Obama’s Abusive Staff
Commentary, by Peter Wehner

Original Article

Posted By:pineledger, 3/1/2013 3:58:18 PM

There’s been a lot of attention to the battle between the White House and Bob Woodward, but this article by National Journal’s Ron Fournier, on the toxic relationship he has with some high-ranking White House sources, is also worth reading. Last week Fournier sent out a tweet that angered the White House.(Snip)The official angered by my Woodward tweet sent me an indignant e-mail. “What’s next, a Nazi analogy?” the official wrote, chastising me for spreading “bull**** like that” I was not offended by the note, mild in comparison to past exchanges with this official.

Comments:
"You will regret staking out that claim" seems to be the WH´s standard put-down to reporters that show a spine.

They abuse people at the behest of Obama, so he can pretend he has done nothing wrong. You can get away with doing a lot of dirty things when you have psychophants who are willing to take the blame.

Try to imagine what goes on in all the off-the-record back-channel conversations that occur every day with the fair-haired boys in the knee-pad media. Just try!
Wouldn´t that be a real eye-opener!

And yet you should see how the "cast" of "Morning Joe" has characterized all of the above: just normal give and take, says the lovely Mica, squinting, once again, to mimic thought. And Heilman and the other Obama sycophants nod sagely-----they forego the Mica squint as they OSTENSIBLY have less to prove re: I.Q.

Back at the dawn of time when I took an undergraduate elective titled "Journalism," there was talk of such a thing as "journalistic ethics" revolving around such concepts as honesty, responsibility, fairness, and personal integrity.

Obviously an antediluvian concept. With such moral dwarfs penning our daily news and holding forth on the tube, is it any wonder that the Dwarf King himself can lord it over them?

Now comfortably ensconced in his second term, a time about which he said he will be more “flexible,” Obama is able to hide from responsibilities and tough decisions even more than before. Perhaps the most telling earmark (if you’ll excuse the expression) of the childlike way he confronts things is his now famous history of voting “Present” rather than facing problems head-on. Were it not for his staff of sycophants and the lapdog media members who allegedly cover him, it’s unlikely he’d be able to get away with such pre-adolescent behavior. Skirting & shirking seems to be his modus operandi for dealing with the things and stuff that reach his desk. But, why stop there? He’s also proven to be a master at evading, averting, avoiding, eluding, escaping, sidestepping, forestalling and circumventing issues which deserve his attention but he finds much too onerous to deal with. Better to hop aboard AF1, candidate-style, and head somewhere an adoring crowd awaits a speech from him.

Four years of on-the-job-training just don’t seem to have accomplished much, have they?

Here´s one:
George Soros who is one of obama´s puppeteers was and is a Nazi sympathizer. He by his own admission on 60 minutes stated he turned in over 150 people to the Nazi´s just so he could sell their belongings. They of course were murdered.

Ah, come on, you guys - Barry only does what President Jarrett tells him to do. Those scars on his scalp are from the implant into his brain whereby President Jarrett communicates with him wirelessly.

I expect she has set the tone for all WH staffers to be bulldogs with anyone who dares to question Zippy. I´ll bet she sends out a morning briefing every day, and they get badges (like the boy scouts get) for every toxic remark they make to journalists who get "out of line".

These WH staffers sound like they were hired off the "Comments" pages of Salon. They share the same traits of being angry, abusive, profane, ideologically rigid, immature, vindictive, and controlling, among others.

This is the typical lefty attitude, if you aren´t with them, you are agin´ ´em, and deserve everything that comes at you.

Also, as we all know, the tone is set at the top.

´“This can’t be what Obama wants,” Fournier writes.´
I recall that people in the old USSR who were in Siberia in the Gulags or in prisons expressed this same sentiment about Uncle Joe. That the outrages were being done by underlings and that all would be corrected if only their plight could be brought to Stalin´s attention.

Is anyone here really surprised by all this? Come on, these are people trained and indoctrinated by the likes of Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel and their cohort of gangsta wannabes, who indeed are the sort of people Obama thinks make good staff.

My only question is, why do conservative columnists like Fournier (and politicians) keep chanting the ritual mantra: "Obama is a nice guy" when anyone who isn´t a brainwashed lefty or paralytically drunk can see he is a nasty, vindictive, egomaniacal piece of work who surrounds himself with mini-mes?

