| Somebody tell Sandra Fluke: a Democrat state rep on Connecticut made a lewd remark to a 17 year old girl in a hearing, and also refuses to accept females as interns on his staff. Political Wire covered both incidents. Connecticut state Rep. Ernest Hewett (D) made an inappropriate remark to a 17 year old girl testifying about a program that helped her overcome her shyness and get over her fear of snakes, the New London Day reports. Said the girl: "I am usually a very shy person, and now I am more outgoing. I was able to teach those children about certain things

It´s not like Hewett is conservative or something, what´s the problem? It´s his way of paying a compliment, who are we to judge?

His picture is priceless, I can just hear him saying " Hey baby..." The audio clearly demonstrates he was making a sexual connotation. If he was a "R" he would have been forced to resign by now, but he is a "D", and for them, it´s different!

Not accepting female interns is a very good thing when it comes to dem pols.
Menendez had an illegal invader sex offender intern.

What a puke.... Fluke does´t care... She is & has been a NWO activist for population control & forced sterilization.. If you have daughters, warn hem to be wary of any new forms of so called birth control... It may be for forever. ny new sugar substitutes need to be avoided as well. Mooch & some scientists have been working on a sugar substitute for a few years now... It may be out in the marketplace now... but the scientists specialized in population control.

Wow. He really said that.
What a breathtakingly dirty thing to say to an obviously bright, polite, sweet young woman.
Anyone who has been in business and/or dealt with people in a professional venue for a couple decades knows for a fact that the creepy stuff people joke about a little, they think about a lot. My guess is this hewitt scumball (my apologies to all the honest scumballs out there) is a low-grade predator. He clearly has a female problem -- only boy interns -- and the off-the-hook snake comment is so gross and inappropriate that it´s almost too much to believe.
I´d say shame on him, but slime such as this has no shame. What a miserable sloven.

#6, that was inappropriate to say to anyone. I doubt that even president pariah would not say that to reggie love.

Personal note: I went to the link in the American Thinker article to hear the audio, on some site called Politicalwire or something like that. Most of the respondents there said that if you thought he was saying something bad, YOUR mind is in the gutter.
So my response was basically, you responders are idiots. Of COURSE it was lewd. He said "If you´re bashful, I´ve got a snake sitting under my desk here". Without a sexual connotation, the remark would make no sense. If she had said she was afraid of dentists, and the guy said "If you´re bashful, I´ve got a dentist sitting under my desk here" it would not make any sense.
Of course, everyone over there shut up, except for one reply, where the guy said I made no sense. I tried to reply to that idiot, and found I was locked out of the site.
People really are becoming trash aren´t they.

So if this guy doesn´t like girl interns, does that mean he likes boy interns, as in preying on boy interns? Posters are correct, if this had been an R he would be in the media´s bullseye and shot with hellfire missles.

The absolutely amazing thing is that this pig of a democrat said this lewd remark to a girl in a hearing of some sort--there were other persons present when he said it.

Hey, liberals! Obama thinks you are stupid. Yeah, he really does. He knew Benghazi was terrorism before he didn´t know it was terrorism. Addressing a question about Benghazi in his press conference Monday, May 13, 2013, Obama´s "logic" really made an impression: "The Day after it happened I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism." (snip) Leaving behind Obama´s initial certitude about Benghazi having been a terror attack, not only did he not know what had happened because it wasn´t clear

What person ever says what he really knows at a funeral? Eulogies bearing little or no resemblance to the deceased or to the facts are trotted out by people who are often bad actors, who though they know better, lie anyway. It´s almost acceptable behavior. But any truth about the deaths of U.S. Ambassador Christ Stevens and three other Americans appears to have been put six feet under as far as our current administration is concerned. (snip)Did they love Chris Stevens the way Brutus loved Caesar?

Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell was convicted yesterday on three counts of first-degree murder, not to mention a slew of other charges, including involuntary manslaughter (for the death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar), infanticide, and abortions past Pennsylvania´s legal limit. (snip)in a culture dominated by the 24-hour news cycle, it will be easy for Americans to consider the abortion issue closed with the Gosnell verdict. The pro-life movement´s challenge, as [Lila] Rose says, is to keep the American people focused on how common Gosnell-like practices are in the abortion industry, and on all the unsung victims abortion

Did Barack Obama in effect steal the election in 2012? It is impossible to know, of course, how matters would have played it if Americans had been told the truth about Benghazi. And what if the IRS had not hobbled conservative nonprofits (and therefore the movement) with extra scrutiny and consequent delay and expenses? But there can be no doubt that Obama helped himself by being able to claim that Al Qaeda was "on the run" and with an assist from Candy Crowley make Mitt Romney look bad on when he criticized Obama´s anti-terror policies.

The re-election of Barack Obama is the high water mark and the end of an era. The period 1960 to 2014 will go down in American history as the era of never-ending crusades leading to the decline and potential downfall of the United States. During this time frame America has been inundated with one cause after another. The essential civil rights movement and the tragically successful Viet Nam protests spawned numerous causes, among them: feminism, environmentalism, global warming, and gay rights. For each generation born after 1940 it has been a rite of passage

The Three Whistleblowers at the Benghazi hearing spoke softly, but with the emotional wallop of The Three Tenors. They told the truth, and it blasted like thunder through Obama´s tissue palace of lies. Listening to these strong, solemn men, I heard the sound of old America: a place of hardworking people who love their country and believe in something bigger than their own power. (snip) But today, their America is forced to serve a different god: a cold, smiling man with a hollow heart and hands that get bloodier by the day.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

So actually asked CNN´s Candy Crowley of her guest Sen. A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

WASHINGTON – White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said Sunday Republicans owe Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, an apology for alleging she played a part in formulating the White House’s response to the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, last year that killed four Americans. Pfeiffer said on ABC’s “This Week” that the release of more than 100 pages of Benghazi emails and notes show “beyond a shadow of the doubt” that accusations she tried to change the narrative of what happened in the attacks was false. "And, frankly, I think that many of the Republicans
