Obama plans immigration push
after fiscal crisis ends

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama said on Tuesday that stalled immigration reform would be a top priority once the fiscal crisis has been resolved. "Once that´s done, you know, the day after, I´m going to be pushing to say, call a vote on immigration reform," he told the Los Angeles affiliate of Spanish-language television network Univision. The president´s domestic agenda has been sidetracked in his second term by one problem after another. As he coped with the revelation of domestic surveillance programs, chemical weapons in Syria, and a fiscal battle that has shut down the U.S. government and threatens a debt default,

Obozo desperately wants to get the public´s mind off The Nightmare of Obamacare, as well as the jobs drought. He´s got Paul Ryan and some of the other power-hungry RINOs ready to give him a hand. It´s going to get ugly.

Because that´s just what the country needs right now. More demographic stacking of the liberal deck.

It is very painful to watch the Republic being dismantled by these dunderheads. Now they are determined and focused on one thing and that is to totally destroy the Republican Party. After that, they can finish destroying the country at their leisure. Then voilà, they will have their communist utopia.

This would spell irreversible damage to us. We need to contact our reps. Truly sad to see how hard our "leaders" work to damage the U.S.

Send McCain crawling over to the democrat side of the isle to ask of his masters what it is they wish on immigration and just give it to them. Spare us the theater this time, it’s getting old and we all know the outcome.

If GOP caves on amnesty millions of registered Republicans are finished with the party. Have the ruling class elitist "republicans" factored those defections into their equation? Makes me wonder if they are stupid, or just motivated by greed and figure
the good amnesty does for their investment portfolios trumps the destruction of the USA.

why do Lcommers know everything..
it´s a blessing..

we knew what was going on four years ago when he dragged the dems behind closed doors after even THEY intimated they would not pass obamacare..
1) he told them their sins and inferred that his allies, the MSM, might somehow get them in print..

2} he told them he´d get them re-elected BY FRAUD in the NEXT election (they just needed a tweak, then) and by GETTING MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS REGISTERED BY THE TIME OBAMACARE FINALLY PASSED - for this upcoming election..

aren´t FBI files wonderful?

I think I will quit monitoring the news. Prozac is looking better daily. I am tired of watching my country end up a third world country. The illegals if they are smart will all go back to their country of origin. They gain nothing coming to this country.

#7, I have come to the conclusion that the GOP doesn´t believe that there will be that many defections. They have bamboozled conservatives for decades and in the end, we go ahead and vote lesser of two evils. We will have to act on our threats.

"We are moving towards the creation of a different system," he added. Regarding the government´s so-called economic offensive, Ramírez stressed their new approach will focus on "production sectors so as to produce our own supplies and food." "Our economy has been under attack, and we will not wait until next year to take action; on the contrary, we have created a new exchange system, we have opened up new ways to allow the inflow of dollars," he stressed. India´s Supreme Court has created an official third sex for its transgender eunuchs and announced they will have a quota of government jobs and college places to help them overcome discrimination. The decision was met with jubilation by transgender charities who said it was a milestone in their fight against marginalisation in Indian society. "We are elated and thankful to the court," said Kalki Subramanium, a leading transgender rights activist. "The decision has come after a century of suppression and marginalisation by the legal and social systems. "This verdict is certainly landmark and a new beginning. The biggest challenge is the social recognition.

At least 12 people are dead and more than 2,000 homes have been destroyed by a large fire that wreaked havoc over the weekend in Valparaiso, Chile. Some 10,000 people have been forced to evacuate parts of the port city. Government spokesman Álvaro Elizalde says those figures are likely to go up as the fire continues to burn. The fire has been driven by strong winds, and efforts to fight the flames also have been complicated by the area´s steep terrain and lack of essential infrastructure, as NPR´s Lourdes Garcia-Navarro reports for our Newscast unit. She adds: "This is a city built on

Amnesty: President Obama often laments "our broken immigration system" as a reason for his failure to enforce its laws. But as a wave of illegals is about to descend here, the hard fact is that it´s his own policies that broke it. The nonpartisan Inter-American Development Bank and the Migration Policy Institute both reported optimal conditions for a big wave of illegal immigration into the U.S. from Mexico and Central America soon. Based on the slowdown in China´s economy, a recovery in U.S. low-skilled jobs such as construction, and rising U.S. interest rates, it´s fair enough.

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too