On some other blogs the lefties are spinning the Woodward incident as mischaracterized and nothing threatening about it, even claiming Eric Boling/Fox redacted any interpretation of threats. Oh sure.

The Woodward incident shows a glimpse into why so many illicit deeds of the administration go unreported. Many of the "salon journalists" must be brainwashed and think there is a promised land somewhere down the pike while the rest are too cowed to actually be a journalist.

Remember the "how dare you daggers" in Nancy botoxlousy´s eyes when Joe Wilson correctly shouted, "you lie!"? The assessment above is correct: disagree and you automatically become an enemy.

This is sounding like children running to mommy about the bully, which is fine for children to do, but not so much for adults. Okay, we all understand BHO and crew are not playing by the rules, they are cheating, and otherwise not acting as they are suppose to. So come out swinging, biting, clawing, and kicking. He cheated in the election to win. So what? Who didn´t know that that was exactly what he was going to do. What steps did we take to counter it? Did we expect mommy to spank him and give us the election? He lies. Same thing. We are electing cowards and then complain that they don´t fight back. Because of our failure from the start (McCain) to deal with this guy we are stuck with him. If we want it to change then we need to fight back. We are going to get blamed anyhow; as with the sequester, but we got the cuts. If we are right then who cares about the blame - we are going to get it anyhow. Boehner has the purse strings. Use them. BHO can´t get away with what he is doing without cooperation. Don´t cooperate. Have him submit a list for appropriations. Abusive staff? Only if you let him. The other edge of the access sword is outlet. The Pubs need to figure out how to deal with this now, not wait for the election; and crying about it is not the answer.

We need to flood the Internet/media/friends/family with this information.
Obama is at war with us: time to fight back instead of just complaining about it.
Contact your congressperson on a weekly basis. Sign petitions, attend rallies.
Again: Obama/progressives/democrats/liberals are at war with us! They are ahead of us & fighting dirty.
Time to expose them via Internet/social media.
Overwhelm them as we did in 2010. It CAN be done.
Let the rallying cry be: "I am a Founder!"

When Obama was elected those who have studied recent history knew that he and his staff would use "Chicago style" tactics to get his way. This should be no surprise. The surprise is that the media is finally getting tired of being brutalized by these creeps. Maybe if more than Bob Woodward and Lanny Davis would open up the rest would start reporting instead of mouthing the White House talking points.

The mantra that Obama is a nice guy is so easily fixed.

Obama PRETENDS to be a nice guy one minute, and in the next minute he´s savaging Republicans as being the meanest, stingiest people on earth just because they disagree with HIM.

That isn´t nice...

A more apt word for it would be Schizophrenic.

A perfectly descriptive word for a politician who does this is Demagogue.

Bob Woodward never claimed "you will regret staking out that claim" was a threat, but anyone who has seen The Sopranos or the Godfather knows that threats are not issued in an "I´m gonna get you!" way. They are issued in the most polite way possible. And they are issued with a smile and kindly concern: "Nice kid you´ve got there. It´d be a shame if something happened to him/her."

Obama is a malignant narcissist. He is mentally ill. Bob Woodward and others can´t seem to see that this man suffers from delusions of grandeur, is horribly thin-skinned, and can´t suffer any amount of criticism without responding with torrents of venom and abuse. Obama is a three year-old throwing a tantrum. He is a hateful, spiteful, vindictive, pathologically dishonest little man. The abuse from his staff simply reflects the mindset necessary to serve such a man.

Pray for America. We have a mental patient in the Oval Office.

The reason the white house gets away with this behavior is that the "high-ranking White House sources" have still not been identified by these reporters.
The responsibility of the press is to examine and expose the politicians to the people. The reporters are deluded into thinking that their talent lies in becoming friends with the administration. The friendship ends when you start demonstrating freedom of the press, and stop pushing their agenda...MORON!

FTA: Mr. Fournier’s experience is, I think, a good barometer of the cast of mind of the Obamacons. They are a rather thuggish, thin-skinned group who tend to view criticisms as a declaration of war. Many of them seem to view their opponents as enemies...

