| On Wednesday, March 6, the House Science, Space and Technology Committee sent out a notice that its hearing on global warming was cancelled due to the chilly weather and a snowstorm that was about to hit the nation’s capital. The Committee was going to be treated to “a comprehensive briefing on how well scientists understand the climate and humans’ effect on it.” On the same day in 1961, the temperature had hit a record 81 degrees. In 1888, it had been 10 degrees.Anyone who thinks that humans had anything to do with either is mistaken.

After all, how can you sell a guilt trip - without the guilt?

The MIT guy, Dr. Richard Lindzen, quoted in the final two paragraphs says it all...
Climate is always changing. There is no static situation.
Who ever said that temperatures remain a constant?
Earth´s history, as we are all taught in school, is one of constant change.
Get it?
The other great stat in the piece is that, since the last Ice Age ended 11,300 years ago, our temperatures today are cooler than at least 28 percent of that 11,300 years.
Cooler.... Got it?

Last wednesday March 6, this moronic conference was cancelled due to a winter storm, though all it did was rain. All Federal employees were also told to stay home (with pay). No one noticed.

The mainstream media no longer has the luxury of ignoring Benghazi. Nor can they brush it off as another Watergate type of scandal: nobody died by drowning or other means at Watergate. The emergence of the whistle blowers has made the story too big to ignore, as much as the media would prefer it would go away. You will note that when it wasn’t until after their beloved Obama was safely ensconced in the White House for another four years did the media show any interest in the biggest story of the administration.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable.
