There is a feedback loop that causes conservatives to think twice before opening their mouths. If they make an erroneous statement they will hear it repeated endlessly on the MSM. Its one thing for the MSM to not pounce on misstatements made by liberals, its another altogether to correct misstatements by editing.

Automatic, semi-automatic, single shot, clip fed, crew served. . . with all due respect, what difference does it make at this point? We are dealing with a dead teenager. It makes no more difference how she was killed, who killed her, or what weapon was used, that it makes who killed the American embassy staff at Benghazi and why. ABC did the right thing by removing an irrelevant detail that would have been pounced on by unscrupulous opponents of the Obama administration and used to claim that the First Lady is a careless, uninformed, self-righteous ignoramus who doesn´t know what she is talking about. But just because someone doesn´t know what they are talking about, just because they are not very smart, or just because they have an absurdly exaggerated notion of their own worth, doesn´t mean they are wrong. A person can be dumb, badly educated, unable to think or reason clearly, intellectually lazy, arrogant, even dishonest - and still be right about things that really matter, e.g. social and economic justice, making the world a better place, giving everybody a fair shot, stopping climate change, preventing obesity, eliminating nuclear weapons, perfecting that branch of economics called "loaves and fishes monetary policy," and suppressing illegitimate news sources etc.

Don´t the so-called journalists in the MSM realize they are simply clones of Winston Smith, dropping unwanted things down the memory hole and revising things that don´t fit the administration´s playbook? They are just pitiful.

The self-absorption and narcissism is typical. Had she possessed any genuine interest in the problems of black people, she might well have chosen a different topic, e.g violence in black urban youth gangs.

Had she done so, she would know that members of such gangs can use all the firepower they can get. She foolishly claims such ghetto warriors and entrepreneurs do not "need" automatic(actually, semi-automatic) weapons. She might think differently had she spent some time on the streets with them.

Then again, they might just be collectors, hobbyists, and hunters. It would seem to be racist to assume that black urban youth who cherish firearms are necessarily criminals. How do we know they are not members in good standing of the NRA?
