Liberal media will ‘shut
you down, stab you, kill you,
fire you’ if you disagree

Daily Caller, by Juan Williams

Original Article

Posted By:Pluperfect, 2/26/2013 5:51:01 AM

Fox News political analyst and “Special Report” panelist Juan Williams said in an interview with The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas that mainstream media outlets “stab” and “kill” dissenting voices. Williams was fired from National Public Radio in 2010 after saying he sometimes gets “nervous” when seated on an airplane with Muslims, while making a broader point about the importance of religious tolerance. “I always thought it was the Archie Bunkers of the world, the right-wingers of world, who were more resistant and more closed-minded about hearing the other side,” he said.

Sorry Juan. If it took you decades to find this out you were never interested in the truth. You´re still shilling for the left anyway, so what lessons have you learned?

He´s propagandizing for free and open liberal media. Those terms are mutually exclusive. He´s spinning his wheels.

This is hilarious. The drive-by media is a wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC and Juan praises and defends the DNC at every turn. What a hypocrit.

FTA: "I always thought it was the Archie Bunkers of the world, the right-wingers of world, who were more resistant and more closed-minded..."

Archie Bunker has gotten a bum rap for generations. Of all the characters on that show, it was Archie who changed the most. Certainly not that bloviating Meathead, who hardly changed at all.

Archie, who was supposedly anti-Semitic, took in Edith´s Jewish niece and raised her and even joined the local temple so she could get her religious instruction. Archie hired a Hispanic to work at his bar. He stood up to the local KKK. Those are just a few examples which come to mind.

Juan Williams?? He´s a clown. I turn the station everytime he comes on the TV. I am saturated with leftism all day but when I am home I at least have a remote control.

One of the main reasons I can´t watch Fox news. The last show I watched with any regularity was Bret Bair´s. Juan´s contribution was usually something between a whine which escalated to a holler for the left- usually centered on the most important theme of his entire thought process- race.

Doesn´t EVER occur to Wrong Williams that the problem is the leftoid mindset itself; a form of mental disorder? Being a mental disorder, leftoidism taints EVERYTHING it touches, let alone anything it influences or controls.

Too right #7. FNC sipped from the Potomac for years but now they have a free flowing tap in the break room.

Juan drives me crazy on Fox. So what? Do we want Fox to become a one-note network like MSNBC (think Rachel Madcow or Sargent Schultz or Sharpy Sharpton, with one hour of guests that agree with everything they say).

Good for Fox for having Juan on the air. And good for Juan for figuring out the media (better late than never).

Two points:
Apropos of #5, Archie also took in his SIL and all his liberalism. I doubt that the obverse would have been true.
And Juan, you are surprised that the Party of:
The KKK, Jim Crow, Bull Connor, the supporters of Che, Castro, Chavez, Stalin, Lenin, Marx ad infinitum is VIOLENT???

How dumb are you?

Reply 15 - Posted by: Chuzzles, 2/26/2013 8:40:29 AM     (No. 9196672)

He proved his ignorance and liberal bonafides are permanently fixed in his heart when after NPR dumped him and Fox took him in, the stupidity still spewed forth. He could be the posterboy for the beaten wife syndrome. Carry on all you want, but acknowledging your stupidity while continuing to perform it just makes you look even dumber, not to mention less credible than ever.

Juan is just another Obama voter. Stopped paying any attention to what he has to say long ago.

The author isn´t Williams, it´s Staff. The interview of Williams by Ginni Thomas is the subject. At least that´s what I figure, based on what is tacked on at the end of the article.

A female suicide bomber blew herself up in the southern Russian region of Dagestan on Saturday injuring at least 18, including two children and five police officers, police said. (Snip) It was the first suicide bombing in Dagestan since the Boston Marathon bombings last month. The Tsarnaev brothers suspected of carrying out those attacks are ethnic Chechens who lived in this turbulent Caucasus province before moving to the U.S. Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the elder brother who was killed a shootout with police days after the April 15 bombings, spent six months in Dagestan in 2012.

Tyranny around the corner --
Team Obama trashes Constitution

Fox News, by Judge Andrew P. Napolitano    Original Article

A few weeks ago, President Obama advised graduates at Ohio State University that they need not listen to voices warning about tyranny around the corner, because we have self-government in America. He argued that self-government is in and of itself an adequate safeguard against tyranny, because voters can be counted upon to elect democrats (lowercase “d”) not tyrants. His argument defies logic and 20th-century history. It reveals an ignorance of the tyranny of the majority, which believes it can write any law, regulate any behavior, alter any procedure and tax any event so long as it can get away with it.

What Is True Conservatism?
Commentary Magazine, by Peter Wehner    Original Article

In a recent column, Michael Gerson wrote about modern conservatism’s “two distinct architectural styles.” One approach within conservatism, he said, celebrates those who seek to apply abstract principles in their purest form. The alternative approach is more disposed toward compromise, incremental progress and taking into account shifting circumstances. What’s worth noting, I think, is that many of those in the first camp consider themselves to be more principled and authentically conservative than those in the second, who are often derided as RINOs and “squishes,” as part of the much-derided “establishment” and who go along to get along.

House-Senate showdown

If there were an organized opposition to comprehensive immigration reform -- and there really isn´t, compared to the political/business/activist/lobbying complex in favor of it -- the opposition would pound daily on the key weakness at the heart of the Senate Gang of Eight bill. That weakness is simple. The bill proposes to legalize 11 million currently illegal immigrants before imposing greater border security and workplace enforcement. In that, the gang´s priorities are different from the American people´s. An opposition would remind the public of that, often. Many polls have shown that voters favor eventual legalization and a pathway to citizenship

President Obama called today for a renewed effort to close the prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. But back in 2009, the White House dropped the ball on closing the controversial military prison by failing to come up with a plan in time, refusing to help House Democrats who were fighting for its closure, and then abandoning the plan altogether and blaming Republicans. In a speech at the National Defense University in Washington, Obama said his Jan. 21, 2009, executive order to close the prison was never implemented because House Republicans placed funding and legislative restrictions on moving

American tourists dining on a glacier in eastern Iceland found themselves floating away from shore on an iceberg earlier this week, an Icelandic newspaper reported. Four people were rescued from Fjallsárlón glacial lagoon. They had set up a table and chairs with plans for dinner when a gust of wind pushed the ice from the land. They were stranded about 30 feet from shore. One of the diners managed to jump to shore before the ice drifted too far and call for help. The tourists have not been identified, but a photo captured three of the diners

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
