| WASHINGTON — On Wednesday, the court-martial of accused Fort Hood gunman Major Nidal Hasan will creep forward at its glacial pace with a motions hearing to hear defense requests on a change of venue and the makeup of the panel that will potentially hear the case. Facing 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder — and potentially the death penalty — Hasan’s trial has been delayed several months by his growth of a beard(Snip) Still, the movement in Hasan’s case is swifter than the move toward any resolution of the grievances of victims

Justice delayed is justice denied. Not sure who is at fault for this dragging on like this but there can´t be a good reason.

Obama wants it both ways. He wants Hasan´s actions as a justification for killing Awlaki with a drone strike under the inciting terrorism clause, but doesn´t want Hasan´s actions to actually be terrorism because it would show his failure to prevent terrorism.

I´m a little divided on this. It should never have been called ´workplace violence´ but terrorism. On the other hand, I don´t think the soldiers involved should be getting combat awards as though they were actually in combat. Many people are murdered each year by terrorists - doesn´t make them hero´s - only victims. They and their families should be properly compensated and taken care of though.

MSNBC host and Obama sycophant Chris Matthews blamed the sun for spoiling the president’s speech in Berlin today. “I think a lot of the problem he had today was the late afternoon sun in Berlin ruined his use of the teleprompter and so his usual dramatic windup was ruined,” Matthews said immediately after the speech. “I think he was really struggling with the text there.” Speaking behind a glass bulletproof shield, Obama appeared to be using the text of the speech rather than reading off of teleprompters.

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria.
