I saw this on the "Fashion Police" show Monday night. The others did cringe. It was a stupid joke, but she does this kind of thing all the time and Joan is all about trying to be funny. Most of the time, she´s somewhat funny, but I hate her politics.

She should probably apologize, but people should learn to let stuff pass instead of being perpetually outraged.

It is not funny, but I really think people need to stop getting all offended over everything. When I was younger I couldn´t stand Rivers -- probably because I had no tolerance for obnoxiousness back then. But in today´s world, Rivers is really tame. So, she is actually easier to listen to than most of the other so called comedians.

Anyway, #4, you hate her politics? What are her politics? As far as I know, she is a Republican. Maybe you don´t like her brand of Republicanism?

Rivers, Don Rickels--on and on. There are a lot of comics who use this kind of material mostly to create a shocked reaction from the audience. Love it or hate it, no point in getting worked up about it. They´re going to continue in the same vein. It´s all they know.

It would have been funny if the subject weren´t so tragic. In short, poor taste, but 90% of what libs do is in poor taste and it´s rare that there is a squealing heard over it.

Joan often makes vulgar and offensive jokes, the other hosts always cringe. But that is Joan Rivers, this is nothing new.

In the early 90s I visited Yad Vashem in Israel. When I came out of the Children´s Memorial I saw one of the men in our group completely break down in tears. His parents had escaped the camps (they were children at the time and eventually met here in the U.S). NO ONE else in the family survived. I will never, ever forget that man and the pain and sorrow I saw that day.

The dress looks like a fancy curtain cut up. It is hardly "hot". Also, there are a lot of hotter looking tail ends in Hollywood. You can even see better in Wal-Mart. I don´t like to judge anyone solely on their appearance, but when that´s how she is marketed I figure its fair game.

My favorite Joan Rivers joke was the one about the actress who was so dumb she studied for her Pap test.

Very funny joke!

Joan and her daughter Melissa have their own reality show. She rolls those jokes off her tongue on a daily basis. She has a huge gay following also. I think she does it for attention but I´m really surprised that QVC still allows her to hawk her wares on their shopping network. She makes a mint.

Joan is OK in my book also!! Love her quick wit. Don´t hear her F...... and Mother....... every other word during her acts to get attention and laughs. She´s tough, smart and a real survivor. I saw part of her "comedy" show on the BBC a few years back. She is very vulgar, swears a lot. Not really funny.

The Daily Mail´s stories are often excuses to show large photos of attention-seeking women with not much clothes on. Heidi Klum is one such woman. Tacky and try-hard, just like Joan´s joke.
