| William Ayers, the co-founder of the violent 1960s-era Weather Underground and who later befriended Barack Obama at the University of Chicago, has been named a "visiting scholar" at Minnesota State University, continuing his transformation from radical activist to establishment leader. Once the head of a group linked to bombings of buildings tied to the Vietnam war, including the Pentagon and Capitol, he has been invited to play a role in the school´s efforts to include social justice in class courses. During the 2008 presidential campaign, the Ayers-Obama tie was

Comments: It´s no wonder the college students are now radicals. He will play a role in the schools efforts to include ´social justice´ class courses?? There are just no words for this insanity.

Just another example of how utterly corrupt higher education has become! Paying big dollars to put your kids through the charnel houses of Marxism and Communism is just absolutely stupid. Our society has really jumped the shark when we allows scum like Bill Ayers to become esteemed scholars.

What "transformation?" He´s still a radical activist no matter what other descriptions may be added to that.

This is just more of the left´s "war on women." The majority of students at colleges are now women. It is no wonder that the leftist candidates get more of the "women´s vote." A higher percentage of men escape this "social justice" indoctrination so they still retain their common sense. More reason to not protest too much when you sons and grandsons decide to not go to college.

Visiting scholar? And just what is the political statement of Obama´s Aide-de-Camp/Confidant Professor William C. Ayers´s Weather Underground?:
"We are a guerrilla organization. We are communist women and men, underground in the United States for more than four years"..."We need a revolutionary communist party to lead the struggle, give coherence and direction to the fight, seize power and build the new society."

And lest we forget - pretty well all evidence points to Ayers actually having ´ghost-written´ Obama´s supposed ´autobiography´, Dreams from my Father...
So we as a nation are saddled with both an ´educational structure´ that values a jackass who famously claimed he ´wished he´d set off more bombs´ - and *only* avoided prison because of ´inadmissible evidence´ tactics by the FBI...
And a ´president´ who had enough of both an intellectual and ethical shortcoming to make this arse his friend and ´mentor´.
There was an adage once - ´You´re known by the company you keep´. Our ´current company´ is an administration that wants to make it illegal to *not* associate with criminals. One need simply view the current ´labor dept´ threats of prosecution of firms that ´ask about criminal past history´ of job applicants.
The lowlifes in academia and the White House want us all to wallow in the mud with ´em.

He and his wife and supporters murdered 5 people. They by their own admission set off over 100 bombs and wounded scores of people.
William Ayers designed a bomb that luckily went off prematurely as it was to kill over 300 people at a Army dance.
michelle obama introduced them to her then boyfriend. He and his wife are mass murderers and best friends with the obama´s.

Exactly a useless cow college. I grew up in Minnesota, and this is not a serious school. Definitely 3rd or 4th tier.
If I lived in the area, I´d hop the river and go to NDSU. They have both a serious finance program, and were among the first universities to establish the Physician´s Assistants program that came about as a result of the Special Forces Medics training.

We now know that the Justice Department kept exceptionally close tabs on Fox News reporter James Rosen in 2010, following his trips in and out of the State Department, hacking his personal emails and phone calls. Normal newsgathering activities are being treated as criminal activities by the White House. But consider what the same White House had to say about Fox News back in 2009. You might remember the concerted effort by White House officials to brand the right-leaning Fox News as a bogus news outlet, unworthy of attention.

Huma Abedin, former Secretary of State Hillary’s Clinton’s long time aide with extensive ties to Muslim Brotherhood groups, was granted an arrangement by the State Department to do outside consulting work, even as she remained a top advisor in the Department. Abedin did not disclose either the arrangement, or how much she earned from it, on her financial report, despite a requirement that public officials must disclose significant sources of income. Clinton advisor Philippe Reines contended she was under no obligation to do so. Abedin, who has served Clinton for 15 years, became a “special government employee”

A federal judge in Washington ruled in 2010 that the Justice Department was not required by law to notify Fox reporter James Rosen that prosecutors had obtained his emails in connection with an investigation into a leak about North Korean plans to test a nuclear weapon. In September 2010, Chief U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth overruled the conclusion of federal magistrate John Facciola that Rosen—whose Gmail account was searched—was entitled by law to be informed. Prosecutors contended that under the statute used to get Rosen´s emails, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, they were not

The Department of Justice released a statement moments ago amid reports of the department obtaining a subpoena in order to access Fox News reporter James Rosen´s personal emails. "Leaks of classified information to the press can pose a serious risk of harm to our national security and it is important that we pursue these matters using appropriate law enforcement tools. Such investigations and prosecutions, including this particular case, follow all applicable laws, regulations, and longstanding Department of Justice policies intended to safeguard the First Amendment interests of the press in reporting the news and the public in receiving it."

Michelle Malkin joined Megyn Kelly on Fox News Monday afternoon to discuss the latest developments in the investigation into the IRS targeting conservatives for audits. Malkin insisted it was not merely her “ideology” that has led to critique the Obama administration on their handling of the IRS issue and others, but rather the evidence she’s seen of their “bully brigade tactics” to “intimidate and criminalize their political opponents.” Malkin began by going after White House Press Secretary Jay Carney for his handling of the various Obama “scandals,” saying the “clown Carney press briefings have turned in

The Justice Department, already under fire for seizing AP phone records, also viewed e-mails of Fox News chief Washington correspondent James Rosen, calling him a criminal ´co-conspirator´ for his reporting. Fox News´ executive vice president of news, Michael Clemente, released a statement defending Rosen. The statement issued Monday afternoon is below: "We are outraged to learn today that James Rosen was named a criminal co-conspirator for simply doing his job as a reporter," Clemente said. Michael Steinbach, former head of the FBI’s counterterrorism division and now special agent in charge of Miami, told over 30 congressional staffers in March of 2012 that, contrary to the White House´s classification, the bureau does not refer to the Fort Hood shooting as "workplace violence." As head of the FBI counterterrorism division, Steinbach oversaw the investigation into the mass murder at Texas Army base. Steinbach made this claim during an unclassified counterterrorism briefing on Capitol Hill. “Do you guys teach your agents that Fort Hood was workplace violence?” one staffer asked.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement
