| If hip-hop music manager Michael “Blue” Williams, the head of Family Tree Entertainment, has his way, New Yorkers will be able to trade guns for Beyonce tickets. That’s part of Williams’ plan for a private-sector gun buyback that he’s pitched to the New York Police Department, the New York Daily News reports. “We want to get as many guns off the streets, and if this works, we’d like to support it,” Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly told the Daily News. Money is fungible. Instead of reducing the available cash by the cost of Beyonce tickets, hoods can score tickets and buy a "new" gun for $25. They could save $25, and just steal a "new" gun. The hoods are ahead by $50 to $400. I love economics....

Wow. Maybe I should get some Beyonce tickets? I´ll trade them for a gun. They can´t all be junk. I´m sure there would be a few gems in the bunch. $50 ticket for a decent $400 or $500 pistol or revolver. Great trade.

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.
