GOP lawmaker says
Cheney will go to hell

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Justin Sink

A Republican congressman said this weekend that former Vice President Dick Cheney would likely end up in hell — alongside former President Lyndon Johnson — for their roles in pushing the country toward the Vietnam and Iraq wars. "Congress will not hold anyone to blame. Lyndon Johnson´s probably rotting in hell right now because of the Vietnam War, and he probably needs to move over for Dick Cheney," Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.) said at a conference in his home state, according to the Huffington Post.

Comments:
This is really helpful! s/o What´s the matter with these morons. One thing you have to say about the contemptible Democrats is they stay united. This is ridiculous.

Very stupid thing to say....about anybody.

Walter is not showing much of an example.

Jones was a Democrat until 1994. Over the past five years, he´s been drifting steadily back toward the left. Like John Kerry, he was for the Iraq war before he was against it. He drafted an impeachment resolution against Obama for waging an illegal war in March 2012. he appears to be on shaky ground in NC, where a lot of the economy is dependent on the military.

Who died and appointed this man God. He might add his name to the hell list, also.

How easily (and quickly) the religious doom you to hell. Beware the righteous.

I thought leftists (he is a leftist) didn´t believe in God, heaven, or hell!

Obviously someone unclear on the concept of how you get to hell.

Well. G-d can finally take a week off. Walter Jones is willing to fill in for Him.

Maybe when Jones gets there he will let us know if the VP is there. Lying is a sin and he´s no Republician.

I know nothing of Cheney´s religious beliefs but, war alone doesn´t condemn one to hell. Dick Cheney was a confident and knowledgeable man taking care of business as required of him. I keep hearing how contemptible he is (especially from the left) and have seen no real account of his supposed sins. What is it he´s been guilty of? Cheating on his wife? Lying at every opportunity? Profaning God? Killing others for his own profit or entertainment? Has he been stealing what belongs to another? I´d like to know.

The good people of NC now have a "marked man" to vote OUT.
Unless we become steadfast in support of conservative Republicans, and weed out the jerks, the Republicans will never be in power again. Seems that a good many are more onboard with democrats, and THEY gotta go.
He evidently didn´t get the message about Reagan´s 11th commandment. I´ve had enough.

This is the kind of stupid remark and stupid individual that´s ruining the Republican Party! The Republican leadership needs to get these idiots under control or they can kiss their party goodbye!

The Republican Party continues to circle the drain. Too many of our own assist the MSM and the enemies of freedom to slander and destroy the FEW conservative heroes we have....

Evidently indifferent to genocide and communist mass murderers, Walter should probably be more concerned about his own afterlife...

In 2007, then Senator Barack Obama appeared on CNN´s Larry King Live and called on U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign. Obama said Gonzales was acting more like the president´s attorney than the people´s attorney and viewed himself as an "enabler of the administration." "Well, I voted against Alberto Gonzales confirmation for precisely the reason we are seeing now. I said this on the floor of the senate, that although he seemed to be a capable attorney, he seemed to conceive his role as being the president´s attorney instead of being the people´s attorney," Obama said.

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. The way to prevent abortionists like convicted murderer Kermit Gosnell from occurring again is to build more Planned Parenthood clinics, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said at a House Judiciary Subcommittee hearing on Thursday about legislation that would prevent abortion after 20 weeks nationwide. “I would urge my colleagues to think about the extent to which he, Dr. Gosnell, represented the poor quality of health care services available in poorer communities,” Nadler said at the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice hearing. “We should be working to make sure that high quality

House Speaker John A. Boehner on Thursday flatly ruled out chances of the House passing the Senate’s immigration bill, saying his chamber will debate its own bill instead. The Ohio Republican and his top lieutenants in the party issued a joint statement that seemed designed to tamp down some of the momentum behind the Senate bill, which emerged from a committee on a bipartisan 13-5 vote this week, and to stake out a House GOP position. “While we applaud the progress made by our Senate colleagues, there are numerous ways in which

During friendly questioning from Rep. Hank “I fear that Guam will capsize!” Johnson in Congress last week, Attorney General Eric Holder offered the following statement. In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. He made that statement before the facts about the sweep on Fox News’ James Rosen were known. Since then, it’s come to light that Holder himself approved the subpoena that, among other things, named Rosen as a criminal co-conspirator.

As the saying goes, scratch a liberal and you’ll find a tyrant underneath. NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo is but the latest example. He shoved a very restrictive and ill-considered gun law through the state legislature in the dead of night. Among its flaws, the law criminalized police officers who tote firearms with magazines that hold more than seven rounds. Sheriffs around the state have objected to the law. Cuomo summoned them to the state capitol under what appears to be a false pretext, and used the meeting to threaten them into silence. Cuomo invited

The National Council of La Raza (translation: The Race) has partnered with the Office of Personnel Management to encourage Hispanic activists and members to burrow into the federal government. A workshop sponsored by La Raza/The Race will take place in New Orleans on July 23, 2013. Senior Executive Service (SES) employees are federal government employees in special executive management positions, often with salaries approaching $200,000 per year (and well past that with benefits). Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
