On March 21, 2011, two full days after US President Obama launched 112 tomahawk missiles against Libya without notification to, or approval of, the US Congress, Obama finally notified Congress in “efforts to keep the Congress fully informed, consistent with the War Powers Resolution." July 12, 2013 is a month after Obama promised heavy weapons anti-Assad rebels to check the Iranian-armed Hizbullah in Syria, no U.S. arms have remotely reached the Syrian rebels. Iraq claims it is "unable" to stop its neighbor Iran from transferring weapons to Syria through its airspace.
Comments: Interesting and informed article regarding King Barry Hussein´s motives.
FTA: Obama is reversing Churchill´s Middle East colonization which divided the Muslims, and was meant to enable Great Britain to to conquer the Muslims. Instead, the anti-colonialist Obama wants the US to unify the Muslims, which will cause the United States to lose to the Muslim world. It seems as though Obama is planning to be the Che-Mao-Bolivar-Saladin of what his Middle Eastern friends intend to create: the world´s soon-to-be-established Muslim Caliphate.
Don´t forget Jordan in your list of our allies. Good King Abdullah has exposed the stupidity of this bunch. Administration officials told him that the road to democracy in the region went thru the Brotherhood. Not anymore. If Obama made the statement the article claims I´d guess it came from Samantha Power. A shia-sunni superpower. What could go wrong.
Samantha Power in 2002 said Americans must spend billions to make a massive military presence in Palestine to free it from its oppressors. Obama and the GOP (meaning McCain, Graham, and Boehner) have essentially accomplished this by putting weapons in the hands of every man, woman, and child in the Middle East and Africa.
Mitsubishi is the latest in a long line of automakers to slash prices on an electric car, the unpronounceable, unfortunately named i-MiEV. The model is now the cheapest EV on the market, yet it’s still hard to imagine many drivers excitedly running out to buy one. Overall, American consumers are paying more for cars. The average price paid for a new light vehicle in November was $32,769, up 3% compared to October, and 1.1% year over year, according to Kelley Blue Book. Yet as average prices rise, one segment of the new car market has gotten markedly cheaper. “Electric vehicles had
Nelson Mandela is being remembered across the world (and political spectrum) for his heroic, life-long battle against apartheid and injustice in South Africa. But with all the accolades being thrown around, it’s easy to forget that the U.S., in particular, hasn’t always had such a friendly relationship with Mandela -- and that in fact, as late as 2008, the Nobel Prize winner and former president was still on the U.S. terrorism watch list.(snip)Eventually, of course, the U.S. did pass economic sanctions, which are widely credited for helping topple -- at least in part -- the apartheid regime. Mandela went on
President Barack Obama and his family will spend Christmas in Hawaii again this year, and are expected to stay in the same beachfront Kailua neighborhood where they´ve spent the past five year-end holidays. Hawaii News Now reports the Obamas are expected to arrive around Dec. 20 and stay until Jan. 5. While Obama typically spends a lot of time at the nearby Marine Corps Base Hawaii at Kaneohe Bay, working out in the gym and playing golf, he does tend to venture out to the same local businesses each trip. Among his favorites are Island Snow and Buzz´s Original Steakhouse in Kailua,
On a break from pretending to believe they live in a country bristling with violent white racists, the Non-Fox Media have been trying to debunk stories about the "Knockout Game," in which young black males approach random strangers and try to knock them out with one punch. The left´s leading line of defense against the Knockout Game is to argue that young black males have always been violent, so, hey, this is nothing new. You´re welcome, black America! In Slate, Emma Roller wearily recounted other episodes of black-on-white violence in order to announce: "The ´Knockout Game´ is a myth." Reminiscing about the flash mobs
CASPER, Wyo. — The Power Company of Wyoming plans to apply next month for a federal permit that will allow the firm to kill a limited number of eagles every year at its planned Chokecherry-Sierra Madre wind farm in Carbon County. The decision of the Denver-based developer to seek what is known as an “eagle-take permit” from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reflects what may be the beginning of a trend, industry observers said. Fish and Wildlife has never granted a take permit to a wind developer, but is currently considering several applications, said Dave Carlson, National Environmental Protection
President Obama has declared his renewed commitment to fighting income inequality. But we now have five years of evidence to draw upon, and it’s clear that Obama’s methods in this regard have failed miserably. In fact, they’ve worked about as well as Obamacare. Obama’s approach to addressing income inequality, of course, is to funnel ever more money and power to Washington, while promoting a culture of cozy cronyism between Big Government and Big Business (especially Big “Green” Business). When having a well-positioned team of Washington lawyers and lobbyists becomes a necessary prerequisite to getting ahead, that’s hardly conducive to Main St.
