Checkmate: From global
makeover to takeover

We’re rapidly approaching a potential checkmate moment in the Mideast. There are 41 nations plus the U.S., for a total of 42 nations currently participating in military maneuvers off the coast of Iran. Despite all of the saber rattling about Iran, we are being deceived about the coming global battle, which will almost certainly begin in Syria, not Iran. What we are seeing is both deadly serious and under-appreciated by most Westerners, who have grown weary of wars and rumors of wars in the Mideast long ago. Exhaustion aside, the events continue to march

Frame’ BLM’s Neil Kornze in a poster
before BLM returns to Bundy Ranch

The high-handed, armed sniper-backed Bureau of Land Management, which retreated from Cliven Bundy’s Nevada ranch on Saturday, will be back. BLM will be back because they never go away. Their harassment campaigns against hard-working land owners and ranchers goes back more than 20 years. For 20 long years, BLM members have worked non-stop at what boils down to trying to frame Rancher Cliven Bundy. It is time to ‘frame’ Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid point man Neil Kornze. Frame him in the kind of poster that identified cattle rustlers down at the local post office in days of yore. That way, Kornze

We the People Converging on
Nevada force BLM into Retreat

In the most intense publicly-fought battle against Big Government since the election of Barack Hussein Obama, it’s We the People 1, Bureau of Land Management boss Obama, 0. With their 200 snipers, helicopters, SUVs, snarling dogs and tasers, the fast-talking, high-handed BLM has retreated from the arena. There are some who would say outright that the BLM cut and run, hightailing it off of Cliven Bundy’s ranch, and some would be right. One thing to set the dogs on protesters and taser one or two when your government bosses are backing you up. Quite another when hundreds of folk are driving from hours

Media-Suppressed Nevada Case History
Shines Truth on Government Ranch invaders

Coming clearly through the throbbing of helicopters and the roar of the SUVS of the feds harassing the Cliven Bundy Ranch, patriots there for Bundy should “tell it to the judge”. There is mainstream media-suppressed case history in Nevada the feds are desperately trying to keep under wraps. Chief Judge Robert C. Jones of the Federal District Court of Nevada smacked down high-handed, abusive feds, sending the pretend cowboys riding roughshod over Western ranchers and property owners back to their cobweb-laced offices in 2013. In spite of their 200 armed snipers with boy toys in tow, those Stetson-wearing feds hunkering down on Cliven

Beware ‘Astroturf Guy’ David Axelrod

Don’t believe Internet headlines—no matter from which source—warning that Democrats have “major hurdles” after the latest poll. “Former top Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod acknowledged Saturday that Democrats face tough challenges in November, following a new Associated Press-GfK poll that shows voters increasingly appear to want Republicans over Democrats to control Congress.” (FoxNews.com, April 6, 2014) Voters out on the hustings for November midterms don’t want donkeys; they don’t want elephants. They want small-c Conservatives who will stand their ground against the America-destroying policies of the Obama regime. The it’s-all-but-over-for-Dems message comes from ‘Astroturf Guy’ David Axelod, who took to Twitter to get

You Can’t Spell “Progressive” without an “S.S.”

Sinclair Lewis was wrong—when fascism came to America, it was actually wrapped in a rainbow flag and wearing an ascot. How else can one describe the ongoing left-wing commitment to the stamping out of free speech, whenever that speech contradicts the gay agenda, as well as other parts of the “progressive” platform? With the resignation of newly-minted Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich, the “progressive” Left, especially its social wing, has once again shown itself to be the enforcers a political correctness in speech and thought that ought to be chilling to any person who actually cares about individual liberty. It’s time to come

While the worst administration in American history has been perfecting the Big Lie that all dissent to their policy stems from conspiracy theorist wackos, they are the biggest conspiracy of all. At this stage of the Fundamental Transformation of America, the wake up call should be glaringly obvious. The administration controls the ‘news’. They control the narrative. They call the shots. They do the branding and the smearing with the name-calling they intend to make stick. While various agencies under the control of the administration paint patriots as dissidents, the EPA, their lead agency for change, has been using Americans—including children—as lab rats. “Report:

Proof positive that the big global warming/climate change scam has forced pollution off the global radar screen is coming out of China, where Henan Province has been selling canned air to its residents for more than a year. Bottled air is selling like proverbial hot cakes in smog-challenged China. “Chinese multimillionaire sells eight million 80-cents cans of fresh air in ten days as pollution levels climb to record highs.” (Daily Mail, Feb. 1, 2013) “Chen Guangbiao, who made his fortune in the recycling business and is a high-profile philanthropist, is selling soda pop-sized cans of air, purportedly from far-flung, pristine regions of China

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson says the White House wanted him to apologize for “offending” President Obama after he famously delivered a conservative message at the National Prayer Breakfast last year. Carson, the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, recalls the events surrounding his 2013 speech in his new book, One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future. The Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of the book, which is set for release May 20. “He did not appear to be hostile or angry,” Carson writes of Obama, “but within a matter of minutes after the conclusion of

Megyn Kelly’s "Kelly File" is a great news show. She’s incisive, informed and customarily handles the toughest guest with aplomb. But her lengthy interview of Facebook C.O.O. Sheryl Sandberg about her second book in the Lean In series Lean In: For Graduates was a head shaker. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. Indeed Kelly all but genuflected in front of this woman. Kept her on thru

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." After expressing how impressed he was with the tribute, he said somberly, "let me say to those ´quote survivors,´ my God, you have survived and you have soared. It was worth it. I mean this sincerely - just to hear each of you speak. You´re truly, truly inspiring." The audience sat in stunned silence until Biden declared, "I´ve never heard anything so beautiful than

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Casual marijuana use linked with

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)
