President Obama said Friday that Trayvon Martin, the unarmed 17-year-old shot dead last year, could have been him as a young man. ´You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me, 35 years ago,´ Obama said in a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room. Speaking for the first time about the outcome of the Trayvon Martin case, Obama said black Americans feel pain over George Zimmerman´s acquittal for Martin´s

Really, Barack? You were a lousy student who smacked bus drivers, burglarized homes, and sold drugs and guns illegally? That could have been you? Really?

That´s quite an admission. And here we got our undies in a twist about whether Bill Clinton inhaled or not....

The great uniter speaks. What a friggin´ tool.

This man is unable to control his mouth. Just when America needs quiet, dignified leadership, we get racial pandering.

As #1 said, what a tool.

Somewhere, out there, is a ´CAC´ (Creepy Azz Cracka), who has had about enough of this snit.

It ain´t me, (wheelchair bound veteran)but I get the strong gut feeling that some old Master Sargent or Gunny has had about enough of all this.

The Department of Homeboy Security is, ironically, correct in their fear of the homicidal potential of returning veterans.

This is not a threat....just an observation.

The only way it could have been him is if he was the type of person who would be high on drugs and go around attacking someone for some perceived slight. Then again maybe it could have been him.

At 17, Obama was a student at an exclusive prep school, being raised by a white family, living in Hawaii, where skin color was irrelevant. He would have not had a problem walking through a department store. He didn´t become "black" for a long time, not till it served him politically.

I buy your discrimination story with the same grain of salt that bought Clinton´s burning churches story.

I was in the thrift store at our church yesterday and was telling the ladies about the jar of donations for an animal welfare organization and how it had been stolen at an event I was at over the weekend. A couple of black ladies were in there shopping and they must have heard the word ´stolen.´ They came to the lady in charge and said something like we may be black, but we didn´t come here to steal. We came here to buy. My friend said no one is accusing you of anything and someone was just telling a story of how some money was taken yesterday that had been given to an animal organization. I am so tired of that big chip these people wear on their shoulders, just waiting for someone to try to knock it off.

So, what 0bama was really saying was he understood that Trayvon was just as bigoted as 0bama is and always has been.

There was a racist element to the attack that ended in Trayvons´ death. IT was on the part of Trayvon, he chose to jump ugly on some "creepy-azz-cracka" because he wasn´t going to allow a white person to disrespect him. It was just poor judgement that he didn´t realize the cracka might be armed.

The more I think about this the more I suspect it was aimed at guilty white liberals. They are far more likely to accept the image of Obama as a wannabe teen gangsta without giggling than urban blacks. When I look at Obama I wish we had an exact equivalent to that wonderful British slang He´s a bit of a ponce.

Trayvon Martin´s problem was that he decided to circle back and deliver a little whoopass against a chubby, easy-going Neighborhood Watch volunteer, sucker-punched him, pinned him on the ground and beat on his face and head, and didn´t realize he was armed.

I have no doubt in my mind that if a white 17-year old had committed the exact same kind of felony aggravated assault, the results would be the same.

Only the aftermath would be different. No coast-to-coast political paroxysms of anger and grievance would be wasted on a dead white guy.

Just ahead of a possible Hillary run for the presidency, the Clinton Library released a new load of documents from President Bill Clinton’s years in the White House. One of those documents attempts to explain Hillary´s "vast right-wing conspiracy" claim in which the Clinton administration accused Republican staffers of colluding with "extremists" on the Internet to hurt the Clintons. On January 27, 1998, Hillary Clinton appeared on NBC´s Today Show. During her interview with Matt Lauer, she claimed that a "vast right-wing conspiracy" had been trying to destroy her husband "since the day he announced for president." That interview drew

According to PolicyMic.com, Ommanney was sent to photograph American gun owners for the German magazine Stern. In so doing, he discovered "people who are often far from the stereotypical vision of the American ´gun-nut.´" He found a teenager named Elizabeth, who posed with a Walther handgun "in front of a floral wallpaper backdrop." He found entire families--mother, father, daughter, son--who posed with their firearms of choice. Ommanney also found one woman with a pump shotgun for home

As the nation awaits Hillary Clinton´s decision of whether or not she will run for president in 2016, a cache of 7,500 pages of newly released documents from Bill Clinton´s years in the White House show some familiar political themes. One revelation is that Bill Clinton worried that a massive new healthcare scheme would cause Americans to lose their insurance. In 1993, the President allowed his wife, first lady Hillary Clinton, to become the face of an Obamacare-like takeover of the nation´s healthcare system. The plan was sarcastically dubbed Hillarycare. But as these internal documents show, in what is now a

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

WASHINGTON AND NEW YORK - In September 2001, as the U.S. reeled from the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Vladimir Putin supported Washington´s imminent invasion of Afghanistan in ways that would have been inconceivable during the Cold War. He agreed that U.S. planes carrying humanitarian aid could fly through Russian air space. He said the U.S. military could use airbases in former Soviet republics in Central Asia. And he ordered his generals to brief their U.S. counterparts on their own ill-fated 1980s occupation of Afghanistan. During Putin´s visit to President George W. Bush´s Texas ranch two

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after