This perfectly describes those miscreants in the 0bama regime and their behavior is illustrative of their Supreme Leader. I would only quibble with the fact that all of them view their opponents as enemies. This is not surprising considering their reprehensible, appalling behavior during the election. It is indeed the Chicago way. What´s extremely disappointing is that this is now coming out and this skirmish didn´t happen before the election. It might have helped, or maybe not.

1. "Abusive staff"? Start with Obama! But half the time, he lags ol´ Mooch by several furlongs when it comes to "abusive." Mo tells us how much we had better exercise and what we had better be eating. Then we have Obama treating AF1 [not to mention the entourage of planes and limos, etc., that few know or remember are encompassed by the term "Air Force One"] like a taxicab. And Mooch; Pelosi [when Speakeress -- don´t forget her onboard booze-bills!]; Panetta; and who knows how many others treating big, honkin´ executive-jet-outfitted Boeings like taxicabs!

2. As the specific issues have been pretty well addressed, I would also note that Fournier should never excuse the unnamed WH jerk [bully? toady? self-imagined "muscle"?] for his behavior and language. It´s not just coarse or out of place, it´s inexcusable -- unless the person who "knows better" accepts it in not objecting? Why? Hey, if [bleep] stinks, it still stinks as much and as badly even if you claim the smell doesn´t bother you.

I too like "psychophants"!!

#40, I like the idea of using Facebook and Twitter to get the message out, but I don´t use the L.com links because there are a few people here that still say racist and bigoted things (even if they may not really mean it to be). I refuse to let the left perpetuate the myth that our side is full of bigots just because a couple of people can´t be more thoughtful about what they say. So, I will continue to link articles directly to FB. It´s a shame because this was always a wonderful forum and more people should see it.

Alinsky, Jaret, his comrades. Have any of you given a thought, yeah, maybe a few
where this all comes from? Go back to NY theater late 20´s, early 30´s, read a few pages, where all this Marxist, Leninist junk got a foothold. Agitprop theatre, agitation agitate it´s all about what comrade obamsky and his cell do, practice the Party Line, you´ve heard that phrase before, create class differences, agitate do anything to create dissension and distrust. That´s the Communist way, the Party Line. Google Cleon Skousen´s list of 40 Communist things to look out..from his 1950´s book, "THE NAKED COMMUNIST". It´s a plain talking gem, he predicted correctly what´s happening now. Others did, too. Zygmond Dobbs wrote KEYNES AT HARVARD, showing how all this started back in the early 1900´s. Both written sixty years ago when Ayn Rand was warning us of Stalinist Soviet communism that she escaped. It´s all on record for those who care to look, and today Democrats are all robot socialists, and socialists are all on the direct path to the ultimate tyranny, Stalinist Soviet communist enslavement.

No 37 has it---BUT---the 900 pound gorilla in the room is the media. Until we control the dialog in the country everything we do is an uphill battle. Job one should be for a couple of rich conservatives (notice I didn´t say Republicans) buy, steal, hostile take over, whatever, at least two of ABCCBSNBCCNN and make honest news outlets out of them. For 50 years that I know of, ABCCBSNBC, the "mushroom" media (keep the public in the dark and cover them with manure) have tauted the liberal line and they have dumbed down the populace so far through their news censorship that we ended up with the likes of Zippy. It´s either buy ´em or use a Molotov cocktail on them.

The Hague-—President Barack Obama, seeking to shift the trajectory of the crisis in Ukraine, will press U.S. allies Monday to suspend Russia from the Group of Eight leading nations and to adopt more sweeping sanctions against the Russian economy, administration officials said. Mr. Obama will argue for those steps in an emergency meeting Monday evening with leaders of the world´s top seven economies, held on the sidelines of a nuclear security summit in The Hague, officials said. "We believe that there is no reason for the G-7 countries to engage with Russia going forward based on its behavior," Ben Rhodes,

Advertising executives didn’t need a scientific study to surmise what would draw young adults to ads that encourage people to buy health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.They went with skin – lots of it. “He may not be naked. He could be wearing a Speedo,” Wendy Wolf said with a laugh, referring to an ad showing a young man who is otherwise unclothed but covered by a strategically placed laptop computer. “Dude, it’s time to get covered,” proclaims the ad for www.enroll207.com that ran this week in the Portland Phoenix alternative newspaper. One-Fifth of New Enrollees

