| John McCain and Lindsey Graham were almost giddy when they emerged from a White House meeting on immigration reform on Tuesday. The Senate duo insist President Obama understands Republican concerns about border security as critical to getting immigration legislation through Congress. “It’s one of the best meetings I’ve ever had with the president,” gushed Mr. Graham, South Carolina Republican, one of the four Republican senators in the bipartisan Gang of Eight looking to craft an immigration-reform bill. “I think the president’s very sincere in wanting a bill, and wanted to know what he could do to help.”

Are these two really that stupid? Obama lies about everything so he is not lying this time? It is a tenant of the muslin faith that it is ok to lie to your opposition.

Obama has positioned himself as the all-powerful Oz, and now even Repubs are buying it. He controls access, seldom grants an audience...um, I mean holds meetings. And when he does, he dazzles those who come, mainly I think because they believe what he says. Obama´s track record on holding to what he says, and meaning it, should prove that a fool´s errand, but he are these two, giddy as school girls walking away from meeting Justin Beiber.
"I think he likes me!" they gush.
No one sees thru the hype, the lies, the side-step of a matador goading the truth into one more try...

How can these two IDIOTS still believe anything obama says ???
Have they forgotten already that even now obama and his lying thugs are still insisting the sequestration was not his idea? and openly threatening anyone who dares to simply state the facts ?
The fact is obama is a TRAITOR, a LIAR and a FRAUD and the worst thing that has ever happened to our once Great Nation. I mean, with every day he remains in office while refusing to prove his eligibility, he continuously reinforces the notion that he is a USURPER. As I have said in the past, obama is a low life skunk and we know what to expect from him.... what has completely disheartened me, however, is seeing that there isn´t a SINGLE man or woman in Congress with enough HONOR, Integrity, COURAGE and sense of Duty to their Oath of office to even just STAND UP and ask obama why he put out a PHONEY birth certificate and when does he intend to publish his REAL one ?

The two pushed Marco Rubio to carry their water bucket to portray "his" immigration reform as his own instead of what Graham and McCain have failed for many years to pass. They thought with his ´newness´ to the Senate and his current popularity it would become easier to push. Ayotte is another one being used by these two big RINOs to push their ideas. Time for them to fade away.

I have to agree with history; Once a traitor, always a traitor. Both of these yellow republicans have never returned their credibility- not since the infamous McCain "Gang of 14" crushed all hope of getting our country back. And now, they come from a meeting with "Satan" himself and declare him to be a nice enough guy. What a load of excessively salty hog wash!

The sister of a high-ranking Chinese diplomat was busted for alleged shoplifting from the Herald Square Macy’s — and her well-connected family caused a huge scene trying to get her out of police custody, The Post has learned. Guo Wang, 37 — whose brother Bangfu Wang is a section chief in the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs — walked into the Macy’s flagship store Thursday before noon, picked up several shirts and two dresses and took them to the fitting room, sources said. After a few minutes of fidgeting inside, she walked out

In Far Rockaway, Queens, the beloved Rockaway Taco is open again, peddling $3 fish tacos and fresh watermelon juice. Some 75 miles south, in Belmar, New Jersey, a new 1.3 mile boardwalk sports a fresh coat of “spiced rum” colored paint, courtesy of Captain Morgan. And in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, the rickety Jet Star rollercoaster, dramatically submerged in the ocean after Superstorm Sandy, has been demolished to make room for swimming and surfing. It’s the official kickoff of summer, and up and down the East Coast, tourism-dependent towns devastated by Sandy are declaring themselves back in business.

The comparisons were inevitable: two guys who became a national punchline after being caught in sex scandals make a bid for a political comeback from disgrace. But once you get past the astonishment and the snickers, the differences are more significant than the similarities between Mark Sanford, the Republican former South Carolina governor elected in a landslide to his old House seat earlier this month, and Anthony Weiner, the Democratic ex-congressman who formally launched his bid for mayor of New York on Wednesday. It is true that both pose tests of the electorate’s capacity for forgiveness. But Sanford

The deadly twister that raked through Oklahoma did an estimated $2 billion in damage, which puts it on track to be the most expensive tornado in U.S. history. That’s the preliminary damage estimate the Oklahoma Insurance Department released Wednesday, two days after a monster twister flattened the city of Moore and killed 24 people, including nine children. The figure was double an earlier estimate. Insurance Department spokeswoman Calley Herth said the monetary damage caused by Monday’s tornado could be greater than the $2 billion in damage from the 2011 tornado that struck Joplin, Mo.

The union representing U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officials will officially oppose the proposed Senate immigration reform legislation on Monday, according to an advance statement obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The National Citizenship and Immigration Services Council (USCIS Council) says the legislation fails to address its top concerns about the current system, including the pressure on USCIS officers to approve visa applications without thorough review and the bureaucratic barricades that prevent them from coordinating with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officials. Sources say it is highly unusual for the USCIS Council to weigh in publicly on legislation.

WASHINGTON — I WENT to New York last week to cover the TV presentations for the new season, shows like “Scandal,” “Shark Tank” and a faltering “American Idol.” I may as well have stayed here. You know that the faltering American idol in the White House must be reeling in this scandalous spring. No Drama Obama is immersed in drama so over the top it could have been scripted by Shonda Rhimes and Karl Rove. Just four months after his second inauguration, the president is buffeted by gushing investigations, smug and deranged Republicans, and cat-who-ate-the-canary conspiracists.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. Marimow broke earlier this week. The memo’s a masterpiece, too. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience
