| Shortly before U.S. troops stormed Iraq to oust its dictator, Saddam Hussein released thousands of prisoners from Iraqi jails. Some were petty criminals, some were hardcore, some were terrorists. Hussein unleashed them to build his own popularity and to sow chaos. Today, Barack H. Obama’s Department of Homeland Security is doing this: The sequester is officially still three days away, but the Obama administration already is making the first cuts, with officials confirming that the Homeland Security Department has begun to release what it deems low-priority illegal immigrants from detention. The move is proving controversial. Immigrant-rights groups say

How many American citizens will be slaughtered as a result of the mass release of these human assault weapons of mass destruction?
The depraved murderous Islamonazi squatting in the White House will have blood on his hands.

If ever there was a ‘Must Read’, this is IT. Not solely for the sharp points it makes, but to make sure Washington’s Illegal-Immigrant-in-Chief sees — up front — his similarity to the original Hussein.
Originally I wrote ‘likeness’, but changed it to ‘similarity’ when I remembered that the original Hussein released prisoners as a response to the U.S. . . . not to give Hussein’s own citizens the finger.

But he knows the GOP will not hold him accountable, for anything, so - why not?

The media has gifted us with Obama. Had they done their job, he would have been toast in the 2008 primary. They have no intention of doing anything other than fully supporting him and his policies. Factor in the weakness of the Republican Party and the future is looking pretty grim. Obama is on a mission to destroy this country. Releasing illegal aliens is just another in a long line of tyrannical acts perpetrated on the American public by a faux president, his fawning press, and enabling opposition. When one man has this much power, we cease to be a Republic. Tyranny is tyranny whether under Great Britain or an American President.

Spot on #5 but who in the public spotlight will have the courage to call this blackmail / extortion for what it is?
Isn´t it stunning if a cut of 2% in spending with projected growth necessitates curtailment of vital government services? Doesn´t that make the case in and of itself for a major reset in policy? These bafoons have the unmitigated gall to admit total failure as if we are all too stupid to recognize it for such.
If this isn´t a call to action I don´t know what is.

I believe the french revolution was also begun by the release of prisoners. When criminals are running the show they favour their own. Obama will clearly sacrifice all the legitimate functions of government Law and Order and Defence first to hang onto all the unconstitutional bloat. Nothing that should be cut will be cut. He is at war with patriotic american citizens until they give him a blank cheque to spend, spend, spend. Trillions are added to the budget baseline and the baseline is increased by 10% each year and it is never enough. When the 10% increase becomes 8% he throws a tantrum like this. The first dime of any cut is calculated to shut down the most important functions of government. There will be no law and order and the military will be used against citizens and he wonders why people cling to their guns!

The liberal Democrats look at the vast majority of illegal aliens as prospective new liberal Democrat voters after they get the wimpy Republicans in the Congress to sign on to a few procedural papers. If the Republicans can´t figure that out they belong on a long slide to political oblivion.

One of the sheriffs in AZ was on Fox News with Greta last night. He said ICE started doing this over the weekend paying overtime to the employees who processed these criminals being released on the public. The sheriff made the point that the two most important functions of government are to protect the public ( from criminals), and national security and Obama is threatening to take away those functions to get his own way. ICE told the AZ sheriffs afterwards that they are not releasing murderers, just "criminal" criminals.

It seems to me that there have been many instances where 0bama and most dems could be prosecuted for treason; for malfeasance and a host of other crimes. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. So many violations of the constitution. Czar appointments. Executive orders - removing Congress from it´s duties. Conscience matters. A host of things "they" have done and continue to do. Nothing happens to them. Nothing. Spineless pubbies in Congress will not stand up to 0bama. We the people, once get upset and then we forget about it. And you can figure out the rest of it. One lie becomes truth. Treason? Big time. Tea Party accused of heinous crimes? We are screwed. Nothing legal will bring them down. We have no recourse. I guess we just have to accept it all and shut up.

Obama´s vindictive action against the citizens of the USA is going to backfire, just give it time for the crimes committed by the released to begin adding up. What a mind of a child with a grudge against America.
Don´t tell us there isn´t enough money to keep these illegals in jails: rechannel the money spent on Obama´s travels and the 30,000 drones they plan to have in the US skies by 2020. That should go a long way.

Under the radar weapons and ammo are being stockpiled. Fema camps, Internet kill switch, etc... A long time ago I speculated that bin Hussein would be pi$$ing off a lot of Americans in his second term. His message to Jan Brewer was just that. From here on out he no longer cares if he has the support of the people or not. She said it was chilling. My fear is that, even though he will rule from behind closed doors, someone will make as assassination attempt. From then on all bets are off.

Yesterday was the 20th anniversary of the 1993 first bombing of the World Trade Center, which was the beginning of the Islamic jihad against America. Release of illegals detained is not the release of convicted illegal status criminals. The first question is why were they detained instead of deported.Deportation would have meant we do would not have housed and fed them at great cost. 2nd question why are so many playing chicken little crying the sky is falling and it´s all those nasty RINO´s fault. That is especially distasteful because those called Rino´s are fellow anti- obama´s who just happen to disagree with the name callers about procedures. In about 30 ( GOP controled ) states law enforcers should round up these illegals and join forces to do the necessary deportation. Also consider this is revenge for the deportation hearing to send back to Africa Obe´s illegal status uncle. One more comment -- the only racial part concerns black detainees from Africa.

In re #25, the November election was ours to lose. Due to a number of reasons I have expressed before, Obie´s divide and conquer strategy among the opposition ranks worked. Either we voted for Romney, voted for other offices, but could not/would not vote for Romney, or did not vote at all. That is why we let Obie get away with it now.