Fail to Pay First Premium

Washington--One in five people who signed up for health insurance under the new health care law failed to pay their premiums on time and therefore did not receive coverage in January, insurance companies and industry experts say. Paying the first month’s premium is the final step in completing an enrollment. Under federal rules, people must pay the initial premium to have coverage take effect. In view of the chaotic debut of the federal marketplace and many state exchanges, the White House urged insurers to give people more time, and many agreed to do so. But, insurers said, some people missed

‘Aid in Dying’ Movement

DENVER — Helping the terminally ill end their lives, condemned for decades as immoral, is gaining traction. Banned everywhere but Oregon until 2008, it is now legal in five states. Its advocates, who have learned to shun the term “assisted suicide,” believe that as baby boomers watch frail parents suffer, support for what they call the “aid in dying” movement will grow further. In January, the New Mexico Supreme Court authorized doctors to provide lethal prescriptions and declared a constitutional right for “a competent, terminally ill patient to choose aid in dying.” Last May, the Vermont Legislature passed a law

Health Care Law Projected to Cut the Labor Force

Washinton--A Congressional Budget Office analysis released Tuesday predicted that the Affordable Care Act would shrink the work force by the equivalent of more than two million full-time positions and recharged the political debate over the health care law, providing Republican opponents fresh lines of attack and putting Democrats on the defensive. The nonpartisan budget office’s analysis, part of a regular update to its budget projections, was far more complicated than the Republican attack lines it generated. Congressional Republican leaders called the findings “devastating,” “terrible” and proof that the health care law was a job killer. (Snip)Senator Joe Manchin III, Democrat

Secretary of State John Kerry must be really desperate to win the Nobel Peace Prize. So much so, he seems willing to continually force the state of Israel into untenable positions that put its security at risk. On this very topic last month, Israeli Minister of Defense Moshe Yaalon said Kerry "came here very determined and operates based upon an unfathomable obsession and Messianic feeling . . . "Throughout the recent months, there is no negotiation between us and the Palestinians, but rather between us and the Americans. The only thing that can ´save´ us is that John Kerry will

War On Banks: Attorney General Eric Holder has opened up a new front against car lenders and has forged an alliance with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to frame them for racism, too. We don´t use the term "frame" capriciously, certainly not like Holder uses the charge of racism. His department and the president´s new consumer credit watchdog agency, CFPB, have announced a new settlement with Ally Bank for nearly $100 million. It´s the largest fair lending deal against the auto industry and the third-largest ever to resolve charges of lending discrimination. Throw in four new mortgage-lender settlements over equally

The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

Former Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) said a number of junior GOP senators considering a presidential run in 2016 do not yet have the experience — specifically naming Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas). The former 1996 GOP presidential candidate sounded particularly skeptical of Cruz in an interview this week with The Wichita Eagle. "A number of the younger members, first-termers like Rand Paul, Rubio and that extreme-right-wing guy, Ted Cruz — all running for president now. I don´t think they´ve got enough experience yet," Dole said. The 90-year-old former senator said, however, his main concern about 2016 is living

If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. Certainly he will have the resources to outlast, discredit, and disqualify his rivals.

The Citizens Commission on Benghazi, a self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented – if the U.S. hadn´t been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier. ´The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,´ Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline. Washington - Michelle Obama said "splurging is the key to life" if you regularly eat right and stay active. Her biggest guilty pleasure: French fries. "How would you appreciate vegetables if you never had chocolate?" she asked. "You couldn´t live without a little chocolate, a little French fries." The first lady took questions from children reporters Monday after appearing at the White House Easter Egg Roll. She told the children that if they eat right the majority of the time, then a splurge or snack is not going to hurt them. "I still splurge when I can, but that's why I try to exercise almost every day," she said.

There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning

New audio reveals an Eastern Connecticut State University professor warning that Republicans will “want things to go back — not to to 1955, but to 1855? if they win control of Congress in November. Republican victories could also put him out of a job, he cautioned. “We will live in a very, very, very different kind of country if that happens,” Professor Brent Terry told students in his Introduction to Creative Writing course, according to audio obtained by Campus Reform. “I mean, colleges will start closing up if these people have their way.” Over the course of his rant, Terry characterized conservatives
