Fiscal cliff scare came and went with no effect. The tax increase for the wealthy that Obama got was spent in one day toward Sandy Relief with zero dollars going to pay the national debt as Obama promised. Now, he is trying to scare us again with doom and gloom if sequestration happens. Being a civilian working for the government, we are getting ready to be furloughed for a maximum of 22 days for the next six months as part of our share of the 85 billion dollars cut. I am preparing my family to tightened the belt a bit so we can weather the 20 percent pay cut. Call Obama´s bluff, I know I am.

He´s like a little brat throwing a tantrum, threatening to hold his breath. I say call his bluff.

I hate to be the one to point it out, but our world did in fact end in 2012...on the first Tuesday in November, to be exact.

Obama has proven his career choice is that of a community organizer. The Presidency has just given him a bigger platform. He goes out and agitates to his peeps because he doesn´t want compromise. He wants victory and means to get it in any way possible. We have never had a President so openly hostile to the opposing party and its supporters. His only goal is to win and winning means to him the weakening of this country to the point we will be vulnerable fiscally and militarily. He is on a mission and he will not fail.

Obama´s "game plan" here has been previously explained to us, in two short sentences, by his former White House Chief of Staff and the best known graduate of Madame Hubata´s Evanston School of Ballet, Rahm Emanuel..."You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it´s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

Obama is the ultimate example of affirmative action. Pushed along without any actual positive performance, a mediocre resume, at best. The whole democrat organization is responsible for this disaster of a president.

The Marxists always threaten the most critical of government services will be eliminated (policemen, teachersn etc) while the least critical and bloated services will go untouched (subsidizing art, funding Brazilian alt energy, etc).

Watch how they say this when they preach to us in the next days.

But you´re right - never a cut in the bloated interior of government where it would never be missed by the public and might even improve things. Like how about cutting diversity training seminars and team-building junkets altogether? How many ridiculous "studies" do we fund? We could save a boatload by keeping presidential and FLOTUS vacays to twice a year. Just about anyone could find 87B they would love to pull the plug on.

The public is being totally mislead on these sequestration cuts. There is so much waste in the federal government; why isn´t DHS cutting back on their fusion centers or all the intel analysts - didn´t Obama say he got Obama so the war on terror is over?

The Gullible Class is on his side. Plus the payees of the US treasury.

We are the only ones paying attention to this, or even know the truth. Our complicit, lousy media has done a good job of only showing this man and his wife in pop culture terms. Unfortunately, most only know that he is cool enough to play golf with Tiger and she´s got good arms and like her new bangs.

Agitating has been his function ever since (and before) he assumed office. Divide and conquer -- the time-tested recipe used by tyrants. All we need do is read the history of Nazi Germany. And now we have added into the mix a Hispanic population with a literacy rate of 20%. And they vote! And 48% of the population getting government assistance. And he wants to let down the border barriers...why not if it means more ignorant voters for the successors who will carry out the rest of his plan.

First time in my lifetime I´ve witnessed a president having a hissy fit in public.

O´blamo is beside himself because his threats are falling on deaf ears.

Chicken Little and Peter and the Wolf all rolled into one. People are not listening any longer. Unfortunately the little man will attack all that is held dear and leave all the porky czars and bureaucrats in place.

The people who are first going to get screwed across the board by all this are federal workers who are being told that they must essentially take a 20% pay cut over the next six months.

No doubt the federal work force is probably about 50% too big, but it has to be like that for the government to get any work done at all, because about 50% of that work force is made up of people who do little or no meaningful work, with the other 50% doing just about all the meaningful work and pulling all the slack.

It has to be like that, because in political Washington, DC the 50% or so of the federal workforce that is useless is generally made up of political favorites, either individually, or in politically favored groups and they are not going anyplace.

With human nature being what it is, once the entire federal workforce has their pay reduced, the Obama crew will be lucky if they get any bureaucratic work done at all in the near future.

Hey, everyone. Look at your paycheck: It´s 2% smaller.

Obama has some discretion over what gets cut. The Republicans need to hammer this home. Why? Because just like all political dramatists, Obama is going to make cuts to things that hurt the most -- see the release of thousands of illegal immigrants.

It´s also known as extortion.

The GOP can use the fact that he´s making the decisions as to "who", "what", and "where", but they won´t. They simply don´t have the courage to find a soap box and use it.

The messageing is all wrong on this. Just like the dIMS give titles to things (Bush tax cuts) this fiasco should be labeled Obama´s Sequestration Cuts, with that phrase used over and over and over again until the LSM gets it stuck in their talking points.

Whatever one wishes to call his presidency till now , it´s worn off . We talked about his methods three years ago and now his amateurish ´ governing ´ of our country is shining . He´s looking more and more like a banana republic thug , explaining his desperation as of late . Meltdown in the works ?. We keep hoping .

Hey comment #22 I was wondering if anyone would mention our 2% budget cut. It never occurs to Washington that we are squeezed, that we have to make do. The rapid increase in gas prices also cuts the budget. "Stupid is as stupid does."

Like Global Warming, every financial hiccup will now be blamed by the media on sequester.

1. Sequester was Obama´s idea.
2. Obama picks and chooses what to cut.
3. Obama´s salary will not be affected.

There´s nothing to see here on the sequester. Both parties had their heads up their behinds agreeing to it in the first place. This whole affair is just a walk in the park love pat on budget cutting compared to the real aftershock that IS coming and will come during Obie´s dictatorship, ahem...administration. That will be the complete opposite of the Mayan Calendar moment for the Obiemeister.
