Obama activists now soliciting
"sequester stories" from
worried citizens

They pine to hear tales of horror from the citizenry, perhaps. Organizing for Action, the aggressive grassroots non-profit that grew out of President Obama’s 2012 campaign, is now seeking “sequester stories” from loyal Democrats and progressives. The canny idea intensifies the Democratic Party’s blame game and fear mongering over the looming budget cuts. “Right now, each of us has a responsibility to step up and make sure Congress hears our voices. Whether you’d be directly affected by these sequester cuts, or whether they’d affect a senior, veteran, or teacher you know, please share what

Comments:
0bama and his regime with his Marxist activists are the worse thing to happen to this country during my lifetime. They are despicable. We are doomed because there will never be the necessary cuts made for this country to survive.

Whoa! Sequester hasn´t even started and Dear Leader(US)´s minions are already seeking stories from the affected masses?

Okay, here´s mine. Big Government keeps taking money from me and my family so I can´t buy a new car or take a vacation or send my son to college or make a decision on my own.

I´m sure that´ll be at the top of their reports.

(Sarcasm key now off.)

How about stories from workers about how that 2% pay cut affected their lives.

They are managing in the face of rising energy costs and yet these bloodsucking bureaucrats can´t deal!!!!

I got that e-mail, along with the ones asking for my story regarding being an illegal , and being a victim of gun violence. This is an evil administration with ( I am sorry to say) a first rate P.R machine.

Dear Glorious Leader,
Although I am still working on finding a job since 2010, I am compelled to write you about the sequester effects which you have requested. Already, the looming crisis has caused great panic within my household (well, since I had to sell my house, I guess you could call it a leasehold). My prospects for employment have grown increasingly drear, since the release of illegal aliens has created a personnel glut in the janitorial and food services industry positions. You see, I am not bi-anything, so I can´t jump to the front of the hiring line. I´m not bi-lingual, bi-sexual, bi-partisan, nor bi-nary. My ´´life partner´´ is, unfortunately, of the opposite sex and is as color-challenged as I. But even she can see the tremendous calamity about to rear its ugly head should the dreaded sequester come to fruition. The street out front of our house is a four lane affair which hosts the annual Gay Pride parade wherein the poor dears walk until they drop (much like a sissy 2K Marshmallow Man Marathon). Three months ago, and three doors down from me, there was a murder, kidnapping and suicide. A month after that, the house next to it caught fire and burned down. Well, to put a long story within the confines of a 200 word worried citizen report, I´ve got a ton more crap I gotta deal with than whether or not you take the fall for something of your own making.

U.S. military sources serving in North Africa are challenging the latest White House claim that the administration is applying "all the resources" at its disposal to bring the Benghazi attackers to justice, charging instead that the Obama administration knows who is responsible but is not acting. "They have let it slip by because of politics, and now we´ve taken all the correlation we had and dropped the ball because of risk (aversion) -- and now the security in Libya is more fragile than ever," one U.S. special operator told Fox News. The source, speaking on condition of anonymity,

Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse has apologized for remarks Monday in which he linked Oklahoma "cyclones" to climate change while berating Republicans for their stance on the issue -- around the time a massive tornado killed dozens in that state. A Whitehouse spokesman said Tuesday the politically charged remarks were pre-written as part of the senator’s weekly Senate floor speech on climate change. “Tragically and unbeknownst to the senator at the time, a series of tornadoes were hitting Oklahoma at the same moment he gave his remarks,” the spokesman said.

During a panel discussion on the Department of Justice seizing the phone records of Fox News’ James Rosen, Bret Baier revealed that the seizure included the phone records of Rosen’s parents. The entire panel agreed the scandal was an outrage, with Kirsten Powers pointing out that there have been a number of high-profile leaks from the Obama administration, but the only ones they seem interested in going after are the ones that make them look bad. Charles Krauthammer found it amazing that the government would make such a “huge assault on the first amendment” in trying to

A liberal think tank with close ties to the Obama administration took money from General Motors and other businesses it did not disclose while campaigning for policies benefitting those companies, according to The Nation magazine. Members of the “Business Alliance” of the Center for American Progress (CAP) include bailed out car company GM, unsafe Bangladeshi factory utilizer Walmart, and embattled solar energy company First Solar, according to a membership list obtained by the liberal magazine. Juan Williams, a liberal commentator and a Fox News Channel contributor, criticized the Department of Justice (DOJ) for “criminalizing journalism,” when asked about Fox’s Chief Washington Correspondent James Rosen being labeled as a possible co-conspirator in a government leak investigation. “I think what you’ve got here is a situation where somehow, now, journalism has been criminalized, especially in this Rosen case,” Williams said on Fox & Friends on Tuesday. “There’s just no justification for somehow making it out that a reporter, who is trying to cultivate a source, by doing so is a co-conspirator in terms

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care?
