant criminal associate" of Nicodemo “Little Nicky” Scarfo – the heir to the Bruno crime family based in Philadelphia, according to a memorial service page and law enforcement officials who spoke to the Philly Voice. The page lists Kellyanne Elizabeth Fitzpatrick Conway as his granddaughter and describes DiNatale as “a reputed Bruno-Scarfo

In the last three months of the Obama presidency, significant personal information from and about the Trump transition was collected and widely disseminated at intelligence agencies, according to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes. Dozens of intelligence reports provided to Nunes by an unnamed whistleblower were floating around during the sensitive transition period following the election, he said. The information collection itself may have technically been legal, but the failure to properly mask the information “alarmed” the California congressman, who notified the White House of the surveillance and dissemination of information on Wednesday afternoon. Many of the reporters present didn’t seem to

Democrats plan to filibuster Neil Gorsuch’s nomination for the Supreme Court, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) said Thursday. Speaking on the Senate floor Thursday morning, Schumer said Gorsuch -- who is three days into his confirmation hearings with the Senate Judiciary Committee -- will need 60 votes to be confirmed. Currently, the Senate has 52 Republicans and 48 Democrats. “After careful deliberation, I have concluded that I cannot support judge Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court,” he said. “His nomination will have a cloture vote. He will have to earn 60 votes for confirmation. My vote will
