Hillary Clinton’s political career is probably over, but just because she lost the presidential election to Donald Trump doesn’t mean she wasn’t prepared to win. Axios reporter Mike Allen has revealed Hillary’s list of prospective nominees for important cabinet posts in her administration, and it includes a number of interesting choices. John Podesta, her campaign chairman who accidentally exposed his entire email account to Russian hackers, was listed as the frontrunner to be Hillary Clinton’s secretary of state. Vice President Joe Biden was reportedly also being considered for the position. Facebook executive and Lean In author Sheryl Sandberg was in
Comments: Looking over that list sure does make you breathe a sigh of relief. Can you imagine if Podesta was Secretary of State? He would have been under the direct control of his BFF (like all of them) George Soros.
Podesta, isn´t that rich. What was that pick about, to see who can have the least secure guardianship of our most classified secrets? Was this supposed to show Hillary has a sense of humor? Leave it at Zanies.
Now there´s a clown posse for you. They probably thought Schumer would be the head clown in the Senate, and Pelosi in the House. But they all got to jump into the barrel or hop the wall when the bull got loose.
Yikes. Neera Tanden for Secretary of Health and Human Services? I turn of the TV whenever that yakking robot shows up. There was a Podesta email on Wikileaks where Tanden spoke rather derisively of Hillary, implying Hillary was clueless and out-of-touch (or drunk).
Biker Veterans for Trump We dodged a nuclear holocaust! America is becoming great again! Let´s match Brexit 17% economic increase! Trump will do it--Killary is all talk! Sharpton, Obama, Jarrett, Soros, and Killary all belong in confinement! Lock ´em up!
Maybe I don´t get out much, but I can´t ever recall an article like this on the loser´s Cabinet of Curiosities before. I grew up in the Deep South but all this romancin´ The Lost Cause is enough to make an Ashley Wilkes barf.
Not just a bullet Lucianne, more like a Gatling gun full of them. All aimed at the American people. One of the biggest monsters in politics as SecState? After finding that out earlier today, I could not read anymore. My stomach and BP could not stand it.
#6 Google John Podesta and brother Tony/Russia you will find out he made a lot of money investing in Russia which could have been illegal. But no one in the media touched this story. Donald Trump touched on it vaguely once.
The federal judge who ruled against President Trump’s effort to withhold money from so-called sanctuary cities had no business presiding over the case. The appearance of partiality should have been enough for Judge William Orrick to disqualify himself. His established record of political and personal bias demanded recusal. I’m betting he didn’t even consider it. Orrick came into the case with glaring conflicts of interest. First, he was an accomplished “bundler” for Barack Obama, raising over $200,000 and personally donating more than $30,000. Later, he was rewarded with a federal judgeship. So, his political favoritism is more conspicuous than it
In the past week, vandals have repeatedly defaced property at the prestigious University of Texas-Austin, spray-painting a hammer and sickle symbol and words like “rapist,” “racist” and “kill frat boys” on at least four fraternity houses. Last Friday, the vandals published an anonymous manifesto on It’s Going Down, a website that describes itself as “a media platform for revolutionary anarchist, anti-fascist, and autonomous anti-capitalist and anti-colonial movements.” In it, the vandals urge students to join them in terrorizing fraternities. The self-professed “Vandals of UT” say they are responding to no specific incident but “the everyday crisis that is rape culture,
Katie wrote yesterday about Bill Nye´s rather, um, abrupt departure from his "The Science Guy" persona from the 90s. Nye, the star of a new Netflix show called "Bill Nye Saves The World," also has some rather interesting thoughts on human population. Namely, he mused over the idea that people in the developed world should be "penalized" for having "extra kids" who will then potentially contribute to climate change. Nye dedicated the 13th and final episode of the first season of Bill Nye Saves The World to discussing overpopulation and how the world´s population has grown rapidly since he was
Rep. Michele Hoitenga (R) said that the story of a Detroit-area doctor being charged with genital mutilation of young girls motivated her to sponsor a proposal that would ban the use of foreign countries’ laws in Michigan courtrooms. Although House Bill 4499 does not mention it by name, Hoitenga also wrote in an email to her colleagues that Dr. Jumana Nagarwala, who faces federal charges of genital mutilation, was “practicing a fundamental version of Sharia Law.” Democrats and civil rights activists didn’t wait to pounce on the legislation that Hoitenga offered April 17. Rep. Abdullah Hammoud (D) immediately accused the
Founder of the TMZ celebrity gossip and news website Harvey Levin blasted the media during a speaking engagement at the National Association of Broadcasters´ annual conference on Monday for criticizing his meeting with President Donald Trump last month. (Snip) Levin said he went to the White House to discuss a project and other issues, but then pointed out the "bullying in traditional media." "When you pretend like you are objective, but you´re not, and you are angry and you are trying to kill and bully, I think that is killing and I don´t think they know it yet, but I
The Senate took part in a rare White House briefing on Wednesday to hear what senior leaders described as "an urgent national security threat" posed by North Korea´s nuclear and missile programs. (Snip) New steps by the administration will include the imposition of additional economic sanctions. "The United States seeks stability and the peaceful denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. We remain open to negotiations towards that goal. However, we remain prepared to defend ourselves and our allies," Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, and Director of Intelligence Dan Coats said in a joint statement after the briefing.