CHAMBLEE, Ga. -- One Saturday in November, Kaveh Kamooneh drove his Nissan Leaf to Chamblee Middle School, where his 11-year-old son was playing tennis. Kamooneh had taken the liberty of charging the electric car with an exterior outlet at the school. Within minutes of plugging in the car, he says a Chamblee police officer appeared. "He said that he was going to charge me with theft by taking because I was taking power, electricity from the school," Kamooneh said. Kamooneh says he had charged his car for 20 minutes, drawing about a nickel´s worth of juice. Don Francis of Clean Cities Atlanta, an
Last summer on his $100 million family tour of Africa, Barack Obama hoped for a priceless photo op with Nelson Mandela, the ailing freedom pioneer who went from prison cell to the presidency of South Africa. Mandela´s family suggested that wouldn’t happen. So, the Obamas did a photo op in Mandela´s former prison cell. Which Obama’s White House quickly tweeted upon word of the icon´s passing at 95. [Skip] But Obama was also caught staring at television coverage of Mandela’s passing, which became Obama’s Photo of the Day.
Hardly a week goes by without Hillary Clinton receiving another award. Last month she was named a “Global Champion” by the International Medical Corps, received the American Patriot Award at the National Defense University Foundation and the Hermandad Award from the Mexican American Leadership Initiative. [Snip] At this rate, if a bunch of elderly left-wing Swedes toss her the Nobel Peace Prize early on, the way they did to Obama, it will barely rate mention among all the other glittering trophies that have been bestowed on a woman whose only actual accomplishment was being married to a crooked governor with
Speaker John Boehner said his party should support gay Republican congressional candidates and urged his colleagues to “be a little more sensitive” when running against women. “Some of our members just aren’t as sensitive as they ought to be,” Boehner said. When asked if he thinks his party should support gay candidates, Boehner simply said: “I do.”
In February, the Bush family’s personal emails were hacked by Guccifer, a hacker who uncovered photographs of former President George H. W. Bush in a hospital bed and George W. Bush’s oil paintings in the process. It seems Guccifer has struck again, this time targeting former President Bill Clinton and the Clinton Library. The hacker has reportedly uncovered doodles of Clinton drawing on what were, at the time, classified documents. Among the doodles is apparently a picture of a penis. The document uncovered is a briefing of the strategic measures the United States could take prior Clinton’s decision to intervene in
Denver - A baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex ceremony must serve gay couples despite his religious beliefs or face fines, a judge said Friday. The order from administrative law judge Robert N. Spencer said Masterpiece Cakeshop in suburban Denver discriminated against a couple "because of their sexual orientation by refusing to sell them a wedding cake for their same-sex marriage." The order says the cake-maker must "cease and desist from discriminating" against gay couples. Although the judge did not impose fines in this case, the business will face penalties if it continues to turn away gay
Former President Bill Clinton shared an anecdote regarding Nelson Mandela and the aftermath of his impeachment Friday on CNN. Clinton revealed shortly after the “impeachment business” finished on Capitol Hill, Rep. Henry Hyde (R., Ill.) who managed the impeachment trial requested a meeting at the White House. The former president granted the meeting out of lessons of humility and forgiveness he learned from Mandela, he said: BILL CLINTON: I remember one day, oh, about a month after the whole impeachment business was over, Henry Hyde, who had run the whole show, unbelievably enough, maybe a few months after, it was
Amid an array of “knock-out” attacks against a number of Jews in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood, a city councilwoman pointed to the success of the Jewish community as triggering the aggression. Councilwoman-elect Laurie Cumbo emphasized that while she “admire[s] the Jewish community immensely” for its work ethic, black teens may see it differently. “While I personally regard this level of tenacity, I also recognize that for others, the accomplishments of the Jewish community triggers feelings of resentment, and a sense that Jewish success is not also their success,” Cumbo, who was recently elected, wrote in a letter. Chief among the issues
