| Pollster John Zogby reports in our weekly White House report card that President Obama is coming off one of his worst weeks. "I am not an ideologue. I call it as I see it. The week President Obama just finished sucked. The Obama administration created the fiscal cliff, has used it as a bludgeon, has ´Chicken Littled´ about its impact, and now says it is only a bump, not a cliff. Their message now is, ´never mind.´ Add to that the White House is threatening a venerable journalist like Bob Woodward? This is, no matter how you cut it,

Zippy´s team will start manufacturing crises to make sure that there is pain. E Repubs will gleefully go along. Neither side wants the Americanublic to know that if we cut spending, it could be done to only cause them pain, not us. The house of cards they´ve built about their own importance is imploding a little bit more each day as the nation isn´t crashing around us (simply slowly crumbling). The armor is starting to show chinks where their complicity in problem is evident.

They aren´t really cuts, just a 2.4% reduction of the 7% automatic budget annual increase. It means we´ll only increase spending 4.5% in 2013 rather than the base line increase of 7%. Also because Obummer has control of the cuts, he can make them seem cataclysmic by applying them to firemen, policemen, teachers and programs directly affecting those truly in need. He can do that rather than cut some of the duplicity found in our bureaucracy or some of the pork that is crammed into our annual budgets, cuts relatively painless and potentially permanent.

Really enjoyed your faux soul searching there, John. Don´t worry, you only have a few more months and the 2014 midterms will be in full swing. Then you´ll be able to get back to your real passion - helping to defeat the GOP by telling America that we really like Obama because he´s a nice guy. I have almost as much use for Zogby as I do for Rove , Morris or Luntz.

While an abusive partner may look bad to an objective observer, no objective observer exists in our MSM. Therefore this display of willful dishonesty and abuse of power only builds Barky´s acceptable level of tyranny.
"Look what you have made me have to do to you now."
Tyrants torture their citizens because it works.
Ask a hard question and get a few thousand convicts released in your city.
Ask a hard question and I will fire all the meat inspectors.
Extortion is extortion.
Is it racist to point that out ?

Notice how Zogby covers his a** with congress i.e, (Republicans) "isn´t liked either." So both sides are equally to blame. Obama is driving us off the cliff as fast as he can and those rascally republicans are trying to take his foot off the accelerator and both parties are equally to blame. Go figure.

But the sky really is falling this time! Too bad he learned Marxist fairy tales (The Grim ones) instead of the ones from Grimm. And the wolf really is at the door, and no one is listening. Our grandchildren have been provided with a debt they can never pay off. What a wonderful sweetheart this zippy is!

Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia can finally agree on something. "He called me a whiner. He´s probably right," Garcia told Golf.com on Monday at the start of the week of the BMW PGA Championship in England. "But that´s also probably the first thing he´s told you guys that´s true in 15 years. I know what he´s like. You guys are finding out." On the same day that Tiger Woods uttered one word -- "No" -- to quickly dismiss the possibility of making amends over the pair´s verbal sparring during the Players Championship, the Spaniard kept swinging at

A federal court in San Francisco Tuesday struck down Arizona´s ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the law violates a string of U.S. Supreme Court rulings starting with Roe v. Wade that guarantees a woman´s right to an abortion before a fetus is able to survive outside the womb. That´s generally considered to be about 24 weeks. Normal pregnancies run about 40 weeks. Several states have enacted similar bans starting at 20 weeks. But the 9th Circuit´s ruling is binding only in the nine Western states

CBS News has a piece quietly mocking a Benghazi whistleblower for writing poetry in a classic example of how the MSM marginalizes opponents of Barack Obama: Raymond Maxwell, who was one of Hillary Clinton’s State Department officials who was disciplined for security lapses vis-à-vis Benghazi, has been writing poetry since he was put on leave. Significantly, some of the poetry deals with Maxwell’s frustration at being made a scapegoat: The web of lies they weave / gets tighter and tighter / in its deceit / until it bottoms out - / at a very low frequency - / and implodes...

President Obama and his allies in the House and Senate may have failed in their attempt to channel shock and anger over Newtown into passing strict new gun control legislation, but it wasn´t for lack of trying. The quick pivot from tragedy to legislation is just another indication that one party has a knack for legislating while the other spends most of its time saying no, or offering watered down versions of its opponents´ legislation. That seeming inability to quickly connect moments of national outrage with meaningful legislation on the part of Republicans will be on display

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew was told about a government watchdog´s investigation of the Internal Revenue Service in mid-March but did not learn the full extent of its findings until they were released earlier this month. Lew told the Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday that he first learned about the possible problems during a "getting to know you" meeting with the Treasury´s inspector general for tax administration, J. Russell George, on March 15. At that meeting, George ran down a number of items for Lew, including the potential for "troubling findings" in regards to the agency´s handling of tax-exempt applications

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: You are the mantle of Frederick Douglass and Booker T. The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care
