| CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: A lot of people disagree on what to do about the 11 million illegal aliens in the country, but I don´t think anybody wants to empty the prisons of people who jumped the border and are being held. We don´t really know how they´re going to act. I think it´s laughable to assume they are going to show up under this alternate status, you know, and act like good citizens. Here are people who on multiple occasions have cross the border. Which means every time they are deported across

Comments: Really? And just when will they realize this? I seriously doubt it Dr. K. More of them should have figured how 0bama and his regime have continuously "acted in bad faith" long before the last election.

Once more with feeling....it is not in the best interests of the liberal/left to have a robust and economically independent middle class.......people who are financially stable, might vote republican. Put as many people as possible on government sibsidy and the Dem´s will be in power for ever.

And also yet again with feeling - this administration breaks laws at will, and peddles non-stop lies to both the public and the people who represent them. I´ve seen no more reprehensible administration *anywhere*.
IMPEACHMENT NOW!

Anyone notice that as time passes, Krauthhammer is sounding ever more detached. Pretty soon he´ll achieve DC Weenie status.

Many of the "public" already realize it.
I participate in several forums and all across the US ... people are angry with the WH in particular and the govt in general. And - many of them were Obama voters.

They realize it time and time again. Then the media yells "squirrel" and they forget. The few of us who understand this is an ongoing and dangerous problem are not enough to reverse the trend.
Krauthammer is engaging in wishful thinking here.

Since historically about 90% of released illegal aliens never show up for their court hearings, there is little doubt that it is going to cost a lot more money and time for the immigration authorities to go out and locate, arrest, and bring them to their court hearings in the future then it would to keep them safely tucked away in jail.
Obviously the Obama crew has no intention of doing that and intend to grant them all some sort of amnesty instead.
This funding situation is just an excuse to release a whole bunch of illegal aliens from federal custody to politically appease the mostly very liberal Hispanic ethnic and immigrant advocacy groups.

And while we´re hoping this, is anyone prosecuting the voting machine programmers for fixing the Ohio election and maybe other states?
It doesn´t matter whether anyone realizes anything as long a 0bama can laugh and play hoops during the election secure in the knowledge that he has it in the bag.

Up to thirty thousand of these criminals could illegally be released out of spite by the Obama administration. Time to buy a gun for the defense of your home and family. VP Biden recommends a shotgun.

At about the time home defense type ammo all disappears off the shelves into government agency buy-ups, thousands of criminals are released from federal prisons under orders from unnamed persons. It gets curiouser and curiouser.

#1 -- The current regime is just expanding the carnage wreaked by Lyndon Johnson in the left´s perpetual war against American small businesses and especially (black) American families: ´´If we push this thing [the 1964 Civil Rights Act] through, the n*****s will be voting for us for 200 years.´´

The criminal aliens released from prison are Barry´s idea of model aliens for citizenship. I wonder how many of them were sleeper cell jihadist muzzies.

During friendly questioning from Rep. Hank “I fear that Guam will capsize!” Johnson in Congress last week, Attorney General Eric Holder offered the following statement. In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. He made that statement before the facts about the sweep on Fox News’ James Rosen were known. Since then, it’s come to light that Holder himself approved the subpoena that, among other things, named Rosen as a criminal co-conspirator.

As the saying goes, scratch a liberal and you’ll find a tyrant underneath. NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo is but the latest example. He shoved a very restrictive and ill-considered gun law through the state legislature in the dead of night. Among its flaws, the law criminalized police officers who tote firearms with magazines that hold more than seven rounds. Sheriffs around the state have objected to the law. Cuomo summoned them to the state capitol under what appears to be a false pretext, and used the meeting to threaten them into silence. Cuomo invited

The National Council of La Raza (translation: The Race) has partnered with the Office of Personnel Management to encourage Hispanic activists and members to burrow into the federal government. A workshop sponsored by La Raza/The Race will take place in New Orleans on July 23, 2013. Senior Executive Service (SES) employees are federal government employees in special executive management positions, often with salaries approaching $200,000 per year (and well past that with benefits). OPM, a federal government agency, is cooperating and partnering

What a fantastic talent liberals possess, the ability to talk out of both sides of their mouths. One side utters platitudes about campaign finance reform and the nefarious influence of money in politics, while the other whispers in the ears of oligarchs and plutocrats. One side slanders Republicans as the tools of corporate interests, while the other solicits donations from some of the largest corporations in the world. The next journalist to examine influence peddling on K Street need only walk two blocks south, to H Street.

President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden met with three illegal immigrants who have been granted deferred action legal status in the Oval Office Tuesday. Meanwhile, Obama still refuses to meet with any border security enforcement officers about any aspect of immigration reform. “From Justino Mora, Angie Kim and Mehdi Mahraoui, to Diana Colin and Kevin Lee,” a White House blog entry reads, “all of the stories they shared were full of hope and optimism that one day their family members and their broader communities could realize the dream of becoming citizens of a country that

WASHINGTON - A long-simmering feud between establishment Republicans and tea partyers broke into full view Thursday, with Sen. John McCain accusing younger colleagues of overplaying their hands and tempting Democrats to change Senate rules that protect the minority party. Tactics for dealing with the government´s budget and debt became the latest quarrel In a string of them between McCain -sometimes joined by other traditionalist Republicans -and tea party champions such as Ted Cruz of Texas, Rand Paul of Kentucky, Mike Lee of Utah and Marco Rubio of Florida. Those four won Senate seats by defying the party establishment,

The conservative writer Quin Hillyer says he’s “laying down” his pen and running for Congress in Alabama. Hillyer, who most recently worked for The American Spectator, The Washington Times and The Washington Examiner, became the first to throw his hat in the contest after the unexpected resignation of Republican Rep. Jo Bonner on Thursday. "When an opportunity comes to do something good, one must grab it,” Hillyer wrote on the American Spectator blog. Hillyer, once an aide to former Louisiana Rep. Bob Livingston, is well-known in the political community of Mobile, Alabama, where he now lives.

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. She was determined to

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest? (snip) they weren´t just spying on us in San Jose and monitoring us in San Francisco, they were watching us throughout the entire state

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”
