Ted Cruz for PRESIDENT! wouldn´t that make the Democrat´s heads spin! Can you imagin what they would do to keep Cruz from being our Candidate? Those Hispanic votes would suddenly be in favor of a REPUBLICAN. After all the work that the Democrats did to get those voters in line they would be beside themselves.

If I´ve read CPAC´s convention schedule correctly, Sen Cruz will give the convention wrap-up speech at 5PM on Saturday March 16th. Looks like he may have a 45 minute slot. Not too shabby for a ´Junior Senator´!
Me thinks that the LSM’s wishful thinking of the senator’s imminent demise is a little premature because this guy is intelligent and has courage. Really bad Juju for the ‘Forward’ crowd!
Dr Carson is the featured speaker at 10AM, with 45 minutes, and Gov Palin is at 12 Noon with 20 minutes.

On May 14, the House Ways and Means Committee demanded the IRS turn over documents and answer questions related to the targeting of conservative groups. The letter was signed by the Chairman David Camp and ranking member Sander Levin of the Committee. The deadline for compliance was May 21. WASHINGTON — The Army announced Tuesday that it has suspended the top general at Fort Jackson in South Carolina over allegations of assault and adultery, the latest in a string of sex scandals to rock the military. It was not clear whom Brig. Gen. Bryan Roberts struck or with whom he was involved. Fort Jackson conducts basic training for 60% of the Army´s incoming women recruits. Wendy Greuel called Eric Garcetti early Wednesday morning to concede the mayoral election, a Greuel campaign source told the Times, ending a two-year campaign to determine Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa´s successor and the new political leader of Los Angeles. Federal investigators apparently accessed records of calls to and from a phone number at Fox News Channel in their leak investigation of a former State Department contractor, according to a court document. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups.