Despite regularly ridiculing the United Nations and repeatedly proposing a scaled-back U.S. role in it, President Donald Trump struck a very different tone this week, calling for empowering the controversial UN dictators club to somehow “solve” the North Korea issue, Syria, and other problems. Speaking at a meeting of UN Security Council diplomats convened at the White House on Monday, Trump demanded that the UN be ready to impose new sanctions if Communist Chinese-backed North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un does not cooperate. Ironically, the dictatorship in Beijing — North Korea´s strongest ally — holds a veto-wielding seat on the
President Barack Obama considered being homosexual as a young man, according to a forthcoming biography of the president. The biography by David Garrow, “Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama,” is set to come out on May 9. Garrow wrote a Pulitzer Prize-winning biography of Martin Luther King Jr., and is a regular contributor to The New York Times and The Washington Post. SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge in San Francisco has blocked a Trump administration order to withhold funding from communities that limit cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities. U.S. District Judge William Orrick issued the temporary ruling Tuesday in a lawsuit over the executive order targeting so-called sanctuary cities. The decision will stay in place while the lawsuit moves through court. The Republican president’s administration and two California governments that sued over the order disagreed about its scope. San Francisco and Santa Clara County argued that it threatened billions of dollars in federal funding. But an attorney for the Justice Department,
It was a message repeated several times at a Democrat news conference Tuesday afternoon: Republicans, agree with us on a spending bill, or we’ll blame you for shutting down the government. And it appears that Republicans, who control all three branches of government, are listening: “Now last night, we received a bit of good news -- not just for Democrats but for the country – that the president is easing off his demands for a border wall in the government funding bill,” Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) told the news conference. “The money is better used elsewhere,” Schumer said. “If the
The “Antifa” far left Communist group has managed to get an entire parade and carnival canceled in Portland because the Multnomah County Republicans were going to be in the parade. (Photo) The communists threatened to riot, loot, assault people at the parade. The festival people decided to cancel the entire weekend of activities, which was going to be this weekend due to the threats of violence by the leftist group. The Antifa group promised to rush the parade and drag away the Republicans. “We will have two hundred or more people rush into the parade into the middle and drag
A vicious brawl, involving more than 50 teenage boys and girls, erupted at a Florida mall. The disturbing video of the fight was shared on social media, featuring a large group of teens pummeling each other outside a Rue 21 clothing store inside Orange Park Mall. The Clay County Sheriff´s Office said the incident happened Saturday. In the footage, several people are seen punching a girl on a couch. Behind them another group is seen fighting as a woman appears to try and calm things down. A third and fourth group of teens are also seen fighting in the background.
A group of executives who want to fight global warming has published a new report calling for countries to spend up to $600 billion a year over the next two decades to boost green energy deployment and energy efficiency equipment. [SNIP] To meet that goal ETC claims the world needs “investment in renewables and other low-carbon technologies some $6 trillion higher ($300 billion per year); while the largest required increases – of almost $9 trillion ($450 billion per year) – will be in more efficient energy saving equipment and buildings.” That’s a $15 trillion price tag to theoretically limit future
Chelsea Clinton urged the importance of fighting hunger as she was honored at a New York charity gala on Tuesday night. The former First Daughter, who is a Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, was presented with the City Harvest Award for Commitment for her support of the organization through volunteering with the Clinton Foundation´s Day of Action program.