But sources close to the case wonder if it was watching “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that afternoon that made Simpson snap. Before Simpson headed to the Palace Station Hotel to rob the dealers, the family of Ronald Goldman, who was murdered along with Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, were on “Oprah” to discuss the controversial book “If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer.” It was a repackaged version of a “fictitious”

As Margalit Fox says at the outset of The Riddle of the Labyrinth, the story of Linear B is well known. This 3,000-year-old language was discovered on clay tablets excavated in 1900 on the island of Crete. It thereafter puzzled scholars for half a century before it was decoded by Michael Ventris, an English architect with no formal training in archeology or linguistics. Linear B’s history is an absorbing tale, full of mysteries both intellectual and historical, and it’s been told and retold since Ventris made his breakthrough. The problem, as Fox sees it,

“Peace will come,” Golda Meir once famously remarked, “when the Arabs start to love their children more than they hate us.” The obstacle to peace was not actually Arabs as such, but Muslims who had imbibed Islam’s doctrine of jihad and hatred of non-believers and primarily Jews — a hatred so intense that it drives people to prefer death (and murder) to life. And as we have seen recently with the monstrous grandstanding of Mama Tsarnaeva, this hatred is passed on in some Muslim families – and Zubeidat Tsarnaeva is by no means the only mother from hell.

No, really, Jay Carney would like to know. Even though he only showed his face in the briefing room twice this week, and even though the White House press corps used him as a punching bag, Barack Obama’s press secretary wants you to know he’s really enjoyed having to address this avalanche of scandals. Wait — did we say scandals? We mean, er, opportunities:(Snip for video) “I dismiss the premise, the idea that these are scandals,” Carney said flatly, calling the controversy over Benghazi a “total concoction by Republicans,” and the IRS scandal merely

Lawyers for the Boston Marathon bombing suspect want to be able to take pictures of the 19-year-old now and over time to show evidence of his injuries and his “evolving mental and physical state,” according to a filing in federal court in Boston. As the defense team for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev argues against the death penalty, it would use the photo evidence to challenge whether he was fit enough to voluntarily provide statements to investigators just after his arrest, according to the filing. US Magistrate Judge Marianne Bowler partially granted the request today. She said the US Bureau of Prisons

BALTIMORE -- Orb is ready for his whirl at history. The Kentucky Derby winner was in a playful mood the day before the Preakness, making faces for photographers between nibbles of grass outside his stall at Pimlico Race Course. "I couldn´t be more pleased with the way he´s doing," trainer Shug McGaughey said at his final pre-Preakness media briefing Friday morning. "I can´t see any adversity. I would have to think it would take a pretty darn good horse to beat him if he goes over and runs his race." If he can defeat eight rivals

Nice try, Mr. President. Feigning anger, firing an unknown bureaucrat and fleeing the podium won’t cut it with voters, or stop the hemorrhaging of the scandals that have spawned a Watergate-like feel around the Obama administration. There was a certain panicky look about the way the president quickly delivered a rare evening White House statement to try to quell the growing outrage over the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups. The move showed how damaging the scandal has become to Obama’s second term and maybe even his presidency. But Obama took no questions and, more importantly,

Watching President Obama trying to dodge raindrops and responsibility yesterday reminded me of the moment when Dorothy pulls back the curtain and discovers that the Wizard of Oz is “just a man.” Stripped of his spell of mystery and power, the wizard is worse than mortal. He’s a fake. So it was with Obama in the Rose Garden. His performance was tired and trite, ordinary to the point of dull. His veneer of passion was so transparent that you could see him trying to summon his old-time magic by pushing the buttons

STANDING BEFORE reporters Thursday, President Obama declined an invitation to compare the recent scandals weighing down his administration with those that forced President Nixon to resign in 1974. So allow us to do the work for him: There is no comparison. Nixon, in a series of crimes that collectively came to be known as Watergate, directed from the White House and Justice Department a concerted campaign against those he perceived as political enemies, in the process subverting the FBI, the IRS, other government agencies and the electoral process to his nefarious purposes. Mr. Obama has done nothing of the kind.

The State Department, under Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, created an arrangement for her longtime aide and confidante Huma Abedin to work for private clients as a consultant while serving as a top adviser in the department. Ms. Abedin did not disclose the arrangement — or how much income she earned — on her financial report. It requires officials to make public any significant sources of income. An adviser to Mrs. Clinton, Philippe Reines, said that Ms. Abedin was not obligated to do so. The disclosure of the agreement that Ms. Abedin made with the State Department comes as her husband,

The White House on Wednesday released 94 pages of emails between top administration and intelligence officials who helped shape the talking points about the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, that the CIA would provide to policymakers in both the legislative and executive branches. The documents, first reported by THE WEEKLY STANDARD in articles here and here, directly contradict claims by White House press secretary Jay Carney and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that the revisions of those talking points were driven by the intelligence community and show heavy input from top Obama administration officials, particularly those at the State Department.

On Thursday´s NBC Today, in a desperate attempt to deflect from the scandals engulfing the Obama administration, co-host Savannah Guthrie wondered: "I read a headline yesterday that said Republicans see blood in the water. That they see a president who´s very vulnerable politically. Is there a danger that they will overreach?" Chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd agreed with the slanted premise: "There is. I mean, that´s what happened to Republicans in 1998 with Bill Clinton.

President Obama’s press conference in the rain was not a success, if by success, his supporters would mean an event which convinces anyone who doesn’t work for him that he’s getting ahead of the scandal deluge. The sight of a Marine holding an umbrella over his head only added to the weirdness of the event. So what did we learn? 1. He has full confidence in Attorney General Eric Holder, the man who purportedly recused himself (whenever) without putting it in writing (whatever). When asked about the untrammeled snooping on Associated Press reporters and editors,
